The financial crisis in 2008, effected companies around the globe and forced them to change their operational strategies, in order to survive. Companies with international links needed to consider external effects and due to that adapt their strategies on a global level. Demands for goods and service were decreasing and companies could only manage the cost during a recession to not face bankruptcy. Organisations need to reconsider their optimal strategy as this will determine their future outcome when managing a crisis as the one in 2008. The substitute is of most part Internet based services from where you can watch movie online or download film legally as well as illegally.These different sorts of new competitors or substitutes become a big threat on the traditional rental movie stores as these substitutes can offer the same prices or even lower.With these new ways of watching film this will on turn change the behaviours of the customers that likes to watch movies. Den här uppsatsen redovisar en uttalsstudie bland personer med arabiska som förstaspråk. Studien är dels kontrastiv då den undersöker uttalsavvikelser i det svenska språket utifrån den kontrastiva hypotesen, dels en attitydundersökning som tar upp både inlärares och lärares attityd till uttalsavvikelser. Fokus ligger på vokalerna, konsonanterna och de prosodiska egenskaperna (ordbetoning och längd) som brukar ställa till med problem vid andraspråksinlärning.I studien används två metoder, dels uttalstest, och dels intervjuer med inlärare och lärare. Uttalstestet består av två delar: styrt tal, d.v.s. en uppläst text, och fritt tal om ett specifikt ämne.

Syftet med arbetet var att belysa omvårdnadspersonalens upplevelser av patienter med självskadande beteende samt vården av dem. Arbetet hade en beskrivande design, 21 sjuksköterskor och skötare/undersköterskor från somatisk och psykiatrisk akutmottagning deltog i arbetet. Data samlades in via semistrukturerade intervjuer och analyserades utifrån kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet redovisas i form av tre kategorier som bildades utifrån följande koder. Kategorin ?emotionella problem? bildades utifrån koderna frustration, irritation, sympati, manipulation, vanmakt över onåbara patienter, maktlöshet, oro och beskriver omvårdnadspersonalens upplevelser av patienter med självskadande beteende.

One of our reasons is that we think the subject usability is interesting, is that we think it is an important. Usability is maybe the most important element when you develop or choose a system because it can save money for the companies and give the users a more delightful and better work environment. The aim of the investigation is to find out if the implementation of a web portal is a direction to reach higher usability in a complex system that consists of several different interacting applications. We have used a qualitative investigation method in our study to answer our hypothesis.

Ambitionen med denna studie är att med hjälp av branschexperter och konsumenter söka faktorer som ska öka vår förståelse för om Egna Märkesvaror (EMV) uppfyller ett behov för konsumenterna eller om det är ett hämmande inslag i Svensk dagligvaruhandel. I vår undersökning använder vi oss av en deduktiv ansats där vi utgår från redan befintliga teorier och ställer dessa emot empirin. För att säkerställa validitet har vi valt att använda metoden fallstudie som tillåter stor frihet i insamlingen av data, tolkning och analys. Valet av teori utgår ifrån en samverkan mellan varumärkesteorier, relationsmarknadsföringsteorier och teorier om EMV, eftersom dessa utgör en betydande roll för denna studie. Empirin är insamlad genom fem intervjuer med olika butikschefer på ICA och Coop samt genom en konsumentundersökning.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka vilken uppfattning pedagoger i förskola och skola har om sambandet mellan mat och koncentration. Anser de att mat har en betydelse för barns förmåga att delta i de verksamheter de befinner sig i? För att barn och vuxna skall orka vara delaktiga i sociala sammanhang och kunna vara koncentrerade krävs en näringsriktig kost. Vi har därför sökt att få fram vad som betraktas vara en näringsriktig måltid för barn. Genom enkätundersökning, intervju, observation samt litteraturstudier har vi försökt att få fram svar på dessa frågor.

Storage of biomass is often associated with problems such as heat development, dry matter losses and reduction of fuel quality. The rise in temperature can potentially cause a risk of self-ignition in the fuel storage. Moreover, emissions from storage piles can cause health problems in the surrounding. The dry matter losses and reduction of fuel quality can have economical effects. The aim of this thesis project is to develop guidelines on how to store large amount of biomass at Vattenfalls heat and power plants in an optimal way.

Idag finns få studier gällande könsskillnader inom hörselvården, däremot finns forskning inom andra vårdområden. Hörselvården består bland annat av rehabilitering, där den tekniska hörselrehabiliteringen är en stor del. Den innefattar främst utprovning av hörapparater och hörseltekniska hjälpmedel.    Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om det finns några skillnader mellan män och kvinnor gällande den tekniska hörselrehabiliteringen.    Metoden för studien är kvantitativ och deskriptiv. En journalgenomgång inom ett enskilt landsting genomfördes. Totalt ingick patientjournaler för 56 personer i undersökningen.
