Detta är en uppsats där normer och värderingar om vårdbiträdet i hemtjänst undersöks genom kritisk diskursanalys. Datamaterial omfattar SOU-rapporten I den äldres tjänst. Äldreassistenten ? ett framtidsyrke samt två fokusgruppsintervjuer med omsorgspersonal från en hemtjänstenhet. Diskursanalysen utförs i förhållande till och i samspel med sekundärlitteraturen.

Bakgrund och problem: Självbestämmanderätt är en grundprincip i socialtjänstlagen och ska genomsyra allt socialt arbete. Socialtjänstlagen gör ingen skillnad på friska eller sjuka människor, vilket kan skapa dilemman för biståndshandläggare vid behovsbedömning.Syfte och frågeställningar: Studiens syfte är att uppnå en förståelse kring hur bistånds-handläggare arbetar med självbestämmanderätt och inflytande vid behovsbedömning.Studiens frågeställningar är följande:Hur ser biståndshandläggare på äldres självbestämmanderätt när det finns en bristande insikt i de egna behoven?Hur hanterar biståndshandläggare anhörigas inflytande?Metod: Studien är influerad av en kvalitativ och kvantitativ metodblandning och består av en vinjett besvarad av 24 biståndshandläggare, samtliga arbetande utifrån socialtjänstlagen inriktat mot äldreomsorg. Det insamlade empirimaterialet från biståndshandläggarna har bearbetats genom en tematisk analys.Resultat och slutsatser: Resultatet visar att biståndshandläggare menar att den äldre har självbestämmanderätt trots bristande insikt i sina egna behov. Biståndshandläggarnas utsagor visar att den moraliska aspekten att göra gott för den äldre väger tyngre än dennes självbestämmanderätt.

The objective of this thesis was to examine and analyse how various directors within old-age care, the resident-coordinator, nursing-staff, and the dementia-team apprehend the organisation of dementia nursing homes in the municipality. Our questions were the following:How important is it that the care-receivers are examined and diagnosed?Do the respondents experience difficulties with non-differentiated dementia nursing homes?Which are the advantages and disadvantages for care receivers/patients and nursing-staff if dementia care homes are differentiated according to the care-receivers dementia diagnosis and phase of illness?Are there alternative solutions to the way the municipality organise the residence for carereceivers today that might improve the situation for care-receivers/patients and nursing-staff?How does cooperation or the lack of it mint the conditions for care in dementia nursing homes?Which goals does the municipality have for the organisation of dementia care?Our approach was a qualitative method consisting of interviews to answer the objective of this thesis and our questions. Our findings are supported by a sociological analysis of organisations. Our findings show that there is a conflict of interest between the principle of permanent residence which imply that the care-receiver should not have to move against her or his will and between the use of differentiated dementia nursing homes.

Spelbaserat la?rande a?r en la?randeform som spa?s fa? en allt sto?rre roll inom undervisning inom de kommande a?ren, men forskningen tillhandaha?ller fa? studier av hur digitala spel kan anva?ndas i undervisning.

Ett av syftena med studien var att undersöka skillnader i Ingenjörsstuderande respektive Anställdas uppfattning om Lantmäteriets image som arbetsgivare. Det andra syftet med studien var att se om det förelåg skillnader i uppfattning av en Ideal arbetsgivares image och Lantmäteriets image som arbetsgivare. Studien genomfördes med stöd av en enkätundersökning med Ingenjörsstuderande och Anställda vid Lantmäteriakademin som deltagare. Totalt deltog 102 personer i studien; 55 Ingenjörsstuderande och 47 Anställda. Mätinstrumentet var Employer Attractiveness Scale (EmpAt).

This paper studies, from a client perspective, how three Swedish municipalities work with information about a voucher system in homecare. The paper is a qualitative study using structured informant interviews and analysis of documents. The interviewees are responsible of information about the voucher system in the municipalities. The studied documents describe and clarify the voucher system of the municipality. Neo-institutional organization theory is used to analyse the result.

