Digital långtidslagring är problematisk på grund av att digitala medier har relativt kort fysisk livslängd och ännu kortare teknisk livslängd. Denna uppsats handlar om hur ett antal arkiv i Lund hanterar denna problematik. Syftet med uppsatsen är att ge insyn i hur arkiv i praxis ställer sig till, och hanterar långsiktig digital bevaring. Vårt mål är att uppsatsen skall bidra med både information om praktisk användning av hanteringsstrategier för långsiktig digital bevaring, samt bidra med en bild om hur situationen ser ut för dem undersökta arkiven. Uppsatsen grundas på en kvalitativ undersökning av arkiven där semistrukturerade intervjuer används för att skapa en bild av arkivens situation när det gäller digital långtidslagring samt hur de hanterar problematiken.

 Every day media reports acts of violence in various kinds. Crime Statistics shows that threats and violence are increasing in regard to both frequency and intensity within the nation. Nurses in the ambulance service are often the first to meet with a patient, therefore these nurses often find themselves in situations where violence and threats occur or have occurred. Drug addiction or some kind of illness are often reasons behind threats and violence.Earlier studies within this area of knowledge are mostly foreign and therefore little describes Swedish nurses` experiences of threats and violence within the ambulance service.The purpose of this study was to describe nurses experiences of threats and violence in the meeting with patients within the ambulance service.The study is a qualitative interview study performed within the School of Life Sciences at the University of Skövde. Six nurses were interviewed with the criterion that they should have experienced threats and violence within their occupation.

Unhealthiness is not just a damaged back or asbestos. The fact that mental ill-health seems to increase in our society is well known. Statistics from Arbetsmiljöverket proves a fourfold increase of work-related disorders since 1997. These are primarily caused by organizational and social factors, 60% are considered caused by stress and a heavy workload. Sick leave due work related fatigue and depressions are scarily common today.

Många av de aktiva debatterna handlar om hur SOA bidrar till att öka organisationernas flexibilitet och känslighet för förändring, något som historiskt har varit svårt att uppnå. Men hur många kan påstå sig veta vad SOA egentligen är? Termen har blivit ett så kallat ?buzzword?, dvs.

The purpose of this study is to find out the viability in performing final felling in stands with high timber volume or if it´s more profitable to leave these stands to the next owner. Will he or she pay more for the standing stock then the industry? The prices of forest-land have increased significantly over the last couple of years in Sweden and some properties seem to go higher than others. Is this because of higher standing stock volume or can a certain volume/hectare bring a higher price? Maybe a combination of both? This study is based on the the sale-Statistics for 2012 from real-estate agency Areal.

The construction industry is often criticized to be an industry of narrowness and slow of change. The traditional construction process is considered to create gasps of inferior quality, delays and increase of disputes. Meanwhile, productivity is lower compared to other industries and the prices are increasing. In this debate, it has been assumed that the reported figures are monitoring a reflection of reality, but there might be an error in the Statistics which suggests that the focus is at the wrong place. A study of the monitoring and the measurements of the results are to consider, instead of spending time and resources on issues and actions The Last Planner System is an executive planning tool which creates a predictable workflow and creating value throughout all the different stages.

This examination studies the gender balance of contemporary art exhibitions in Sweden. To what extent genders are equally represented assumes to be based on how the curating process considers equality work. Three categories of art organisations are studied with the intention to determine differences in equality approach between the categories. Official documents of each organisation are examined to understand how they formally relate to equality work. Statistics of the actual gender balance of each organisation are produced based on the last two years exhibition archives.

