The perspective is a democracy perspective and the theory is institutional theory and policy process theory.A selection of citizens? proposals that have arrived to Karlstad municipal between 2008 and 2010 have been studied in detail to analyze how the proposals have been administered and if it matters how the proposals are phrased.

This is a study to see the relationship between earnings per share and dividends during a period of both boom and depression. The study will focus on companies listed on Stockholm stock exchange and see if they follow theories from the past and if the dividend is smooth over times with a fluctuant economy. To see this we had this problem:Is it a relationship between earnings per share and dividend during a fluctuant economy, also if there is a difference between the different Caps on Stockholm stock exchange?We studied 163 stocks of the 293 listed stock on Stockholm stock exchange during a period of 8 years. The study is focused on the time period between year 2005 and year 2012.

Voltage sag indices are a way of quantifying the performance of the power supply, as far as voltage sags are concerned. Indices can be defined for individual events, for individual sites, and for a whole system. A standard method for single-event methods is part of IEC standard 61000-4-30.This thesis emphasizes the importance of voltage sag indices and different methods for calculating three-phase voltage sag characteristics. Three-phase events measured in a medium network voltage over period of one month were analyzed, results examined and statistically evaluated. An algorithm for calculating voltage sag characteristics and indices was created in Matlab.

Distansutbildning har snabbt vuxit fram under den senaste tiden och blivit ett mycket aktuellt område inom utbildningsväsendet. De tre huvudsakliga faktorerna som driver på satsningarna inom distansutbildningen är förhoppningarna om ökad tillgänglighet, ökad kvalitet och minskade kostnader. För att kunskapsspridningen ska fungera bra i distansutbildningen behövs att IT- systemet, som ska fungera som stöd till att kommunikationen mellan de olika aktörerna, fungerar effektivt. I denna uppsats analyserar vi hur de IT-stöd, som används, fungerar som kommunikationsverktyg vid kunskapsspridning. Hur uppfattar användarna att det IT-system, som de använder i sin distansundervisning, hjälper dem i kommunikation med varandra och hur det fungerar som hjälpmedel vid kunskapsspridningen.

The purpose with our study was to see if and how the amount of articles regarding different sports has changed during the last three decades. If it had changed our target was to se how and why it had changed. We have performed a quantitative content analysis. In the analysis we have studied the two national Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet. In doing so we have created two synthetic weeks in each of the years 1986, 1999 and 2012.

I denna studie har vi ur ett intressentperspektiv undersökt vem som tjänar på offentliga e-tjänster. Syftet med studien var att tydliggöra olika intressenters nytta av offentliga e-tjänster och visa på den påverkan som dessa har för olika intressenter. Detta gjordes med hjälp av en kvalitativ studie, som främst bestod av intervjuer med intressenter för barnomsorgse-tjänster i Simrishamns kommun. Nyttan för dessa intressentgrupper undersöktes utifrån de fyra perspektiven; mänskliga resurser, informationsutbyte, arbetsflöde för informationshantering och produktivitet, grundade i vårt ramverk för effektivitetsmätning. Resultatet från studien visade att nyttan av offentliga e-tjänster, som kan bestå av dels medborgarnytta och dels verksamhetsnytta, skapas av de tre faktorerna hög användningsgrad, bra samarbete och tillförlitlighet.

På Linköpings universitet använder man sig sällan av versionshanteringssystem i kurser. Istället sparas till exempel programmeringslabbar på enskilda personers UNIX konton. Detta leder till problem både när man programmerar i grupp men också om någonting skulle gå snett. Labhandledaren har också mycket sämre vetskap om hur specifika gruppers arbeten framskrider och många grupper kan få hjälp för sent på grund av detta. Troligtvis kommer versionshanteringssystem användas mycket mer i framtiden.Att läsa versionsloggar för att följa upp grupper är ett osmidigt och tidskrävande jobb och ger dålig överblick.

I denna komparativa studie av användbarhet undersöktes telefonerna Sony Ericsson T630, Simens S65 och Nokia 6230 för att kunna se vilka felassociationer deras respektive gränssnitt ger upphov till. Studien är gjord därför att jag fann de metoder för att studera gränssnitt i mobiltelefoner jag kommit i kontakt med fokuserade alltför mycket på effektivitetsaspekten av användbarhet. Metoderna var inriktade på vana användare och för studier av människor med relativt liten erfarenhet var de obrukbara. Under arbetet har en ny metod för studier av denna typ tagits fram med fokus på ändamålsenlighets-aspekten av ISO 9241-11. Jag har undersökt hur väl sju medelålders personer klarat av de olika gränssnitten och kartlagt deras tidigare mobiltelefonvanor.

In this thesis the survival and development of a yearly recurring event will be examined. The purpose of this work is to examine how the festival Stockholm Pride has developed and to find out what underlying factors and conditions that lays behind the development. Also being examined is how the event affects Stockholm city?s tourism industry. To be able to fulfill the purpose of the thesis a qualitative research has been used and two persons with allot of knowledge about Stockholm Pride and Stockholm?s tourism industry has been interviewed.

This is a Bachelor?s degree project withthe aim of investigating how to preventwarranty errors in apartment buildings.Our goal has been to compile the mostcommon warranty errors and the reasonbehind them.To achieve this goal, we have studiedthe warranty protocols from fiveprojects. We also performed interviewswith people who work in house productionand people who work with warranties. Thepurpose of the interviews was to findout the underlying causes of warrantyerrors and what one could do to preventthose.Cracks in walls and ceilings were themost frequent remarks on the warrantyprotocols. Remarks on the floors,windows and doors were also common, butnot to the same extent.

This master thesis has been carried out at Scania R&D at the department of Powertrain Control System Development during the winter 2011/2012. The purpose of the thesis was to produce a method that with the result of troubles codes from the field testing would be able to say something about the maturation of a component, in this case the VGT, variable geometry turbocharger. To start with, it was necessary to investigate hich information was available. After the information been summed up in tables and charts, this so that it was possible to understand the huge amount of data, the calculations started.Since the thesis was about maturation of a component the proportions were calculated of components that had a trouble code in contrast of those who passed the test without a trouble code. This Thesis includes background information about basic of Statistics and about the company Scania and its testing process.

I denna uppsats har vi undersökt ett produktutvecklande IT-företag med rötter från konsultbranschen. Syftet med uppsatsen var att se hur ett produktutvecklande IT-företag skiljer sig från ett konsultföretag. Vi har även undersökt hur det produktutvecklande företagets rötter från konsultbranschen påverkar arbetet med produktutvecklingen. Vi undersökte detta genom att på ett IT-företag göra en kvalitativ studie som främst bestod av intervjuer. Med hjälp av teorier har vi undersökt företaget inom fyra olika områden: företagets systemutvecklingsarbete, skillnader mellan tjänster och produkter, organisationens utveckling och företagets interorganisatoriska nätverk.
