I uppsatsen studeras den kommunikativa planeringsteorin utifrån en utgångspunkt om att den inbegriper en inbyggd konflikt i att å ena sidan syfta till att skapa ett mer rättvist och demokratiskt samhälle, samtidigt som flera problemområden identifierats vilka hindrar deltagandeprocesser att uppnå detta mål. Genom att studera en detaljplaneprocess i Biskopsgården i Göteborg där stadsbyggnadskontoret själva valt att engagera en medborgargrupp, syftar uppsatsen till att skapa en djupare förståelse för hur den kommunala planprocessen kan arbeta med frågor om inkludering, konsensus, lokal demokrati och legitimitet. Den för studien aktuella medborgargruppen har fått ett relativt gott genomslag för sina förslag i planprocessen. Uppsatsen menar dock att detta inte främst beror på den detaljplaneprocess som dialogarbetet genomfördes i, utan snarare för att även andra planeringsnivåer varit förmögna att införliva gruppens förslag i sina respektive processer. Grunden till detta är att vidden av deltagandegruppens perspektiv på stadsdelens utveckling övergår detaljplaneprocessens möjlighet till utvecklingsarbete. Vad gäller undersökningen av uppsatsens värdeladdade begrepp, kan den aktuella medborgardeltagandeprocessen anses ha uppnått en relativt hög grad av inkludering i sina praktiker.

Close to the city center of Reykjavik lies the combined national- and university library of Iceland. Usually, these two types of institutions are separated. The purpose of this essay is to investigate how the library in fact selects the new digital material to offer the users in Iceland, and if the combined mission creates any problems or conflicts.The investigation examines the planning and the content of the digital library, what user groups are addressed and how the organisation is held together despite the different missions. If cultural context in Iceland makes a difference for what is selected and offered to the users is also discussed.Six informants in strategic library positions dealing with the digital national- or university library, were interviewed. The answers have been analysed in light of the library&information literature on building and maintaining digital library collections and organizational and marketing theory.The main result of the study is that the informants do not see a conflict between the missions of the organisation, although traces of a struggle were found in some areas.

Ett bostadsbyggande som omges av komplexa lagar och strukturer. Stadsbyggnad handlar om hur, var och när. I Arkitekten beskriver Dan Hallemar (2004) hur Stockholm Stad använder tre principer för att bygga stad;princip 1) Låt gå principen; handlar om det goda samtalet mellan professionen och marknaden där det sedan ofta görs som marknaden vill, men andra ord uppnå höga byggsiffror på kort tid och undvika överklaganden. This thesis is about the interaction between composition, notation and interpretation and what occurs between the fields with an extended notation.The purpose of my thesis is to examine the possibilities tothoroughly describe and map the sounding samples through composition prototypes.The thesis has a qualitative approach, and the empirical material consists of different documents about notation and from interviews with musicians and students about the instruments used in the thesis.It also consists of 17 compositions recorded at Örebro University School of Music as an appendix.The analysis shows that the context in which the symbols are found, play an important role in performing them. It also shows that the performers are rooted in a traditional way of performing..

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how a small company manages its information, primarily the organization of digital documents. The two dominating themes are classification and information politics, the former in the context of a corporate environment and the latter to help us to describe the situation at the company. The method used has involved observation of the company's current computer network structure and also interviews with six employees at different levels in various departments at the company. The result of our investigation has been the realization that, although logical structure is important when organizing documents in a digital environment, it is also necessary to have rules regarding its implementation..

De externa köpcentrumen har haft en stark utveckling i storstäderna och framförallt har de externa köpcentrumen utvecklats ännu bättre i de mindre städer. Under 1990-talet har externhandeln vuxit med hela 85 procent i Sverige. Att handeln har samlats till färre platser, mest till externa köpcentrum, beror dels på att det skett en urbanisering och dels på att bilanvändningen har ökat. A gift bag may contain samples, miniature products and even products in full size, as a rule from several different brands, which the recipient receives free of charge. The gift bag is typically distributed at some form of event, such as store openings, fashion shows, theme parties and the like, and the receiver of the gift bag can then evaluate the content without any obligation to purchase. The ambition of the companies that choose to participate with their products in a gift bag is, of course, that the recipient will find their products satisfactory, and ideally, that he or she will continue to consume the brand in the future.There are numerous scientific research contributions related to the use of free samples, but very few that concern the gift bag, where a collection of samples from different sources and brands appear.

With theoretical terms as children in vulnerability and adults incharge the analysis examines how South Africa and Sweden has been using the UN children?sconvention to empower children and for what consequences in the positioning of children that hasshown. And that adults are positioned as a powerful group with a responsibilty of protectingchildren.

Stadsdelen Skäggetorp är en förort cirka 4 kilometer från Linköpings centrum som uppfördes under miljonprogrammet det vill säga mellan 1965-74. Under dessa tio år uppfördes drygt en miljon bostäder i Sverige med avsikten att bygga bort den bostadsbrist och trångboddhet som då rådde. Efteråt har byggandet och stadsdelarna från epoken kommit att kritiserats hårt för att bland annat ha monotona och torftiga miljöer. Utemiljöerna var något som allt som oftast blev eftersatt vid byggandet på grund av att det rationaliserades och serietillverkning skedde. Förorterna från miljonprogrammet har även kritiserats på grund av den segregering som allt som oftast skett i dessa stadsdelar.

The thesis aims to describe the current sales climate in the context of complex sales in business-to-business. The purpose is to increase the clients knowledge of sales and test the clients hypothesis that the sales climate is changing from Solution Selling to Insight Selling, further the thesis aims to contribute to the scientific debate of sales. Solution Selling is characterized, as the name suggest, by selling of solution to the customers needs. With Insight Selling the seller has a provocative approach towards the customer and the seller is searching for customers in the need of change. This is a qualitative study conducted with eight interviews and one focus group.

The following essay is a study of the theatre-play Min Arm, a translation and performance by Per Lasson for Fria Teatern in Stockholm 2009-2010. Actor, director and playwright Tim Crouch wrote the original script My Arm in English in 2003.With basis in intermedial theory, as defined by Jörgen Bruhn, as well as Hans-Thies Lehmann?s theory on post-dramatic theatre this study investigates the meaning-building processes in Min Arm as a theatrical performance. Concepts of the difference between stage play and performance text are borrowed from and inspired mainly by Eli Rozik?s Generating Theatre Meaning.

Boendesegregationsfrågan har under de senaste åren fått en allt större uppmärksamhet. Den negativa samhällsutvecklingen i samband med koncentrationen av fattiga invånare och minoritetsgrupper i vissa bostadsområden väckte även intresset för grannskapseffekter. När effekterna blir negativa för de boende blir det genast befogat att finna lösningar för att åtgärda problemen. Det har under årens gång därför riktats satsningar mot de utsatta områdena för att motverka boendesegregationen och dess effekter, en typ av satsning som senare fått motstå mycket kritik. Idag råder det en allmän samsyn bland politiker, beslutsfattare och planerare om att boendesegregationsproblematiken kan åtgärdas om de socialt utsatta områdena blir mer socialt blandade.

Filmmusic is often composed specially for a film. When analyzing film-music it seems very common to study the function of the music in a narrative context in order to see how it cooperates or relates to this narration. In the present thesis I am investigating the interaction between film and music as two ingredients on an equal level. In short: what happens when a filmmaker chooses music that has already been composed for another occasion, even in another time and a different cultural context? My aim is twofold: first to examine current film analytic strategies, secondly to find new ways of comprehend pre-composed music in relation to its new setting in a film.