Användarinvolverade förfaringssätt i systemutvecklingsprocesser har funnits i några decennier, men de har inte fått fullständig acceptans av alla systemutvecklingsföretag på marknaden. Orsakerna till detta är flera, till exempel bristande kunskap om begreppet eller att företags affärsidé inte stödjer arbetssättet. Det finns en hel del litteratur som förespråkar arbetssättet, men den tar främst upp möjligheter och problem som användare kan ställas inför. Vi anser därför att det finns en avsaknad av systemutvecklares uppfattningar i litteraturen, och vi vill med vårt kandidatarbete belysa hur systemutvecklare ser på tillämpning av användarinvolvering inom systemutveckling. I detta arbete har vi genomfört en undersökning av kvalitativ karaktär där systemutvecklare som ansåg sig arbeta på ett användarinvolverat sätt intervjuades med semistrukturerade frågor som framarbetades ur den insamlade litteraturen.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att fastställa utifrån ett konsultperspektiv vilka kritiska framgångsfaktorer som konsultbolagen har möjlighet att påverka vid en implementering av ett affärssystem. Valet att se KFF ur ett konsultperspektiv baserar sig på en saknad av forskning inom området på det vis att tidigare gjorda studier inte riktat sig mot denna grupp. Genom intervjuer med representanter från konsultbolag har vi fastställt ett antal framgångsfaktorer som är kritiska vid en affärssystemimplementering. Intervjuerna syftade också till att undersöka hur konsultbolagen kan påverka dessa faktorer gentemot kunden för att se vilka framgångsfaktorer som konsulten ansvarar för. Genom studien har vi identiferat ett antal framgångsfaktorer som utifrån ett konsultperspektiv anses vara av kritisk karaktär, nämligen: branschkunskap & branscherfarenhet, mål & ambitionsnivå, väl genomförd förstudie, effektiv styrgrupp, träning & utbildning, avsättning av resurser, stöd från ledningsgrupp, kommunikation, support och avsättning av resurser.

The retail banks are usually looked upon as conservative. Since the launch of internet banks in the 90's they have not developed much. Meanwhile the internet is developing in a fast pace and social websites are increasing in popularity. The purpose of this essay was to investigate how internet banking will develop in the near future based on interviews, literature and trend studies. With web 2.0 techniques the internet bank could develop to help the costumers take more informed decisions regarding their economic situation.

Abstract:Background: Socialstyrelsen Statistics show that breastfeeding continues to decline. Previous research some mother experiencing breastfeeding difficulties and their lack of knowledge and understanding of breastfeeding. Support to mothers varies depending on their individual needs. Factors affecting the choice are the support of health care nurses and the social network. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe health care nurse experiences of giving support to mother who are breastfeeding.

Two elementary schools are now being built in Gråbo (in the municipality of Lerum),Röselidsskolan and Ljungviksskolan, which are both designed with solar thermalcollectors for the schools domestic water heating. During the summer while thelargest amount of solar heat can be generated, the activity hence the domestic wateruse in the schools are heavily reduced. Both schools are connected to the local districtheating system which makes it possible to use the solar collectors to deliver heat tothe district heating.The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the two systems mentioned above and todetermine which system is more suitable to apply on a school. The building whichconditions were used for this evaluation is Röselidsskolan.A solar heating plant of each system type was dimensioned from the expected andknown conditions of the building. The purpose with the dimensioning was to makethe solar plants replace the ordinary energy source as much as possible.

The organized and controlled form of collecting consumption taxes and toll from the import and export trade goes back to the 17th century in Sweden. The customs administration and procedure were regulated by royal announcements, and the majority of the documents found in the customs archives represent thus records stipulated by such notifications. The customs archives can be used for research on several levels; the announcements reflect currents within both the domestic and foreign politics, while the account lists for financial Statistics portray the extent of the trade. The various lists of compilation can be further used to follow for instance the development of different units of measurement, the expansion of tax rates, the value of trade goods or the changes in monetary units or systems. The diaries, architectural plans of the customs offices and maps of the toll areas place the customs officials and their work within the local scenery.The thesis focuses on archives deriving from customs located at harbors and on the Swedish-Norwegian border in the county of Dalarna.

Storleken på informationsmängderna i vad som finns tillgänglig på Internet idag gör att söktjänster närmast är en nödvändighet för informationsökning. Ibland kan det upplevas att det är svårt att hitta begärd information hos söktjänster utan att få fram en mängd oönskade sidor, så att man måste hitta relevant information bland dem och filtrera bort irrelevant information. Ett problem för många söktjänster är hur de ska kunna ta hänsyn till användarnas individuella informationsbehov och därigenom skapa förutsättningar för effektivare sökprocesser. Denna magisteruppsats handlar om användarnas upplevelser av informationssökning på Internet. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka den problematik som finns när man söker information med hjälp av söktjänster på webben, användarnas syn på olika söktjänster och att även få fram förbättringsförslag.

Aim: To describe perceptions about written and verbal information regarding diet and physical activity in women with breast cancer and to study possible differences between ages and perception. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted and consisted of 57 women with breast cancer stages I-III who started adjuvant chemotherapy within a year (2007-2008). A questionnaire, regarding their perceptions about the written and verbal information they had received about diet and physical activity, was responded to three months following treatment completion. Between 67-93 % of the participants responded to the questions. The answers was analyzed with descriptive Statistics and Mann Whitney U-test.
