The object with this work was to create a simple feeding program for beef cows. Another object was that I could learn more about the properties and functions of Excel and Visual Basic. I used parts of a program I designed a few years ago. This old program was neither user friendly nor had it an appealing layout. Initially I decided how I wanted the new program to appear and on which foundation it should be built. I designed various forms into a spread sheet, such as lists and multiple choice buttons. Using VBA (Visual Basic for Application) I could create macros, which used the information chosen in the lists and with the multiple choices to calculate the feeding requirement or the feeding plan.

I detta examensarbete undersöktes förutsättningarna och viljan till förändring av skolgårdar i Upplands Väsby kommun till så kallade Gröna skolgårdar. Som Grön skolgård definieras en skolgård där skolans utemiljö innehåller estetiska, miljömässiga och pedagogiska funktioner.Användningen av skolgården som plats för konkret lärande är intressant ur en utomhus-pedagogisk synvinkel. Därför belyses i en första teoretiska del utomhuspedagogikens bildningshistoriska och pedagogiska rötter och även utomhuspedagogikens dolda ställning i läroplanen.Undersökningens andra empiriska del omfattar utvärderingen av en enkät om skolgården som delades ut till Runbyskolans elever och personal. Svaren visar på ett stort engagemang och bra idéer och att elever och personal har en realistisk uppfattning av skolgårdens nuläge och förändringspotential. Enkätsvaren jämfördes med ansökningar och förslag till skolgårdsförändring från andra skolor i kommunen och ställdes i kontext till kommunens organisation och förvaltning.Undersökningen visade att viljan till skolgårdsförändring finns och förutsättningarna för Gröna skolgårdar i Runbyskolan och hela Upplands Väsby kommun är bra, men att det kanske behövs organisatoriska förändringar i ansvarsfördelningen beträffande skolgårdsarbete som redan har genomförts i några andra kommuner i Sverige för att nå snabbare synliga resultat..

This master thesis aims to describe and examine Haninge cultural centre, inaugurated in 2002. We study the centre from an organization theory point of view, with focus on the buildings physical appearance. The question we want to answer is to what extent, and if, Haninge cultural centre fulfills the underlying vision, formulated by the municipality of Haninge. Is the centre the symbol of a new era of Haninge and a vivid democracy as it was meant to be? Is there a congruency between the image the building creates and the vision that was formulated by the municipality? We also seek out to see how the cultural centre relates to an older tradition of cultural centres.

Internet is used today as a traditional medium for information exchange and social interaction. One of these is virtual meeting places where people meet and exchange information, socialize and exchange knowledge with each other. The group has chosen to examine the factors affecting the use of web forums, one of the virtual meeting places that exist on the Internet today. And look at how people use the web forum today in the current situation and how to design a web forum.A survey was conducted to find out how people look at web forums today, 80 people participated, and they got to talk about what they think about different web forums regarding how and why the use these them. Guidelines on how a web forum should be designed were also developed.

Abstract Cucumber is the second most frequently consumed vegetable after tomatoes, 33 % are eating cucumber every day. The purpose of this work is to examine if there is any product development of cucumber in Sweden, and if so in what way. A questionnaire was used with a number of questions regarding quality, origin, supply and the way cucumbers were used, and the person was also asked to choose between the normal large cucumber and the minicucumbers. This was answered by totally 100 persons in two different stores, ICA Maxi in Löddeköpinge and a discount store with a large supply of fruit and vegetables and where a large share of customers are immigrants, Özen All Frukt in Malmö. The results from questionnaire show that in some of the issues the results vary a lot between the two stores.

This report is about logistic efficiency in companies without own production. The authors have interviewed employees working at two companies, Telias store in Skärholmen and Orion Diagnostica AB. The purpose of the report is to find out which logistic functions the two companies are using to create efficiency.Today?s markets are more global. Different parts of a product can be made in different parts of the world.

Storage of biomass is associated with problems like heat development, biomasslosses, and reduction of the fuel quality. Certain processes such as biological- andchemical degradation are responsible for these storage problems. This master?sthesis was carried out at Vattenfall Research and Development AB and is alignedtowards quantifying the biomass losses from short-term storage (1-2 months) ofbark and recovered wood. The biomass was stored in outdoor piles during differentseasons, campaign 1 (summer) and campaign 2 (autumn).

