Sammanfattning Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur medborgardeltagandet kan se ut i planeringsprocessen. Vi undrade hur den här metoden kan påverka utformningen av ett planförslag. Kandidatarbetet belyser teorier om hur man tar tillvara på brukarnas upplevelser. Samt hur man kan omvandla resultatet av upplevelser till ett planförslag vid omgestaltningen av ett område. Arbetet har resulterat i ett planförslag över Rönninge torg i Salems kommun.

This thesis focus on the presentation of the filmic room the viewer sees in George A. Romero´s three horror classics Night, Dawn and Day of the Dead. The hypothesis goes as follow; fear and element of tension becomes greater if the audience/viewer has a good knowledge about the filmic room in the film, in other words, a good spatial awareness. The conclusion is that it does. The environment is active in its becoming and in its presentation to the viewer.

I denna studie studeras rekordårens betydelse som historiebärare och kulturmiljö i förhållande till nutida stadsbyggnadsförändringar för att tillmötesgå 2010-talets ideal om en tät och stadsmässig boendemiljö. Krav på ökad bostadsproduktion i landets större städer och upprustning av rekordårens bebyggelsebestånd är andra anledningar till fysiska förändringar och nybyggnation. Det har vid tillbyggnad i befintliga bostadsområden visat sig svårt att kommunicera den ursprungliga stadsplanen och de kvaliteter som den är sammankopplad med, det är denna konflikt som utgör studiens kärnproblematik. För att studera sambandet mellan platshistorisk hänsyn och nybyggnation genom förtätning utförs en fallbaserad analys av rekordårsområdet Hageby i Norrköping där tre alternativa förtätningsförslag presenteras utifrån generell teori och forskningsöversikt om kulturmiljövård och rekordårens flerbostadshusområden där de övertygelser som formade dem samt den roll de har att spela som kulturmiljö redovisas..

In a multi-year project at Swerea Swecast AB studies on influence of dissolved gas on inclusions have been made. The knowledge about these parameters could be used to increase the quality of the final steel casting. The purpose of this thesis was to closer examine the impact of the oxygen level on inclusions.The questions asked were:? What was the amount of inclusions at different levels of oxygen?? What was the size of these inclusions at different levels of oxygen?? What does the inclusions consist of at different levels of oxygen?This was studied by measuring and sampling, sample preparation and microscopic analysis using an optical microscope and a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Measurements and sampling was performed at Smålands Stålgjuteri AB in Eksjö and at Swerea Swecast AB in Jönköping.

Climate changing is a growing problem for many countries and communities over the world. The cities has a huge work to deal with in their reforcements of their cities to be resilient ones. This thesis makes an effort to investigate and illuminate some of the problem the cities has to solve related to flooding, hazards, erosions, rising sea levels and crotches. This thesis will help to find solutions that international and national efforts has produced and handed out to each other. A lot of communities are charing their excellent tools that works for them.

Jämställdhet låter bra ? men vad är det egentligen vi planarkitekter ska göra? Det finns idag stor kunskap om jämställdhetsarbete och riktlinjer för hur detta arbete bör bedrivas. Samtidigt har inte implementeringen inom planeringsprofessionen utvecklats i någon större omfattning. Frågan är varför det inte har skett, samt hur planarkitekter kan integrera jämställdhetsaspekter i sitt arbete. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka rekommendationer från experter och deras möjliga tillämpning. Rekommendationer om jämställdhetsarbete i arbetsprocessen från nulägesbeskrivning fram till ett färdigt planförslag undersöks.

The purpose of this essay is to find out how gender upholds in a classroom, both by students as well as the teacher. The procedure has been to observe the relationship between students and also the teachers. The observations is analysed according to theories of gender and a discussion about why gender is maintained follows. The conclusion of the result is that gender is being preserved in different ways, but also the contrary ? students and the teacher oppose it.

