Enligt tidigare studier a?r upplevelsen av effektivitet under mo?ten viktigt fo?r positiva jobbattityder och just attityder och emotionella upplevelser av ett mo?te pa?verkar deltagande och da?rmed hur mo?tets ma?l uppna?s.

When creating a good lighting design it is crucial to know how different types of lamps work. Knowing what kind of light they emit and in which situations they work well is also very important. In this master thesis I present different types of lamps and give an account of how light is spread through the different shapes of luminaires, reflectors, filters and so on. I write about how our eyes register radiation and connections between lighting and how it makes us experience space. Furthermore I deal with the effect of artificial light on living organisms and the environment. After the theoretical studies I deal with the places I have visited to study how different lamps and luminaires work and look like in existing lighting designs. These visits have also been inspirational to my lighting proposal for Bokenäs. Bokenäs is Volvo?s resort and conference center which is situated on the Swedish west coast.

Denna uppsats syftar till att närmare undersöka hur flickor i 18-årsåldern förhåller sig till normativ femininitet i sociala medier, detta genom att närmare studera vilka sociala mekanismer som kan tänkas ligga bakom deras upprätthållande av stereotypa könsroller i sociala medier och vidare belysa dess potentiella efterverkningar. Tidigare forskning och den teoretiska referensramen tar sin utgångspunkt i Giddens teori om individens identitetsskapande och den reflexiva självidentiteten, och utforskas vidare i förhållande till Goffmans dramaturgiska perspektiv där fokus läggs på förändrade villkor för intrycksstyrning i form av de möjligheter till strategisk självpresentation som erbjuds i sociala meder. Vidare beaktas detta i relation till betydelsen av grupptillhörighet och social identitet genom att belysa unga tjejers situation i sociala medier utifrån traditionella interaktionistiska perspektiv på reproduktion av genus. Uppsatsen tar sin utgångspunkt i en kvalitativ metodansats och datamaterialet består av information insamlat från åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer med gymnasietjejer från två olika skolor i Stockholms län. Resultatet tyder på att olika sociala medier kan förstärka sterotypa idealbilder genom olika statusmarkörer som följer med in i det virtuella livet, samt att unga tjejer i sociala medier många gånger tycks upprätthålla en fasad, på så sätt att den ursprunliga identiteten förskönas, eller till och med ersätts av en ny ?online?-identitet.

Kra?nkande behandling och mobbning a?r ett stort problem i skolorna idag, na?got som ba?de Skolverket (2002), Myndigheten fo?r skolutveckling (2003) och barnombudsmannen Lena Nyberg (2005) har uppma?rksammat. Syftet med studien a?r, mot denna bakgrund, att underso?ka na?gra fo?ra?ldrars erfarenheter av samverkan med skolan i arbetet att fo?rhindra kra?nkande behandling och mobbning av deras egna barn. Studien syftar a?ven till att belysa fo?ra?ldrars roll som en resurs i va?rdegrundsarbetet generellt.

Infectious Bronchitis (IB) is a highly contagious viral respiratory and productiondepressant disease distributed world wide. The disease is caused by the InfectiousBronchitis Virus (IBV), a positive RNA strand Avian Coronavirus within thegenus Gammacoronavirus. Due to a combination of high mutation rate and atendency of recombination a constant emergence of new genotypes and serotypesis seen. In Brazil, a country with an extensive poultry production and majorproblems with disease control, the diversity of circulating strains are wide andoutbreaks of clinical disease despite intensive use of vaccines are common. Theaim of this study was to investigate the presence of IBV and to identify genotypesof isolated IBVs in a limited number of layer flocks in Bastos, São Paulo, as partof the screening for circulating genotypes in the country.

Jag har i denna uppsats skrivit om hur mitt arbetslag på förskolan med hjälp av aktionslärandesom metod har startat ett förändringsarbete mot ett mer genusmedvetet pedagogiskt arbetssätt.Syftet var att vi pedagoger skulle få syn på vårt agerande och bemötande gentemot flickor ochpojkar. I läroplanen står det att förskolan ska motverka traditionella könsmönster ochkönsroller. Flickor och pojkar skall i förskolan ha samma möjligheter att pröva och utvecklaförmågor och intressen utan begränsningar utifrån stereotypa könsroller. En central fråga varhur man kan bryta invanda mönster. Vi i arbetslaget har genom litteraturstudier ochhandledning fått en gemensam grund för vårt arbete.