Denna uppsats syftar till att analysera den klassiska, den objektiva och den subjektivaförsoningsläran och se hur dessa förhåller sig till den pluralistiska och inklusivistiskareligionssynen. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka huruvida synen på Jesus som vägen till frälsning ide tre försoningslärorna förändras om samma försoningslära ställs emot pluralismen respektiveinklusivismen. I en koherensanalys undersöks huruvida någon av försoningslärorna inte är koherentmed pluralismen eller inklusivismen. Genom denna undersökning följer resultatet attsanningsbegreppet inte används på samma sätt i de olika religionssynerna och försoningslärornavilket leder till problem främst mellan den klassiska respektive den objektiva försoningsläran ochpluralismen. Det framkommer även att en viss form av pluralism - den restriktiva - är mer koherentmed försoningslärorna än andra former.

This thesis focuses on the construction of drystone walls in the county of Sm?land, as well as their historical value and significance to the county. In Riksantikvarie?mbetets Plattform Kulturhistorisk v?rdering och urval, a directory for historical evaluations of buildings and objects, the first clause is to describe the object and its history. When trying to do this, the lack of literature focusing on the constructional elements of drystone walls and their history became an issue and is what prompted the writing of this thesis. With a study of different handbooks, a compilation of the constructional elements of the walls were put together.

A qualitative interview studyon how special senior housing affects the experience of well-being of elderly deaf [translated title]The purpose of the study was to examine how elderly deaf people experience living in aspecial senior housing, which is the country?s first and only housing with sign language fordeaf and deafblind in the region of Stockholm. The focus was to study how this seniorhousing affected the well-being of the residents and their experience of this accommodation.The study was based on a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews. Interviews wereconducted with four residents who have lived in the senior housing for deaf and deafblindpeople since it opened in spring 2013.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to investigate the reading habits of six men who do not read fiction. The reason for my interest is the fact that men statistically read less fiction than women, and that there are few existing studies of this subject. The study investigates why these men do not read fiction, their attitudes towards literature, their reading habits, their leisure-time interests and if they experience fiction from other activities. Furthermore the study includes a discussion of whether or not there might be a connection between the men?s reading habits and their identity as men, as well as a discussion of all of the above in relation to their social background.

Kritik riktades bland annat gentemot IFRS regelverk och da? framfo?rallt va?rdering till verkligt va?rde som enligt vissa hade bidragit till krisens omfattning. Kritiken bestod fra?mst i att redovisningsmetoden till stor del bygger pa? subjektiva bedo?mningar av tillga?ngar som a?r sva?ra att verifiera fo?r utomsta?ende intressenter.

Med hänvisning till hur fine dining restauranger i Sverige idag läggs ned alternativt byter koncept föreföll det relevant att undersöka vilka betydelsefulla faktorer som avgör huruvida ett fine dining koncept blir konkurrenskraftigt. Med hänvisning till detta formulerades syftet att identifiera betydelsefulla faktorer som bidrar till ett konkurrenskraftigt fine dining koncept. Med kvalitativ ansats och ett induktivt förhållningssätt har vi undersökt detta problem med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Studien har under hela processen utgått från FAMMs fem aspekter, rummet, mötet, produkten, atmosfären samt styrsystemet och modellen har använts för att analysera insamlad empiri samt strukturera resultatet. Studien har påvisat flertalet faktorer som bidrar till ett konkurrenskraftigt fine dining koncept.

This paper aims to examine how the construction of women with foreign background is visible in the Swedish debate on elder care and ethnicity. The subject is interesting with regard to the existing discriminating conceptions about ethnicity and how the living conditions of immigrant women are med scarce in the Swedish research field. It is also a relevant topic in light of the incipient crisis of the Swedish eldery care. The examining of how several axes of power interplay to construct the women is rendered possible through an intersectional perspective. This requires of the study to relate to the concept of category, and in this paper I have chosen an intercategorical approach.
