Visby is a city that at first glance is of medieval origins. The popular image of scientists today is that the city was formed in the Middle Ages. According to some of the researchers Visby was formed during the Viking Age, it is based on the basis that the area has been used for a long period. Urban development in the Nordic countries is complex and there are different opinions as to why the Nordic cities emerge. It is important to shed light on the underlying process on why cities are emerging to provide clarity as to why Visby city is emerging.

Problem och Syften:Det har visat sig att en vanlig orsak bakom icke framgångsrika tjänsteföretag är att företagets medarbetare inte är tillräckligt informerade om vad företaget står för vilket gör att de inte alltid levererar tjänsten på det sätt de lovat sina kunder. En av orsakerna till detta problem kan vara att företaget misslyckats med att marknadsföra sin tjänst och sitt varumärke internt. Med denna studie vill vi då undersöka hur ett tjänsteföretag kan gå tillväga för att försäkra sig om att de anställda levererar tjänsten i enlighet med kundlöftet: Hur får ett tjänsteföretag sina kundtjänstmedarbetare att leverera tjänster i enlighet med vad varumärket lovat sina kunder? Vi vill undersöka vilka faktorer och problemområden som inverkar på detta problem samt undersöka hur dessa kan påverkas och hanteras på ett tjänsteföretag. Det ena av uppsatsens två syften handlar om att vi vill kunna skapa en modell samt ge praktiska exempel för hur ett företag kan använda de två teorierna Internal Marketing och Internal branding, för att arbeta med detta problem.

During the last 100-200 years people have change their way of living and the condition and need for survival is no longer depending on the agricultural work. The forestry has replaced the farming and a lot of the natural pastural have been lost. Wessmantorp in the north part of Skåne is an old place for forestry and farming where people have been living for several hundred years. Studies of selected parts of the everyday landscape, that earlier have been settlement with small crofter?s holding, show that the changes in the landscape mostly depends on the human factor and that a lot of the cultivable soil have been replaced with spruce. Some of the areas, which the earlier dwellings were placed, still contain some remains of old house foundations and stone fences and can regard as being of an historical value. The studies provide the reader with a short background, the place as it is today and the changes of the land use in Wessmantorp.

SUMMARYThe Swedish laws of animal welfare emphasize the social needs of the horse but nothing is said about how to fulfill this. Though there are few studies done in this subject it can be difficult to understand if the needs are fulfilled. The purpose of this study was to learn more about the horse?s social needs in box stable and to increase other people?s knowledge and understanding of the horse behavior to increase the welfare of the stabled horse. The questions where: How does the horse choose to place itself depending on what horse is next to it? How many attempts does the horse do to take contact and nose contact with the horse next to it? How does the box design affect the horse behavior?22Eight horses were videotaped during 24 nights.

The purpose of this essay has been to investigate the research and national initiatives regarding film and Cineliteracy in the Swedish curriculum.The results show that, after all research, national initiatives and the continual clarification from the Swedish National Agency for Education concerning film's place in the Swedish subject, the vision of students cineliteracy not at all obtain an obvious place in the curriculum.The research points out the main causes behind this result to be teachers' lack of expertise and the fact that the formal education for future teachers in the subject still upholds traditional views on the subject of Swedish.The initiative presented in this essay also show lack of continuity, lack of adequate professional development opportunities for teachers and lack of practical guidance manuals to help teachers to develop and educate their pupils in line with current research and visions. .

The purpose of this study was to examine the various influences and advertising in particular affecting travelers' choice of destination. Data collection was conducted through quantitative method in the form of a survey to identify how travelers choose a destination, and to what extent they are influenced by advertising. Interviewees were travelers who were in Stockholm's central station would be passed on to Arlanda. The results from this study indicate that underlying factors such as economy, security, seasonal and service in place. The results also show that advertising is an important factor in selecting the destination.

Street art can be defined as an artistic expression, often anonymous and illegal, which is constructed in the public environment. The purpose of this essay is to provide a broad and balanced picture of what street art can mean. The aim is to examine street art as a phenomenon. Today we spend a lot of time at our place of work. Changes in the Swedish labour market have caused illness for many people. This has contributed to that many people have been reported sick. The purpose with this study was to investigate and deskribe factors the staff, at a social insurance office, identify as important for health at a place of work. Ten employees at the social insurance office took part in the study.

