Operation Atalanta är en EU gemensam marin operation utanför Somalias kust som syftar till att skydda Word Food Program sjötransporter från piratattacker i området. Försvarsmaktens styrkebidrag till operationen består i huvudsak av Internationella Korvettstyrkan (IKS) som innehåller korvetterna HMS Stockholm, HMS Malmö och stödfartyget HMS Trossö. Förbandet transporterades till insatsområdet med strategisk sjötransport. Att transportera svenska örlogs-fartyg på detta sätt är tämligen nytt inom marinen. Strategiska sjötransporter kräver framförhållning då sjötransportresurserna i vissa fall kan vara svårt att få tillgängliga på den tid som önskas.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka trafikbullrets betydelse för var vi väljer att bosätta oss genom att besvara frågeställningen: finns det något samband mellan trafikbullernivåer och efterfrågan på bostäder i Stockholms innerstad? Metoder som används är regressionsanalys och intervjuer. Statistik från 251 enskilda bostadsrättsförsäljningar fördelade på 12 stycken innerstadsgator i Stockholm har insamlats för 2013. Genomsnittliga kvadratmeterpriser på dessa gator har ställts mot trafikbullernivåer som Stockholm stad uppmätt 1999. Trafikbullernivåer, kvadratmeterpris och boyta är centrala variabler för denna uppsats.

The music session is conducted in a slightly altered state of consciousness with a clear focus being established beforehand in a verbal dialogue with the psychotherapist. There is also the possibility of using artwork to process and explore the imagery after the music listening.

Where you work and whom you work for has thus become the dominant factors instead of what you are working with.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how the corporate culture, the rational and emotional benefits are experienced by the employees of the company. The aim is also to examine whether the corporate culture can become a management control measure by good communication between employees within the organization.Methodology: The essay is based on a qualitative research method and empirical data were collected through interviews from the company MTR Stockholm.Theoretical Frame of reference, Edgar Schein, Three Levels of Culture, Seven dimensions.Results: The study has shown that there are different cultures within the company. But also that there is a strong corporate culture within the business, the respondents feel an affinity with working within the underground rather than working for the company MTR Stockholm..

This essay aims to examine and compare Swedish and Norwegian social work with children. It is a comparative study between two social welfare offices, in districts with similar population and problems, one located in Stockholm and one in Oslo. The main questions were; how is the work organized and carried out, what type of help and assistance is available and what kind of discretion and powers do the social workers have. In our essay we used qualitative methods mostly based on interviews, vignette questionnaires and documents, but also written research. In our analysis we used modern organisation theory and street level bureaucracy to seek explanations.The two welfare offices have similarities and differences.

The project was based on a request to improve an already existing program and hardware at the electrical engineering department at the royal institute of technology. For maximum ease of use, tests have been done on students to properly design the program for what it is meant to be used for. These tests have been transcribed and analysed, then brought back to the group in a discussion and then transcribed and analysed again, I call this process the ?four step process? (this process is presented and explained in chapter 6.4.). A part of this master thesis was also to analyse the four step process to enhance validity of this research.The project resulted in a new program with a new graphical view and features to help students and researchers to work with the technical tool for electromagnetic readings of planar objects.

The management at the City of Stockholm?s Sports Department have problems. During recent years several IT-projects have been launched but results are worse than could have been hoped for. The projects are generally perceived as being too expensive, too time consuming and not to have delivered the expected results. This thesis aims at giving the City of Stockholm?s Sports Department theoretically based advice on how to improve their management of IT-projects.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att undersöka taxibranschen efter branschens avreglering, med fokus på Taxi Stockholm 15 00 00 AB. Denna innefattar den aktuella läge för taxibranschen i Stockholm och även den nya konkurrenssituationen hos taximarknaden i Stockholm efter avregleringen 1990. Denna undersökning bygger på en kvalitativ samt en kvantitativ metod då har vi försökt att noggrant få fram fakta om branschen med hjälp av både primärdata (intervjuer) och sekundärdata (årsredovisningar, ekonomiska rapporter, akademiska artiklar, Internet källor mm.). I analysen har utförts sedan en jämförelse mellan fallföretaget Taxi Stockholm och dess huvudkonkurrenter med hjälp av valda teorier och insamlade sekundär samt primärdata. This thesis is about the idea of public transport and the discussions stirred in the media during changes in ownership. More specifically it is a study of the historical situation of Stockholm, Sweden, where the periods chosen are the 1910s, 1960s and 1990s.During the 1910s Stockholm?s first and largest tram company was taken over by thecity, and a period of public ownership began, which in the 1960s changed form whenthe county council took over the city?s principal authority and formed the politicallyadministered company SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik, Greater Stockholm LocalTransit Company). Between these periods the word kollektivtrafik (public transport)was established in the Swedish language. This study describes and compares the ideasconcerning the phenomenon of public transport.The aim of the study is to analyse the ideas, values and ideals concerning public transport in the media, defined as newspapers.

Ordningsstörande kring allsvensk fotboll, främst i Stockholm har länge varit ett problem för samhället. I samband med dessa matcher begås skadegörelse, misshandel och ordningsstörningar i hög utsträckning och en allsvensk fotbollsmatch kan kosta uppemot 600 000 kronor. Syftet med denna rapport är att belysa de skyldigheter som polisen har i fråga om den allmänna ordningen och säkerheten kring allsvenska fotbollsmatcher i Stockholm. Vidare vill vi ta reda på om polisens utbildning är tillräcklig för att de ska klara av detta på ett bra sätt. Vi valde att intervjua yttre kommissarie Anders Sigurdsson vid Operativa avdelningen i Stockholm med anledning av att han är ansvarig för planering av insatser kring allsvenska fotbollsmatcher i Stockholm.

I denna uppsats studeras placeringen av svenska filmproduktionsbolag. Eftersom majoriteten av de svenska filmproduktionsbolagen förlagt sig i Stockholm, trots att hälften av all svensk långfilm produceras i Västra Götalandsregionen, studeras de olika spatiala förutsättningarna för filmproduktionsbolag förlagda på dessa båda platser. Den övergripande frågeställningen rör varför majoriteten av svenska filmproduktionsbolag är placerade i Stockholm. Det empiriska materialet har samlats in genom intervjuer med filmproduktionsbolag, filmföretag och samproducenten Film Väst. Baserat på klusterteorier kring lokalt surr, globala pipelines och temporära kluster, har materialet analyserats.
