Studien syftar till att undersöka konflikter inom riksintressesystemet med särskilt fokus på värdefulla ämnen eller material. Intresset för svenska mineralfyndigheter har ökat och med nya gruvetableringar kommer konflikter om markanspråk. Syftet med studien är att utifrån samhällsstyrningen, undersöka om tillämpningen av 3 och 4 MB följer intentionerna med lagstiftningen med fokus på mineralnäringen och dess konflikt med andra intressen. Riksintressesystemet som studeras, uppkom på 60- och 70-talen på grund av att staten upplevde ett behov av att kunna ange långsiktiga nationella riktlinjer för mark- och vattenhushållningen. Genom det skulle konflikter mellan industrietableringar, bebyggelseutveckling och bevarandevärda kvaliteter hanteras.

Global warming is going to affect our society in many ways. One can say that the problem we face has two different sides. One of those sides has received a lot of attention, namely how we can reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases. However, because of the climate system's inertia the climate will continue to evolve over a period, no matter how much we will cut back on emissions. Because of this, we have to start adapting our society to the climate changes that we cannot influence.

The purpose of this project was to invite a changed perception of active sitting, to introduce a more active way of sitting in office environments and destigmatize an active sitting posture such as straddling by giving active sitting products conscious aesthetics based on environment and positive associations. The goal with this project was an active sitting product for office environments with aesthetics considered encouraging to movement in a relaxed way, regardless of age and gender, and connect to materials and aesthetics related to activity, experience and recreation. Horseback riding, retro style surfing and skateboarding was an entry of investigation. The project was based on existing active sitting products, their function and production techniques. It was not a part of the project to investigate new models of sitting.

It is important to construct or recreate different types of wetlands and study their retention of nutrients, since knowledge of their effectiveness in this matter is poor. In 2003 a wetland was constructed on an old meadow on the western shore of Lake Bornsjön in central Sweden. The main purpose of the wetland was to reduce the amount of phosphorus entering the lake, which is the back-up water supply for Stockholm when the city cannot obtain water from Lake Mälaren. Large areas around Lake Bornsjön consist of agricultural land and the nutrient concentrations in the inflows to the lake are usually relatively high (approx. 1 mg/l total nitrogen and 0.05-0.1 mg/l total phosphorus).

Sammanfattning En stad och dess stadsdelar kan planeras på olika sätt, mycket beroende på tidens ideal och politik. Stadens planering kan ses som ett skelett, den struktur som ska vara stadens ryggrad. Utan ett skelett växer staden som ett ryggradslöst djur, en amöba. Ett skelett kan ha olika utseenden och strukturer beroende på hur det ska användas, fågel, fisk eller mitt emellan. På samma sätt kan stadsplanering fungera med olika strukturer och utseende. Tanken med detta arbete är att på ett område i Karlskrona kommun, göra olika planförslag enligt mitt sätt att se på de olika planeringsidealen.

Under 2011 implementerade den svenska regeringen en lag om fysisk planering och hur den ska ta hänsyn till det regionala perspektivet. Den regionala nivån har traditionellt sett varit svag i Sverige i jämförelse med den lokala och nationella nivån och den fysiska planeringen ligger på kommunernas ansvar. Den regionala nivån har också anklagats, från vetenskapen och forskare, att vara avpolitiserande och fokusera på förhandling och samförstånd. Den fy-siska planeringen är organiserad och drivs genom demokratiska processer på kommunal nivå och det är politikerna som fattar de beslut som den fysiska planeringen jobbar efter.När fysisk planering ska ta hänsyn till det regionala perspektivet förändras villkoren för poli-tiken och det blir en förändrad politisk arena. Syftet med denna studie är att analysera aktörer i Värmland och deras syn på denna förändrade arena och de nya villkoren för politik den för med sig.

