The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reasons a religious minority leader has to convert to a larger religious group and how the leader chooses to communicate this event in certain daily press. In March 2014 the leader and founder of the Christian and charismatic movement ?Livets Ord? (Words of Life), Ulf Ekman, announced his decision converting to the Roman Catholic Church after a 10 year long process of thinking. The communications of Ekman?s linguistic language in the articles are discussed through two discourse analyzing perspective, Laclau & Mouffe?s and Fairclough?s.

For years the northern parts of Sweden, Norrland (translated: North land) has been considered mystified and exotified by the southern, more urban parts of the country. The rural Norrland ? though 60 percent of Sweden ? is seldom a part of the common conversation, meaning that most of the people living in the southern parts simply have no idea what is happening in the north. The one million people living in Norrland, on the other hand, every day gets to know what happens in the south on the evening news. The question about this possible structural relation between the urban and the rural became a large matter of cultural debate in the spring of 2015, If this thesis is true, we have a problem on our hands; can the national news be considered national if half the country is misrepresented? That question is what this essay is trying to find out by analyzing two of Swedens largest national newspapers.

Studies with a caffeine intake > 5 mg/kg body weight, which participants performed dynamic strength exercises on a weight > 60% of their 1 RM.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the library discourses concerning the phenomenon and concept of digital libraries in Swedish library press 1980-2002. What changes can be identified? The questions are: what is said about the conditions for the phenomenon; how is the concept of digital libraries used; who makes these statements; what are the relations between these discussions and the library context in which they are made? Five Swedish library journals, BBL/Biblioteksbladet, DIK-forum, Human IT, Svensk biblioteksforskning and Tidskrift för dokumentation, were examined. The method used was discourse analysis. The theoretical starting-point was Foucaults discourse theory.

This study aims to examine the argumentation regarding freedom of speech and the statement ?je suis Charlie? (?I am Charlie?) in eight opinion articles from different Swedish web magazines. Two doctotral dissertations who?s main topics are the freedom of speech and different types of arguments regarding freedom of speach, was used in this study. The study also uses the actual Swedish law surrounding the freedom of speech, as well as the freedom of the press and breaches of these laws.

Den arbetsterapeutiska teorimodellen ValMO belyser att om en aktivitet i vardagen s?tter h?g press och tar upp mycket tid kan det bidra till en obalans mellan andra delar i vardagen.

Denna D-uppsats kommer att handla om Skuggan i ett förändringsarbete. I min C-uppsats 2005, var grundhypotesen att stora förändringar där individer och grupper av människor som upplever krav, press och tryck, lätt kan utveckla defensiva rutiner, och på så sätt hindra arbetsgrupper från att bli effektiva och innovativa. I den uppsatsen intervjuades två chefer om deras upplevelser av ett stort förändringsarbete inom en sjukvårdsförvaltning. Informanterna upplevde att det förekom revirtänkande mellan grupperna, och detta skapade problem mellan olika yrkesgrupper och enheter. Besvikelse, oklara beslut, revirtänkande, och frånvaro av gemensamma rutiner för samarbete, präglade starkt sammanslagningen och skapade barriärer och hinder för den nya verksamheten.Intresset att undersöka personalens upplevelse av sammanslagningen och dess effekter har varit ett naturligt val för denna uppsats på D-nivå.

The Swedish foreign minister Anna Lindh was murdered on September 10 2003. The police pursuit for the man that murdered her was initiated immediately. Two weeks later, the police arrested the 24-year-old man that six month later would be sentenced to imprisonment for life for the murder of Anna Lindh. The main purpose of this essay is to examine how the man that murdered Anna Lindh was described in Aftonbladet and Expressen from the time of his arrest to the sentence of guilty. One part of the purpose of this essay is also to inquire how the Swedish evening press paid regard to the ethical publicity rules in their descriptions.

I den här studien undersöker vi hur sportjournalister hanterar lagsympatier i sin yrkesroll och hur den oskrivna regeln ?no cheering in the press box? följs i praktiken. Vi har genomfört 17 kvalitativa samtalsintervjuer med sportjournalister som bevakar fotboll och ishockey från rikstäckande medier i Stockholm. 14 av respondenterna säger sig hålla på lag. Dessa lag sträcker sig från division 4 i Sverige till topplag i olika delar av världen.

Ett samarbete med föräldrarna är en viktig del i arbetet som lärare. Har inte läraren föräldrarna med sig, kan det försvåra kunskapsuppdraget som hör till professionen. I skolans styrdokument står det att ett samarbete med hemmet skall finnas. Dessutom har forskning visat att en god föräldrasamverkan är en förutsättning för att få eleverna att lyckas med skolan. Reformer under de senaste åren har gett skolsystemet nya spelregler, däribland införandet av de fristående skolorna och föräldrarnas frihet att välja skola till sina barn.Jag har gjort en undersökning, med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med lärare från några kommunala och fristående skolor, för att försöka få fram hur de samarbetar med föräldrarna.

Utvecklingen innefattade programmering av PLC med HMI och frekvensomvandlare för att driva systemet. Madrasstestarens är menad att testa madrasser/sängar för att säkerställa att de är godkända för försäljning genom att en press trycker med varierat tryck på madrassen. The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine how The Trilogy of Pippi Longstocking, written by the author Astrid Lindgren, has been received by the critics in the Swedish daily press. A second aim is to examine how the critics could be of importance for the consecration of Pippi as a literary character. The study is mainly based on reviews from the daily press with nationwide coverage. The theoretical framework consists of the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu?s theories of the literary field, and the method of the reviews is a qualitative text analysis.

This essay concerns the possible tabloidization of Swedish daily newspapers. To investigate if tabloidization theory could be supported, a case-study is made using the isolated crisis of an especially big forest-fire in the county of Västmanland in Sweden in the summer of 2014. One local paper of the daily press, Vestmanlands Läns Tidning and one tabloid-paper with a national spread, Aftonbladet, are compared using quantitative content analysis to see whether there are similarities or differences enough to support or reject that the daily press is under influence of tabloidization. The results of the two papers news coverage of the fire are compared in three main categories; Theme, Source and Value-words. These categories represent three of tabloidization?s main criteria; ?soft news?, personification of sources and more use of words that connote strong values as signs of a lower quality in journalism.
