We came in contact with the project "Grönplan Danderyd" that aims to create a green structure plan for a municipality of Stockholm called Danderyds kommun. Our thesis is a part of this project and makes it's contribution through the gathering and systematization of the knowledge of the functions of an urban green structure. It also makes a contribution through suggesting how this knowledge can be applied during the construction of an urban green structure plan. We found that "Stadens parker och natur", published by the Swedish National board of Housing, Building and Planning, was a recurrent source of information in the green structure plans that we studied. We saw a need of complementary additions and updates to the rather old report and found literature that adds the developments of the last decade. First of all we have chosen to make themes based on the functions of a green structure that were presented by 'Stadens parker och natur'. The themes we suggest that a greenplanning document manage are: Recreation, Pedagogies and Heath, Biological Diversity, Green structure in the History of Building Cities, Cultural Identity, the Health of the City, Biological Technology in the Municipality and Use and the Users. We found good examples of how to handle these themes in documents that handle greenstructure planning from the municipalities of Göteborg, Strängnäs, Eskilstuna, Malmö, Lund, Västerås and Uppsala.

Huvudsyftet med detta arbete var att få en ökad förståelse kring stödets betydelse och hur undervisning kan anpassas till allas bästa. Jag har använt mig att lämplig litteratur, enkätundersökningar samt intervjuer för att samla in den information jag behövt. Jag har vänt mig både till elever, lärare, skolhälsan, rektorer och annan personal runt eleverna såsom specialpedagoger och resurspedagoger. Enligt eleverna kan det stöd de får vara skillnaden mellan att klara av skolan eller att misslyckas med ämnen eller till och med hoppa av skolan. Det som är viktigt att tänka på är att alltid ha den enskilda individen i åtanke då alla individer är olika även om det finns likheter i form av t ex en diagnos..

"Ta trappan till uppsatsen" är en hermeneutiskt inriktad empirisk studie baserad på en kvalitativ undersökning. I intervjuerna, som är gjorde i två fokusgrupper med hjälp av semi-strukturerade frågor, deltog åtta studenter som går magisterprogrammet i utomhuspedagogik 2007-2009 på Linköpings Universitet (LiU).Syftet med denna uppsats är att genom en empirisk studie undersöka hur studenter som läser utomhuspedagogik vid LiU upplever sin process att påbörja, genomföra och slutföra skrivandet av sin magisteruppsats. Jag fokuserar i studien på betydelsen av stöd och vilka eventuella hinder som studenterna upplever personligen, i sin nära omgivning och i relationen med universitetet.Resultatet visar att majoriteten av dessa vuxna studenter, som i snitt arbetar ca 90 % parallellt med deltidsstudierna på 50%, ansåg att de viktigaste motivationsfaktorerna inför påbörjandet av uppsatsen var den egna känslan av inre tillfredsställelse samt att få ökad respekt för sitt arbete från kollegor och chefer.Under genomförandet ansåg majoriteten att olika "mentala verktyg" varit till stöd, samt när det fanns en tydlig progression i trappstegsform gällande speciellt litteraturen och reflektionen. Positivt var även att starta med uppsatsen tidigt under kursen. Det fanns en oro för att inte få kontinuerlig handledning och tydlig och konkret information om uppsatsskrivandet från LiU, vilket upplevdes som hinder i skrivprocessen.Vid slutet av skrivprocessen hade betydelsen av yttre bekräftelse minskat och den egna inre motivationen var viktigast.

Constrains regarding time, space and impact on social life is likely to appear. Based on theory and empirical research about the Boundaryless work and the Psychological contract the purpose of this report is to examine employees who live and work at the same place. This is done by studying the regulation regarding time and space factors and the psychological contracts in expectations and in violation of the psychological contract and the risks associated with this like Locked-in factors. The study includes interviews with managers and employees (n=9).

This work is meant to contribute to the research of adaptation studies by focusing on a special case: the transformation of a fictional diary into a movie. In order to sustain the form of the literary source the adaptation to movie requires certain strategies. Först of all, the diary genre is characterized by a one-dimensional narration. Second, diaries only supply a few written dialogues, hence this "void" has to be compensated and filled by media specific measures. Third, the investigated diary is a story of individualization and emancipation of a single woman.

Th is essay is the final piece of my eduacation. The essay contains material that have beenproduced from a study that have been made in Majviken, Gothenburg, one of many cohousingcommunitys in Sweden. The special quality this building poses is that is was originally built as acohousing living but in the past 25 years is has been a housing estate without any form of servicefunction included.During the last year the whole house have been remodeled and a new kind of livingconcept havebeen created, a lifestyle living with many different kinds of service functions included, hostess,common premises for the residents with things suchs as gym, saunas, movietheater and relaxationareas.The study is about the residents living in Majviken, and how they feel about the new way ofliving but also how it affect their lives. What do the new living lifestyle stand for?My original intention have also been to observe and make interwievs with the residents to capturetheir thoughts and in the end have the possibilty to summarize and compare how it was before theredmodeling..

