Faktorer som berörs är typgrad, ljusrum, textlängd, teckensnittsklass, radlängd, bild i text och kontrastverkan. Arbetet utgår från en normativ, svensk person utan funktionsnedsättningar.

This essay is about the market of traditional rental movie stores, which today are on a mature stage of the marketing cycle. The technique is constantly accelerating and contributes to evaluation of new ways to watch movie. Fokus ligger på vokalerna, konsonanterna och de prosodiska egenskaperna (ordbetoning och längd) som brukar ställa till med problem vid andraspråksinlärning.I studien används två metoder, dels uttalstest, och dels intervjuer med inlärare och lärare. Uttalstestet består av två delar: styrt tal, d.v.s. en uppläst text, och fritt tal om ett specifikt ämne.

Vi har använt oss utav en teoretisk modell vid namn Trade Fair Intelligence, för att få med alla delar som berör ett mässdeltagande.Uppsatsens undersökning bygger på att vi har utfört en dold observation på en verklig blomster- och inredningsmässa, för att se hur kunder och personal beter sig under en mässa. Vilka problem som kan uppstå och vilka metoder som är bäst för att lösa dem.

Ambitionen med denna studie är att med hjälp av branschexperter och konsumenter söka faktorer som ska öka vår förståelse för om Egna Märkesvaror (EMV) uppfyller ett behov för konsumenterna eller om det är ett hämmande inslag i Svensk dagligvaruhandel. I vår undersökning använder vi oss av en deduktiv ansats där vi utgår från redan befintliga teorier och ställer dessa emot empirin. För att säkerställa validitet har vi valt att använda metoden fallstudie som tillåter stor frihet i insamlingen av data, tolkning och analys. Valet av teori utgår ifrån en samverkan mellan varumärkesteorier, relationsmarknadsföringsteorier och teorier om EMV, eftersom dessa utgör en betydande roll för denna studie. Empirin är insamlad genom fem intervjuer med olika butikschefer på ICA och Coop samt genom en konsumentundersökning.

A plant's defensive ability against herbivore attack can be influenced by many different factors, one of them being domestication. During human selection to improve the yield of plants, the resistance against herbivore attack can have been lowered, due to a trade-off for use of resources between these traits in the plants. In this thesis I investigated the effect of domestication on resistance against herbivorous insects in cotton plants. I used different varieties and species of wild and domesticated cotton in three different experiments. A feeding assay was conducted, the mortality, development time and pupal weight of larvae of the Egyptian cotton leaf worm Spodoptera littoralis was studied. In a second experiment the preference of the root-feeding beetle Agriotes spp.

In the process ofimproving the quality of Swedish water bodies, knowledge of where problems occur isneeded in order to utilize the resources optimally. The ability of lakes to store water is animportant factor since it controls the flow of water through the country. A stage-dischargeequation is a mathematical relation between discharge from a lake and its water level. Bybetter understanding of stage-discharge equations for lakes, their storage capacity can bedescribed better in hydrological models.This master thesis aims to evaluate methods for determining stage-discharge equations forlakes where a variable amount of field measurements is available.

Storage of biomass is often associated with problems such as heat development, dry matter losses and reduction of fuel quality. The rise in temperature can potentially cause a risk of self-ignition in the fuel storage. Moreover, emissions from storage piles can cause health problems in the surrounding. The dry matter losses and reduction of fuel quality can have economical effects. The aim of this thesis project is to develop guidelines on how to store large amount of biomass at Vattenfalls heat and power plants in an optimal way.
