Syfte:Syftet med denna studie var att visa om faktorer som sömn- och motionsvanor samvarierar med gymnasieelevers studieresultat. Hypotesen vi arbetat utifrån var att en god balans mellan sömn och motion har en bättre inverkan på studieresultaten än vad ett obalanserat förhållande har.De tre frågeställningarna vi arbetade efter var? Finns det något samband mellan de antal timmar per natt under en skolvecka som en gymnasieelev sover och dennes studieresultat?? Ser sambandet sömn-studieresultat samt träning-studieresultat annorlunda ut mellan de praktiska och studieförberedande programmen?? Finns det något samband mellan den mängd lätt motion som gymnasieelever företar sig och deras studieresultat?MetodVi har valt att genomföra en enkätundersökning. Enkäten innehöll frågor rörande elevers sömn-, motions- och studievanor samt en fråga kring deras betyg i vissa av kärnämnena.Antalet enkäter uppgick till 149 stycken. Enkätundersökningen genomfördes på en gymnasieskola i en mellanstor stad i Svealand.Resultat:Studien påvisar ett svagt samband mellan sömn, motion och studieprestation.

In this project we have used the theory of analytical mechanics to derive equations of motion for complex mechanical systems in order to study their behaviour over time. Even if the theory provides powerful tools to tackle tough problems which would be very hard to solve by methods of Newtonian mechanics, you are still relatively limited without running any computer simulations. One realises that in a faster rate it will be an incredibly difficult task to find an analytical solution when the degrees of freedom increases. Even if one would succeed to derive the equations, one still has to solve them to get the information of the systems behavior. Of experience one knows that the equations in general are nonlinear and hence must be integrated numericaly.

Background: The Stop rule for buying in property was introduced through 1976 years legislation and its formemost purpose was to prevent companies to acquire property that was useless for the company. Assets such as cars, boats and arts were of current interest. At the same time as this stop rule was introduced, another stop rule was also introduced and this was meant to work to forbid the partner to buy property from the close company to a price that would lead to sell at loss for the company. After a government decision (1999:2000, Abolished Stop rules) the close company is no longer living under this restriction since these two stop rules have been abolished since January 2001. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate which criteria are the basis to judge whether the assets is to consider as useful or not for the close company.

De aspekter som vi valt att fokusera på är användandet av Oculus Rift och Motion Capture då de tar upp viktiga punkter som Virtual Reality, närvaro och inlevelse i spel. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the possibility of replacing data from highspeed filming (Qualisys motion capture) with data from Inertial Measurement Units (X-io technologies), when used to run a model of torso and pelvis in OpenSim. Qualisys motion capture data is used as the golden standard to validate the result visually and with Bland-Altman plots.In order to obtain comparable data experiments are conducted where both methods of collecting data are used simultaneously. Data from the IMU's then need to be processed in Matlab before it can be used to run the OpenSim modell. Several Matlab programs rotate the IMU data to a static reference frame, filter and integrate it, then create viritual markers that correspond to Qualisys' optical markers.The conclusion is that using IMU as a method for collecting data can replace Qualisys in some applications, but not in ones that require high precision. However, this paper only begins the examination of IMU's and there are most likely improvements to be made..

Over 40 miljon people in the world suffer from hiv/aids today. Africa is the continent that is worst affected by hiv/aids but how is the situation in Sweden? Why is it so quiet concerning hiv/aids in Sweden? Our aim with this work was to find out about the hiv/aids situation in Sweden and particulary in Malmö. The result of our research was that hiv/aids have increased since the year 2000 and most of the people had caught the infection in other countries than Sweden. This raised our curiosity concerning how immigrants/refugees are being treated when they arrive in Malmö and what are being done to stop hiv/aids from spreading further.We became very disappointed when we realised how little that is actually being done and how poorly the collaboration between the institutions are working.

When investigating mechanical problems it is often more convenient to deal with scalars rather than vectors. In this project methods stemming from the field of analytical mechanics, which lets one derive the equations of motion using scalar quantities instead of vectors, have been used. Two mechanical problems were investigated, a double pendulum with a spring and particles orbit in a sphere. The equations of motion of the two systems were derived with the assistance of computer algebra, using Maple and the external package Sophia. The systems were investigated with regard to periodicity and conserved quantities..

The aim of this study was to investigate whether a dietary change, physical activity or a combination of both gave the best result when treating obesity, concerning weight loss and BMI. Excessive weight and obesity are today a big health-issue and it is estimated that 10 % of the men and 12 % of the women in Sweden have a BMI over 30, i.e. are suffering from obesity. The corresponding number for children is 3 %. No one can say for sure what causes obesity but there are many theories.

Do ceramics have to be static? This was the question that spurred me into this work, and what kept me working on to achieve the possibility of motion in my ceramic objects. By combining the knowledge gained through my former education as an avionics technician with my interest in the ancient ceramic craft, I strive to create kinetic ceramic handicraft suitable for interaction with an audience.By a series of different phases I slowly go from understanding what kind of motion I want my objects to have, to actually realizing this motion in three-dimensional objects. Through the use of simple models made from corrugated fiberboard followed by more advanced plaster models, combined with different complementary materials such as bicycle inner-tubing and recycled aluminium cans among many others, I, through a vast series of testing, slowly build up a knowledge base later applied to the ceramic objects.The result is for me a success; I have found a way for me to combine ceramics with mechanics. Alla människor behöver aktivera sig fysiskt och motionera på ett eller annat sätt. Men för att kunna motionera krävs det att motivation finns. Forskning har visat att motivation går att dela in i framförallt två former, det är inre motivation och yttre motivation. Den senare formen finns i fyra olika grader. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka vad som upplevdes motivera till motion hos medlemmar på Friskis & Svettis.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vad killar och tjejer, som går andra året pågymnasiet, har för attityd till Idrott och hälsa och i vilken utsträckning läraren påverkar attityder. Uppsatsen behandlar även om skolämnet Idrott och hälsa kan verka som ett verktyg för regelbunden motion. Undersökningen är genomförd på en skola där enkät och intervjuer ligger till grund för det empiriska materialet. Resultatet av studien visar att majoriteten av eleverna är positiva till ämnet samt att läraren har en stor inverkan för vilken attityd eleverna har till ämnet. Ett visst könsmönster går att urskilja när det gäller lektionsinnehållet, trots att detta inte efterfrågades av oss i enkäten.

Många faktorer har påvisats påverka individers hälsa. I denna studie undersöktes huruvida motion, Kasam och socialt stöd har betydelse för välbefinnandet i form av uppskattad hälsa, upplevd stress-energinivå och rapporterad sjukskrivning. Även köns- och ålderskillnader studerades. En enkät med frågor om sjukskrivning, motion, upplevd hälsa, upplevd stress-energi, Kasam och socialt stöd delades ut till 113 deltagare från tre olika arbetsplatser. Resultaten visade att Kasam hade positiva samband med hälsa, stress-energi och socialt stöd.