Syftet med uppsatsen, att utreda de skillnader i rättsverkningar som finns mellan Natura 2000-områden och vanliga naturreservat,har jag uppnått genom att använda mig av traditionell juridisk metod. Genom att jämföra lagtextformuleringar, förarbeten och bakgrund till bestämmelserna om de två områdesskydden har jag funnit att reglerna om Natura 2000-områden har en betydligt större räckvidd än bestämmelserna för vanliga naturreservat. Allehanda verksamheter och åtgärder omfattas av den särskilda tillståndprövning som gäller för ingrepp i Natura 2000-områden, medan vanliga naturreservat har begränsad räckvidd till de ingrepp som stadgas i reservatsföreskrifterna. Jag har även funnit skillnader när det gäller inrättandet och upphävandet av områdesskydd, och resultatet är att EU-kommissionen utövar en stark kontroll vad gäller Natura 2000-områden. Kommissionen kan tvinga medlemsstaterna att inrätta särskilt skyddat område, och om medlemsstaten vill upphäva skyddet måste samråd ske med kommissionen.

When SKL (Swedish National Laboratory of Forensic Science) gets images to analyse, the task often is to identify a person or an object. In that work it?s important to find features. Unfortunately images from camera surveillances often contain a lot of noise, so details can be hard to discern.A simple method to improve an image from a sequence is to compute the mean of some of the images. However, the part of interest in the image has to be in the same position in all images.

In recent years, agile software development methods have become increasingly popular throughout the world. Today there are a number of different agile methods and they all rest on the Agile Manifesto that was formulated in 2001 as a reaction to the traditional software processes.The aim of this thesis is to make a survey of some of the agile methods used today and to see how they are being used in practice. It consists of two parts: a literature study and an interview study with people working in the software business. First, a definition of agile methods is proposed and a number of different agile methods are described. Second, the interviews are being analysed with special focus on communication, collaboration, expectations and results.

This study is primarily an account of my examination work in archival science which took place in the archive of Margareta Böttiger, the state epidemiologist at the Swedish Institute for Communicable Disease Control Stockholm. The records are from Böttigers period of work, mainly divided into three parts, polio, HIVS/AIDS and vaccination. Of these I have focused on polio with was the area she got renowned for. Moreover, owing to the uniqueness of the material this study has focused on the properties of the archive as a working-life archive which I propose as a special type of personal archive with unique attributes. To summarize, a working-life archive has in comparison with other personal archives a more fluid process of archiving where the profession is important, not the personal production of records.

Denna uppsats handlar om den svenska Försvarsmaktens jämställdhetsmål som har satts upp för att främja jämställdheten och på sikt få in fler kvinnor i organisationen. Mer specifikt handlar uppsatsen om hur kvinnorna inom Försvarsmakten anser att dessa jämställdhetsmål efterlevs. Uppsatsen baserar sig på intervjuer med tre kvinnliga yrkesofficerare som får ge sin syn på livet i och runt det militära samt på försvarets jämställdhetsarbete och hur det påverkar dem. Resultaten jag kommer fram till i denna uppsats är att Försvarsmakten för dessa tre kvinnor är en bra arbetsplats för dem, oavsett deras individuella livssituationer, men att det fortfarande finns en hel del att jobba på vad gäller jämställdhetsmålen..

The consumption and energy use in today's society contributes to the on-going climate change that creates a debt of life quality for future generations (www, DN, 2007, a). The resources that are used by humans exceed by far what is sustainable (www, Regeringen, 2007, a). The purpose of this paper is to examine how a message about energy conservation should be designed to reach youths. This will be attempted by showing their thoughts on energy and environmental issues and also what it would take for them to get more involved in these issues. The views of the youths are gained by a number of focus group-interviews, which where carried out in the fall of 2007, with kids in the ages 12 to 19. Apart from these interviews, interviews where also conducted with representatives from different youth organisations in Sweden, which gave their views on how to get a message across to kids.

The Individual Program (within the continuation school) in Sweden is the third largest. Its purpose is that the students, who for some reason haven?t been able to be admitted to a National Program, shall get the chance to improve their possibilities to attend one. The difficulties the students, who are admitted to the Individual Program are carriers of, have a wide range. The purpose of the Individual Program is that no one should be excluded from any continuation school.

AbstraktStudien behandlar begreppskunskap inom området positionssystemet hos elever i matematiksvårigheter. Undersökningen har gjorts i årskurs 4 och omfattar naturliga tal avseende tiobassystemet.Studien består av en kvantitativ undersökning och en kvalitativ del med intervjuer.Resultatet av studien har organiserats i tre områden som har betydelse för individens utveckling av matematiska begrepp. Talområdet 1-10, talsystemets uppbyggnad samt förståelsen av stora tal.Av resultatet framgår att förståelse av ett begrepp kan vara mer ytlig än den ser ut att vara. Brister i grundläggande begreppsförståelse kan leda till att räknesvårigheter uppstår.