This essay is focused on the questions of and responsibility for where, when, how and why communication and meetings through archaeology should take place. I have critically studied Swedish public archaeology through three diverse archaeological excava­tions, one took place in the end of the 1980s, and two others in 2012.I have asked for under what circum­stances and with which goals the public efforts become possible. I have inter­viewed leaders for the archaeological excavations and/or the public efforts and questi­o­ned how and why they reached out to the public. I also searched for results and effects in order to problematize and value the public activities.Through interpretation of the resear­ched material it becomes clear that economic issues as well as archaeo­logists interests and engagements are of vital importance for public archaeology. This study aspires to find an answer to what makes a negotiation for peace successful. In our pursue to do so we have chosen two cases to compare with each other through a set of different theories. The theories we believed could be relevant were ripeness/readiness, asymmetry, the strategies of mediation, intra-state conflicts and personal actors.The case-study consists of two negotiations that both took place in Camp David. The first one was between Egypt and Israel, 1978, and serves as the example of a successful negotiation. The second case was, again, with Israel but the counterpart was Palestine and took place in year 2000.

FN har deklarerat år 2005 till år 2015 som ett decennium för utbildning om hållbar utveckling. Därför var det intressant att undersöka om det har fått någon genomslagskraft i den gymnasiala undervisningen. Syftet med den här undersökningen var att undersöka om ett skifte från traditionell miljöundervisning till undervisning för hållbar utveckling har skett.Det empiriska materialet består av sex kvalitativa intervjuer med två fysiklärare, två naturkunskapslärare och två samhällskunskapslärare. Resultatet av denna studie visade att kunskaperna för hållbar utveckling varierar bland lärarna och att det inte har skett ett skifte från traditionell miljöundervisning till undervisning för hållbar utveckling fullt ut. Den undervisning som idag bedrivs ligger inom den normativa miljöutbildningen.

Employer branding, eller arbetsgivarvarumärke som det heter på svenska, handlar om att rätt människor ska attraheras, rekryteras och vilja stanna kvar i ett företag. Ett starkt employer brand är något som har blivit allt viktigare för företagen i kampen om värdefulla andelar på marknaden.  Studier har visat att anställda som är engagerade och trivs på sitt arbete också presterar bättre, vilket leder till ökad produktion och lönsamhetsfördelar. Många företag är inte medvetna om eller uppdaterade vad gäller sitt arbetsgivarerbjudande, det vill säga den anledning som arbetsgivaren ger till nuvarande och potentiella anställda att arbeta för denne. Det kan vara svårt att fastställa vilka områden som behöver utvecklas i företaget och vilka målgrupper som bör prioriteras. Tillgängliga mätmetoder för att få klarhet gällande nuvarande employer brand saknas, vilket har bidragit till studiens syfte att skapa ett mätverktyg för att utvärdera ett företags arbetsgivarvarumärke gentemot nuvarande anställda.

Syftet med den här studien har varit att undersöka hur lärare i grundskolans senare år arbetar med hållbar utveckling i sin undervisning. Jag har i teoriavsnittet valt att definiera begreppet hållbar utveckling och vidare även ge en beskrivning av begreppet ur ett ekologiskt, ekonomiskt och socialt perspektiv. Inom teoriavsninttet beskrivs även människans påverkan på miljön och vilken roll skolan har i utbildning för hållbar utveckling. Den metod som är aktuell i den här studien är en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod. Lärare inom ämnet hem- och konsumentkunskap samt lärare inom de samhällsorienterade ämnena geografi, religion, historia och samhällskunskap har deltagit i en enkätundersökning.

The purpose of this study is to examine how pre-school teachers think about the importance of circle time in regard to the child's language and social development from a sociocultural perspective. Furthermore the study will include what role the educators? have during the circle time.To answer our purpose we have chosen the following question:What is the role of the teachers in the circle time?What are the teacher?s thoughts about the circle time?s importance to children's social development?What are the teacher?s thoughts about the circle time?s importance to children's language development?The study is constructed on qualitative methods, where we conducted structured interviews with six preschool teachers and observed their circle time to collect our empirical material. The study is also based on Vygotsky's sociocultural perspective which says that all learning takes place through relations and interaction with other people in the cultural context you are in. The results have shown that pre-school teachers are aware of the circle time?s importance to children?s development, and purposely plan the circle time to give children the opportunity to develop both socially and linguistically skills..