Vi har ett samhälle och en skola som genomsyras av en strävan efter jämställdhet mellan könen. Trots styrdokumentens betoning på flickors och pojkars lika förutsättningar, tycker jag mig ha sett allt för lite av genusperspektivet i den dagliga pedagogiska verksamheten under min verksamhetsförlagda tid. I arbetet under de tidiga skolåren är mycket fokus på läsning och läskunnighet. Men vad är det då eleverna läser och vad speglar texterna utifrån vår strävan? Background: The prevalence of dementia increases both in Sweden and in the rest of the world. People with dementia often display some types of behavioral and psychological symptoms. These symptoms include, among other things, aggressiveness, inactivity, activity disturbance, anxiety, hallucinations and depression. The symptoms can create a negative impact of those with dementia, their caregivers and their next of kin. Aim: To describe the effect of non-pharmacological treatments have on the behavioral and psychological symptoms of people with dementia.

Do new, attractive neighborhoods meet the requirements of being socially sustainable? This essay is based on the potential conflicts between the pursuit of social sustainability, while the theory of the creative class influence city planning. Social sustainability is difficult to measure, but implies broadly that everyone should have equal rights and opportunities. A city or region that aims to attract a certain type of people by providing what they ask for, might pay less attention and spend less resources on the rest of the population. Socially sustainable - for whom? The new district Hyllie in southern Malmö stands in focus, and the paper seeks to identify how different operators in Malmö defines the concept of social sustainability, how it is implemented in the design of Hyllie, and if any potential conflicts may arise.Interviews with the following informants; representants from the Office for City Planning in Malmö, the nonprofit organization Sustainable Development Skåne, the Commission for a Socially Sustainable Malmö and the company Skanska Öresund have constituted the main methodology, among with reading and analyzing existing documents and policies relating to the development of Hyllie.

The main aim of this study is to determine whether the monastery in Ny Varberg has been used as a hospital during its active years. The second aim has been to investigate weather the buried individuals at the monastery at Ny Varberg exclusively are deceased monks. Only individuals from the monastery's active years has been included in this study. A total of 16 inhumated individuals was analysed. Both men, women and children was shown to be present, as well as wide spread of children and adults.

In total 249 horses surgically treated for colic in Sweden during 2002 until 2005 were studied. The horses was identified by the animal insurance company Agria. Survival was studied with respect to age, gender, breed, diagnosis (small intestinal problems, caecal problems, large intestinal problems, incarceration in nephrosplenic ligament, unspecific colic and other colic problems) and treating hospital. Different survivals were calculated. For short-term survival proportions was used and for long-term it was done using Kaplan-Meier technique and log-rank testing.

Summary                                                               Overweight and obesity in Sweden and in the rest of the industrialized world continues to increase. This results in increased costs both to society and the healthcare system. Part of this development is the increasing consumption of sugar and that is what should be restricted to tackle this growing social problem. Part of the increased consumption of sugar in Sweden was the launch of pick and mix ingrocery stores.  This study aims to examine how store managers look at their public health responsibilities, and investigate how managers of grocery stores think about health and health aspects in general and about the sugar consumption in particular. Semi-structured "face to face" interviews was used to collect data and seven grocery store managers participated in the study.

Due Diligence is today an important part of the transaction process through sales of properties and isan important process for both sellers and buyers. The process intends to review an asset before atransaction to minimize the risks associated with the acquisition by detecting weaknesses and verifythe asset's characteristics. The use of Due Diligence has become increasingly common over the pasttwenty years in the Swedish real estate market and there is no indication that this trend will decreasebut rather increase. Although there is widespread use of the process both in acquisitions ofcorporations and properties, both in Sweden and in the rest of the world, it is costly for thepurchasers and the concept is far from fully developed.This thesis aims to clarify what the real estate market thinks about the potential development of theprocess itself and the role of the actors. The main question is what opportunities exist to develop theconcept of Due Diligence in real estate transactions.
