Studien är en kvalitativ studie med en hermeneutisk fenomenologisk ansats. Syftet med studien är att förstå och beskriva hur sju förskollärare upplever sitt arbete med barn i behov av särskilt stöd i förskolan. Studiens resultat visar att förskollärarna upplever att de arbetar med barn i behov av särskilt stöd. Samtliga respondenter berättar om barn som har behov av särskilt stöd av socioemotionell karaktär. De beskriver att de arbetar med barn som har svårt att kommunicera, att koncentrera sig, att styra sina impulser och som behöver stöd i sitt samspel och sina relationer med andra barn och vuxna.

Our work is based on a mathematics test which the students accomplished, interviews with student and teachers who are working on this program and the current literatures. The purposes of this work are to search the importance and the effect of the languages understanding in students learning of mathematic in the Individual high school curriculum. In total, sex students and three teachers took part in our study. Tow of the students is mother tongue language student and the remains are second language student. Our study should answer tow important questions:? Do the student in the Individual high school curriculum have the fundamental knowledge in mathematic?? How does the understanding of Swedish language effect in the understanding of the mathematic problems and in the students results in mathematic test?In order to answer those questions, the students have to complete a mathematic test that consists of four parts.

My research method is qualitative, particularly interviews.

The background to this paper is the events that have taken place in the Swedish area of responsibility in Afghanistan where Swedish troops have been ambushed by the insurgents. Although known and feared for thousands of years, rabies remains a real and present threat to thousands of people, especially in low- and middle income countries. In India, rabies is an endemic disease, causing human deaths every year. The primary mode of transmission is through the bite of an infected dog. Fighting the disease in the dog population through vaccinations remains the most efficient way to eradicate the disease. The knowledge of rabies in India is unsatisfactory, as a lot of people lack awareness about the severity of the disease and the importance of washing the bitten area and seeking medical attention for post exposure prophylaxis when bitten by a dog.

The objective of this study is to investigate a new pedagogical material called 4DFrame, how it is experienced by informants and how suitable it is in education - in particular mathematics. Socioculturalperspective has a central role in this study when students are given opportunities for linguistic and social interaction during the experiment with the new pedagogical material. The methodology for this study has been visits, interviews, and observations. The study reveals that there are different views on the didactic potential for mathematics of the new teaching material, though no conclusions can be drawn regarding whether this material is more or less suitable in teaching since no research have been found that compares this with other pedagogical materials. Both national and international studies show the need to find alternative and better ways to make mathematic education meaningful.

Outdoor education is a teaching method which has several advantages to traditional classroom tuition. Its ideas have a long tradition and find support in the current Swedish curriculum. The place for the tuition is a central aspect within outdoor education. This essay aims to investigate what good places for outdoor education look like as well as discussing how the characteristics of such places can be used when designing schoolyards. Previous research shows that nature has characteristics that suit outdoor education well.

Since the 1990?s the Swedish school system has undergone major and recurring structural reforms. Two of the most comprehensive changes has been the shift of primary schools as an integral part of the welfare state to the responsibility of the municipalities as well as the introduction of free school choice for the students. Through two months of participant observations and semi-structured interviews this thesis seeks to answer the question of how these reforms has come to effect the work of teachers in a medium sized public school in a small municipality in the outskirts of Stockholm. Earlier research has shown that public schools in socio-economically vulnerable areas are disadvantaged due to the reformation of the school system (Beach & Sernhede, 2011; Östh, Andersson, & Malmberg, 2013).

Examensarbetet behandlar specialpedagogens förhållningssätt i områden som rör gymnasieelevers motivation och lustfyllda lärande i förebyggande och åtgärdande syfte med fokus på individ-, grupp-, och organisationsnivå. Tanken med detta arbete är att den nyvunna kunskapen ska utveckla oss i vår kommande specialpedagogroll och att detta i sin tur ska påverka organisationen som helhet, men framförallt gynna den enskilde eleven i dennes fortsatta kunskapsutveckling. Våra forskningsfrågor är följande: ? Hur kan specialpedagogen arbeta förebyggande, vad det gäller att ta till vara elevens motivation och känsla av lustfyllt lärande? ? Hur kan specialpedagogen arbeta åtgärdande, vad gäller att ta till vara elevens motivation och känsla av lustfullt lärande? Vi utgår ifrån det sociokulturella- och det salutogena perspektivet och teorier som faller inom ramen för dessa perspektiv. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av en kvalitativ halvstrukturerad intervjuform.

Syftet med denna studie är att få ta del av speciallärares erfarenheter kring sitt arbete med elever i matematiksvårigheter. Jag valt att göra en livsberättelsestudie, där fyra speciallärares berättelser kring sitt arbete med elever i matematiksvårigheter är i fokus. Genom deras egna berättelser om sitt liv som speciallärare vill jag komma åt hur de jobbar med sina elever och varför de väljer att jobba på just de sätten de gör. Jag vill få fram speciallärarens tankar kring varför dessa elever hamnar i matematiksvårigheter och vad det kan bero på.Resultatet visar att de speciallärare som deltagit i studien är ganska samstämmiga i hur de idag jobbar med sina elever och varför de gör som de gör. Resultatet visar att det är en komplex fråga hur man får dessa elever inkluderade i den ordinarie undervisningen.

I detta forskningsarbete vill vi undersöka hur väl specialpedagogprogrammets examensordning överensstämmer med de förväntningar som finns på vår kommande yrkesprofession bland rektorer ute på skolorna. Vi vill belysa detta från rektorers synvinkel eftersom det är de som anställer oss blivande specialpedagoger. Detta gör vi genom att tillfråga 50 slumpvis utvalda rektorer i Sverige. Det är våra tolkningar av de 25 inkomna svaren som ger oss en bild av hur rektorer ser på specialpedagogisk verksamhet. Vi sände ut en onlineenkät där rektorerna svarade på frågor om verksamheten, verksamhetens syn på elever i behov av särskilt stöd samt specialpedagogiska insatser. Frågeområden som vi anser ringar in vårt problemområde på ett relevant sätt. Undersökningen visade att rektorerna anser att den specialpedagogiska verksamheten är viktig men då budgeten är för snäv blir denna verksamhet lidande.

Do the principals who have the pedagogical responsibility of the school find reading comprehension important? This is the underpinning of my thesis for the special teacher-training program. The survey was conducted through interviews with two principals. The results show that they believe reading comprehension is important but it has not been given priority in the organization. The essay could form the basis for further research into reading habits, home environment influences and other factors that may contribute to improve reading comprehension performance..

The purpose behind this work was to investigate whether I could from a practical approach to create desire for mathematics among students in primary schools. I wanted also to find out how students feel about their current mathematics teaching. By introducing an equation game, and interviewing students to find out their perception of their mathematics teaching, I was able to answer my questions. What I came to was that through a practical and laboratory work, I could create an enjoyable educational opportunity in mathematics. Then during the interviews I also learned that students had not a pre-determined negative attitude towards mathematics.