The phenomenology of Gaston Bachelard holds that readers, or viewers, relate to spatial imagery through the use of age-old archetypes. These archetypes form a collective image-memory that is employed when reading space. One such image is the house. The house for Bachelard is, however, never solely an image, but constitutes a familiar space that becomes inscribed in our bodies through the repeated physical contact with this domestic space. The house teaches us to interact with space, and comes to inform the way that human beings understand images of space.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how twelve middle school teachers use educational tools and what influences their choice of educational tools in Swedish language writing instruction. To answer this purpose, three research questions were formulated: What does writing instruction look like for middle school students according to the teachers in the study? What influences teachers' choice and use of educational tools in writing instruction? What opportunities and challenges do teachers experience in Swedish language writing instruction when using different educational tools? Twelve teachers from variously sized municipalities and with different experiences participated in the study through purposive sampling and convenience sampling. The chosen method is qualitative semi-structured teacher interviews. To analyse the results, this study employs analytical tools from the sociocultural perspective, using concepts such as mediation, appropriation, the zone of proximal development, and scaffolding. The results show that both analogue and digital tools are used in the teachers' writing instruction. The choice of tools should be based on pedagogical considerations, with an emphasis on social interaction and collaboration during the learning process.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur Karlskrona kommun skulle betygsättas utifrån Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan verktyget ADVANCE. Studien utgår framförallt ifrån forskningsförhållningssättet fallstudier, som framförallt har genomförts med hjälp av metoderna litteraturstudier samt ADVANCE. Litteraturstudierna har framförallt bestått av de strategier Karlskrona kommun har antagit angående dess mobilitetsplanering och ADVANCE har använts som ett verktyg för att kunna upptäcka de positiva och negativa effekter dessa strategier har för kommunen. Utifrån denna fallstudie, samt genom diskussioner med Lars Olofsson (trafiknämnden, Karlskrona kommun), analyseras de resultat som verktyget ADVANCE visar upp, i dessa analyser ges även exempel på lösningar som Karlskrona kommun skulle kunna använda sig av för att kunna förbättra sin nuvarande mobilitetsstrategi.

Vi reser allt mer och vi reser allt längre. Till följd av vidgade arbetsmarknader och en ökad klimatmedvetenhet har tågresandet fått större fokus, och orter med järnvägsstationer har fått ökat intresse både för in- och utpendling. Ett välplanerat stationsområde kan vara avgörande för en stationsorts attraktivitet samtidigt som de är bland de mest komplexa områdena att planera. Sambanden mellan den fysiska utformningen av stationens närområde och människors transportval kan vara svår att uppfatta. För att kunna presentera planeringsförslag i ett stationsnära läge krävs därför grundliga analyser av ortens lokala planförhållanden. Syftet med detta kandidatarbete är att utvärdera analysmetoder för bedömning av orter i stationsnära lägen som kan appliceras på Herrljunga tätort, genom att studera tre handböcker från andra delar av Sverige.

Syftet med detta kandidatarbete var att sätta samman ett promopaket bestående av en webbsida och en demo-EP med passande grafisk design. EP:n har tre spår elektroakustisk instrumentalmusik av skiftande karaktär, samt ett stilrent men ändå suggestivt omslag. This final project discusses renewal and upgrading of the area of Prim. It is discussed how this industrial area can be an attractive neighborhood with a varied range of services and commercial trade. Prim is located 2km north-east of the center of Barcelona. The area boarders to a deep railway valley that historically has separated Prim from its neighboring districts. At present there is almost no housing, services or commercial trade within the area and the industry is discontinued or the existing industrial buildings are derelict. There is also a lack of green recreational areas.

Over the last couple of years, growers, researchers, advisors and plant protection companies have noticed increasing problems with tortricids in Swedish apple orchards. Since the insecticide Gusathion (azinphosmethyl) has been banned (end of 2008; KemI 2008), a further increase of tortricid populations can be expected. In order to get a picture of species composition and population densities among the tortricids, an inventory of seven species, Adoxophyes orana, Archips podana, Archips rosana, Cydia pomonella, Hedya nubiferana, Pandemis heparana and Spilonota ocellana was made in 11 orchards in southern Sweden (Skåne) in 2008.
