Gender, age at the time of the award, whether they won individually or in groups, their employer at the time of the award, subject of the winning material and where it was first published, were the variables. A total of 268 award winners were characterized from these variables and a statistic analysis were made.The statistic analysis showed that there has been a dominant group among the award winners.Between the years of 1966-2014 the typical award winner was a man between 31-40 years old, who worked individually for public service. The winning material was mainly published in the printed press.

Sports research in the field of social science has shown that regular physical activity leads to wellbeing and positively affects the quality of life. A natural part of being an athlete is learning the functions of the human body, and what?s harmful and destructive, such as drugs (RF 1995). Doping is a constant problem in professional sport. Doping and manipulation of medical preparations in order to maximise performance is one of modern sport?s major problems, according to Blom and Lindroth (1995).I thought it would be interesting to see what the next generation of athletes thinks of doping.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur produktionsprocessen av bloggar ser ut i relation till produktion av mer traditionella medieprodukter. Den huvudsakliga frågeställningen lyder: Hur ser produktionsprocessen ut för bloggar under redaktionell flagg? Vidare har vi även jobbat med följande delfrågor: Vad är redaktionens skäl till att införa bloggar på hemsidan? Vilka eventuella fördelar och/eller nackdelar finns med bloggar under redaktionell flagg? Under vilka villkor produceras bloggarna? Hur ser redaktionen på formatet bloggar i framtiden och dess utveckling? Metoden vi använder oss av i denna studie är personliga intervjuer och det empiriska materialet består av intervjuer med personer på den undersökta tidningsredaktionen, vilket inkluderar två skribenter, en webbchef samt en annonsansvarig. Materialet har sedan behandlats i relation till följande teoretiska utgångspunkter: Medievärlden i stort och dess förändringar med utgångspunkt i nya medier, nyheter och journalistik på Internet och dess produktionsprocesser samt teorier om bloggar och dess roll inom journalistiken.Studien har visat att bloggar är ett sätt för redaktionen att följa med i den teknologiska utvecklingen på ett naturligt och avslappnat sätt. Bloggen som format erbjuder många fördelar, bland annat lyfts läsarkontakten fram som en positiv aspekt.

Background: Today when leisure time is spent, spontaneous sports activities decrease, due to a more comfortable way of living and physical capacity among non active adolescents decreases. There for it´s interesting to see how the physical capacity level has changed over time among young people participating in organized leisure time sports.Studies around the world show that young people standing outside organized sport activities have tended to decrease their physical activity levels over the last few decades. Less leisure time is spent doing physical activity and sometimes gets put into context with increased time spent behind the computer or inactivity.Design: A retrospective study of the test results on physical capacity between 1982 and 2009 for students applying to Växjö track and field high school. A total of 635 students (15 years old) have done 11 physical tests during the years. Five of these tests, with enough participants (at least 100) and documentation over at least 10 years, were used in this study.Results: This study shows that young track and field athletes have maintained the same physical capacity from 1982 to 2009.

Horseracing is frequently referred to as the engine behind all horse activity in Sweden and it can be divided in to two main branches: harness racing and thoroughbred racing (HNS, 2008). Jump racing is a part of the thoroughbred racing and the jump racing is characterised by jumps on the racing track. Jump racing has been a part of the Swedish horseracing for over hundred years, but it has in recent years suffered from low economic profitability and been threatened by discontinuance (ATG & SG, 2008). Denna studie undersöker vilken typ av litteratur som 9 pojkar i årskurs 5 väljer att läsa. Dessutom granskas i studien vilket intresse som finns bland dessa pojkar gällande läsning. Studien är kvalitativ och bygger på semistrukturerade intervjuer som gjorts med pojkar från 2 olika klasser på samma skola. Fokus har legat på pojkarnas egna tankar och åsikter utifrån deras perspektiv. I litteraturdelen presenteras litteratur som behandlar pojkars läspreferenser.Övergripande kan sägas att pojkar har ett bristande läsintresse och de läser litteratur som främst utspelar sig utanför sin egen verklighet.

The purpose of the study is to expose how the US newspaper New York Times and the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter mediate the war in Afghanistan. Furthermore a comparison is done to map out possible differences and similarities. To fulfill the purpose of the study a critical discourse analysis has been used. The results have shown both differences and similarities between the newspapers. This essay examines how the conflict in Libya in 2011 was reported by the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter and the American newspaper The New York Times. The purpose is to examine how the conflict is portrayed and what similarities and differences that exist between the two newspapers. We have used a quantitative content analysis and critical discourse analysis to get our results. In conclusion, both newspapers polarize the conflict to a large extent, resulting in a one-sided and biased account. The purpose of this essay is to perform a comparative study of first a pedagogical/rhetorical and then a therapeutic method, to help students overcome their speech anxiety. My choice stayed at focusing on the academic world and the benefits offered to mainly students. I have chosen two institutions with long experience of work with speech anxiety: Instutionen of Swedish, rhetoric and journalism at Södertörns Högskola and Student Health at Uppsala University. SammanfattningBakgrund: Stretching har använts i många år inom sport och rehabilitering med målet att minska risken för muskelskador, bland annat skador i kombination med kort hamstrings. Flera olika stretchingmetoder används för att uppnå ökad rörlighet. Tre av dessa är; 1) Statisk stretching, 2) Dynamisk stretching, 3) Proprioceptiv neuromuskulär facilitering (PNF).Syfte: Syftet med den här litteraturstudien var att jämföra och undersöka tre olika stretchingmetoder (statisk, dynamisk och PNF stretching) för att se vilken som är mest effektiv för att öka rörligheten i hamstringsmuskulaturen.Metod: Sökning av artiklar gjordes i databaserna Pubmed, Sport Discus, samt Science Direct. Sökorden som användes var static stretching, dynamic stretching, pnf, flexibility samt range of motion. Totalt inkluderades till slut 26 artiklar i den här litteraturöversikten som dels överensstämde med inklusionskriterierna och som dessutom var tillgängliga gratis och i fulltext.Resultat: De flesta studierna var gjorda på unga vuxna mellan 16 och 35 år.

I got a request from Eleiko Sport AB regarding them needing help with trying to improve one of their products. The following examination project includes the principal- and primary construction reports within trying to make some improvements and optimizations on a stand for Kettle bells. I have in this project both made my own proposals to the stands legs, proposals on how to strengthen the shelf and also made an optimization of the original Kettle bell-stand.