In this thesis I examine the events that followed the death of August Strindberg and resulted in his private belongings becoming an important part of Swedens cultural heritage. My purpose has been twofold: firstly, to identify which aims were sought to be achieved when dealing with Strindberg's archives and his home and to relate these to a nationalistic interpretation of history, secondly, to relate this work to the then newly introduced archival principle, the Principle of provenance. I identified three different aims: firstly the economic aim must be seen in the light of an increasingly expanding publishing market. I argue that the author gained a new and important role in the general social debate a nationalistic one, an important point with regard to my following conclusions. Secondly, the aim to store and display the material in a museum is discussed in relation to different views of cultural history and the interpretation of history.

Men commit more suicide than women all over the world. They commit more violent crimes and are more inclined to alcohol abuse. There are studies that relate this behaviour to the hegemonic image of masculinity.My work focuses on Switzerland. The suicide rate in Switzerland is worrying, for men between 15 and 44 years suicide is the most common cause of death. There is no national suicide prevention and no information or prevention that highlights the connection bet- ween the hegemonic image of masculinity and the suicide rates.

Galna Glassen is a company that has a unique way of selling ice cream in Sweden. The idea is for the costumer to be able to compose their own favorite ice cream, partly by choosing the flavor of ice cream but also by picking the ingredients. The ingredients that can be chosen from are around twenty and can be everything from cookies to candy to berries. When the costumer has chosen their ice cream and ingredients they are mixed together on a cooled granite board.The company was very successful when it was founded in the summer of 2011 and decided to expand to other cities in Sweden. They also wanted to explore the profitability of a mobile sales unit that is intended for festivals and events.The thesis is meant to develop Galna Glassen?s mobile sales unit.

BackgroundDiathermy is the most commonly used surgical instrument in the surgical area today. Diathermy is used in surgery to cut and coagulate tissue. The use of diathermy releases chemical substances in to the environment in the form of diathermy smoke. Research shows that these chemical substances pose health risks to both staff and patient exposed to the smoke. To protect the interdisciplinary, perioperative team from the smoke, smoke evacuation systems can be used.ObjectiveThe purpose of the study is to highlight the work environment of the perioperative team when working with diathermy smoke.MethodThe study is meant to be implemented as an empirical descriptive sample survey.

Den explosivt ökande mängden information som finns tillgänglig på Internet har även sina avigsidor. Att hitta meningsfull information och kunskap på Internet idag blir allt svårare. Behovet av verktyg som kan hjälpa individer och företag att ta fram värdefull information, speciellt tidskritisk sådan på ett effektivt sätt, är och kommer att bli mycket stort. Likaså kommer behovet av att komma åt denna information, oberoende av tid och plats att vara stort och bli allt större i takt med den ständigt accelererande utvecklingstakten. Vi har försökt att belysa hypotesens komplexitet och visa på det faktum att inte bara en utan många beståndsdelar spelar in vid skapandet av en personanpassad informationsportal.

Det största skälet till att inte läsa Spionen är bristen på tillgänglighet och att man inte känner till den.Det finns inga starka negativa åsikter mot Spionens innehåll. Den största kritiken får den yttre formen utstå, tidningens form, färg och layout.Studenterna är överens om att man vill ha lokala nyheter i sin studenttidning. Allra starkast intresse visar man dock ?jobb ochkarriärmöjligheter efter studietiden?.Det finns två grupper av studenter.

This report deals with handling and interim storage of soils which are planned tobe reused in construction works. The types of soils that are dealt with are gravel, topsoil and sand. The thesis work has been carried out in collaboration with Skanska Sverige Väg och Anläggning Sydost. The main goal is to find an area for using to store soil in between projects.Studies of laws and regulations regarding exploitation and storage of soil has led to a theoretical background upon which the report is based. Background informationhas also been gathered in meetings with the employees at Tekniska Kontoret and Länsstyrelsen in Jönköping.On the basis of literature studies results, a general template has been developed for which desirable properties a possible location should meet.The model was applied to find a number of possible options in the vicinity of Jönköping.