This is my final thesis in landscapeplaning at the Swedish University ofAgricultural Sciences (SLU). I discuss howthe countryside should be planned, witha sustainable perspective. In the study Iexamine four important conditions forplanning.The countryside is often defined bywhat it is not which makes it difficult todescribe in general terms. The definition ofthe term countryside in this study is takenfrom the National Rural DevelopmentAgency (Glesbygdsverket). The conclusionis: Planners and scientists should have anunderstanding for the complexity of thecountryside; otherwise there is a risk oflosing the characteristics of the country.The legislation, goals and conventionswhich have an impact on the Swedishcountryside are both national and international.To find out how the settlementdevelopment is dealt with, I havestudied the Swedish building legislations(among others, plan- och bygglagen andmiljöbalken).Similar to the difficulties on finding asuitable definition for the term countryside,it is complex to define the term sustainabledevelopment.

This essay examines the narrative aspect of interactive fiction. The study uses Janet H. Murrays analysis of the digital environment and the properties of it as procedural, participatory, spatial and encyclopedic. From this, her three characteristic pleasures in digital narratives - immersion, agency and transformation - are examined from the perspective of interactive fiction. The study also examines Nick Montforts analysis of interactive fiction as a potential narrative and a simulated world or environment.

Detta arbete syftar till att få förståelse för den konflikt som uppstått i samband med planeringen av Nya Slussen. Den syftar också till att mer generellt kunna säga något om konflikter i samband med planeringsprocesser. Arbetet börjar med en introduktion till fysisk planering som verksamhetsområde med syftet att sätta in den vidare studien i en kontext. Eftersom den senare teoretiska delen förklarar teorier om generella konflikter ansåg denna del vara nödvändig för att få en djupare förståelse för resultatet av den senare dokumentstudien. Introduktionen till fysisk planering tar upp information, teorier och begrepp som förklarar fysisk planerings som verksamhetsområde och behandlar ämnen så som planprocessen, allmänna och enskilda intressen, planeringspolitik, aktörerna och deras attityder gentemot varandra och planeringsteori och demokratimodeller. Teoridelen försöker sedan att redogöra för konflikters uppkomst och upptrappning.

Det är av stor vikt att utomhusmiljön planeras och utformas på ett sätt som möjliggör för en självständig orientering och förflyttning för personer med blindhet. Ett sätt att öka personer med blindhets möjligheter till en mer självständig vardag är att utforma så kallade taktila ledstråk. Taktila ledstråk definieras som en sammanhängande kedja av ledande element från start till mål. De ledande elementen kan bestå av antingen naturliga eller artificiella ledytor. Enligt tidigare forskning beskrivs de naturliga ledytorna som mest användbara vid orientering och förflyttning för personer med blindhet, och bör därför först tillvaratas enligt svensk lagstiftning.

The purpose of this study is to examine the accessibility with public transportation in the case of the Umeå Region in northern Sweden. This is done by GIS network analysis where both access to transit stops, as well as access by public transport from stops to destinations is examined. An accessibility index is created from transit frequency and travel times to destinations. The results is compared with population register data to calculate what shares of the population has which levels of accessibility with public transportation. In the Umeå Region there are different levels of accessibility by public transport for different parts of the region, where transit stops in the most densely populated areas has the highest levels of accessibility, as well as stations along the railroads.

The aim of the inventory is to ensure that the company is able to meet the customers?demands despite fluctuations and variations in the material flow. The size of the warehouseand the layout are physical limitations for the quantity of articles that can be stored.

The municipalities of Sweden have a great responsibility when it comes to adapt the physical planning to a more sustainable development. The development of the society depends upon the growth of new communities and other public services, but to build new communities in a long-term sustainable manner you need good methods and guidance. This study presents four sustainability certification scheme intended to improve and adapt the planning, implementation and performance of new communities and infrastructure project to more sustainable methods based on economic, ecological and social sustainability. These systems are the latest versions of environmental classifications and similar rating schemes, but with a broader focus since they also include the social aspect of sustainability.This study aims to investigate what role sustainability certification schemes can play in local planning for sustainable development. The study compares the certification systems criteria to the tools and goals that the Swedish municipalities have been provided with, to lead efforts towards a more sustainable society.
