Intressenter har under de senaste åren ställt högre krav på att företag ska ta ett socialt ansvar vilket har bidragit till en omfattande debatt om Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Denna uppsats ämnar att undersöka hur Ericssons CSR integreras på organisationens huvudkontor i Kista. För att kunna svara på samhällets förväntningar är det väsentligt för företag att integrera CSR djupt i organisationen. För att integrera CSR presenterar denna uppsats en fyrstegsprocess som bygger på att företag bör ha en intern CSR röst, att de ska mäta CSR aktiviteterna, att företaget ska ha ett proaktivt synsätt och att det ska ske en attitydförändring angående CSR i företaget. Genom att analysera Ericssons CSR-aktiviteter utifrån denna process kan vi konstatera att Ericsson integrerar sina CSR aktiviteter via sitt ledningssystem, sin Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability rapport, intern kommunikation och utbildning och dialoger med företagets interna intressenter.

Purpose:The purpose of this thesis is: to determine key success factors for an organisation?s internal process of internalising future trends forecasting. Methodology:A qualitative approach has been chosen by examining three different companies (Electrolux, H&M and, Sony Ericsson) through interviews and other data. The empirical material have been analysed by using valid theory as a platform from where the analysis can be performed. This has created a conceptual analysis that enables the use of the conclusions in other similar companies.

Syfte: Vi vill öka kunskapsmassan kring huruvida konsumenters tolkningar av logotyper ligger i linje med kreatörers tankar. Metod: Induktiv ansats, kvalitativ metod i form av 16 konsumentintervjuer och 3 expertintervjuer. Den information vi har erhållt har legat till grund för våra senare delar. Teoretiska perspektiv: Corporate identity och visuell identitet, vidare har områden som färg, teckensnitt och symboler studerats. En empirisk studie om logotyper har också legat till grund i vårt teoriavsnitt.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att få en bättre förståelse för hur ett företags kriskommunikation kan se ut i förhållande till dagens kommunikationsteknologi. Med dagens kommunikationsteknologi menas i denna uppsats sociala medier och bloggar. För att uppnå syftet har en fallstudie gjorts för att undersöka ett företags kriskommunikation i sociala medier och bloggar. Fallstudien har gjorts på teknikföretaget Sony och deras kris från 2011 när deras nätverk hackades. Nätverket används av Sonys kunder för att spela tv-spel online samt för att köpa digitala varor och tjänster via Sonys tv-spelskonsoler.

This thesis has two aims: The main purpose is to describe and illustrate how a large Ltd. company can use voluntary redundancy as a tool for restructuring. The additional purpose is to challenge the concept of voluntary redundancy trough outlining alternative ways of reaching the intended achievements of the voluntary redundancy programme. The theoretical framework that has been used primarily contains knowledge assets theories. The chosen theories are intellectual capital and knowledge management theory to approach and analyse the empirical findings.

The development in electronics increases the demand for good design methods and design tools in the field of electrical engeneering. To improve their design methods Ericsson Microwave Systems AB is interested in using computer tools to create a link between the specification and the implementation of a digital system in a FPGA. Xilinx System Generator for DSP is a tool for implementing a model of a digital signalprocessing algorithm in a Xilinx FPGA. To evaluate Xilinx System Generator two testcases has been designed. The testcases are selected to represent the FPGA designs made at Ericsson Microwave Systems.

Nedladdade spel har blivit mer förekommande än vad de var fo?r ett årtionde sedan. Bredbandets framgång har gjort det möjligt att snabbt ladda ner spel och marknaden fo?r digitala spel växer stadigt. I denna studie undersöker vi om konsolspelarnas attityd mot digitala konsolspel skiljer sig från fysiska konsolspel i och med den växande digitala marknaden.

I början av 2000-talet avslöjades flera stora redovisningsskandaler i USA. Stora amerikanskaföretag som Enron och Worldcom lyckades genom svekfull redovisning vilseleda marknadenatt tro att deras finansiella ställning var avsevärt bättre än vad det visade sig vara. Enronförsökte t.ex. gömma stora skulder genom att inte ta upp dem i balansräkningen, dettaarrangerades av Enrons finanschef med samtycke från revisorerna och bolagets styrelse. Närskandalen avslöjades och Enron tvingades ta med de korrekta siffrorna i balansräkningen blevkonsekvensen att företaget fick begära konkurs.

We have 3G on the doorstep but nothing seems to attract ordinary people to this technology. To attract the mass market the telecom industry must show something beyond high bit rates. They must show how ordinary people can take advantage of this new technology. This is done by showing the possibilities of the new technology and by demonstrating applications that it will handle. The telecom industry must convince the telecom operators to invest in this technology and the only thing that matters to them is how much revenue they can make by adopting the upcoming technology.

This thesis work is executed at Business Unit Ericsson Test Environment (BETE), in Linköping. BETE is the department at Ericsson, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the company's Operations Support System (OSS). Their management system was outdated and they wanted it to be updated and it also required new features. The database needed to be replaced and the data migrated to a new database without licensing costs. The system also needed a part where employees could manage existing users.As a programming language PHP was chosen for its dynamic possibilities, platform independence and good support for database intergration.

Vi har med detta magisterexamensarbete avsett att belysa outsourcingens roll i och med en allt mer nätverksliknande organisationsform och hur L M Ericsson styr de stora organisationsmönster som blir kontentan av dessa utläggningar. Genom teorier angående outsourcingens karaktäristika, imaginära organisationer och med Simons ekonomistyrningsteorier som utgångspunkt har vi försökt skapa oss en bild av vår frågeställning. Denna har vi sedan testat empiriskt genom att göra en fallstudie i L M Ericsson som har genomfört dessa förändringar i så pass stor omfattning och under sådan tid att det gjort det möjligt att få ut resultat som är gångbara i andra fall och företag som funderat på eller genomfört liknande omstruktureringar. Den analys som följt av teori och empiri har bland annat gett oss slutsatsen att styrningen av leverantörer och outsourcingpartners många gånger är de samma oavsett om de ses som ?köp-sälj? relationer eller djupare allianser.

Detta examensarbete utfördes på avdelningsnivån CCS på avdelningen PDU Platforms på Ericsson. Avdelningen ville förändra sin nuvarande arbetsprocess genom att övergå från Daily Build, att bygga och testa en gång om dagen, till ett mer kontinuerligt byggande och testande. CCS hanterar och tillhandahåller kontrollsystemtjänster för RNC applikationer och äldre RBS. Målet med detta examensarbete var att automatisera testprocesser för att kunna utföra kontinuerliga tester. Första steget i arbetet var att ta fram ett specifikt användningsfall, ett use case, att arbeta mot. Detta skedde genom analys av felrapporter och detta ledde till att nodomstarter definierades som ett första användningsfall.

In process oriented organizations, it is important to have well-functioning work processes tosupport the work being performed. In order to accomplish this, the organization has to makecertain decisions regarding the design and usage of the processes. This master thesis is based ona case study of a work process that is being used for the industrialization of products at Ericssonin Katrineholm. The aim of the study is twofold. One aim is to improve the studied process byidentifying improvement opportunities and carrying out the required adjustments.

The purpose of this thesis was to create a communication interface which insures that all the right hardware is in its right place in the IS-node before Ericsson AB delivers it to their customers. One of the first parts of this work was to make sure it is possible to create such an interface for IS. This thesis then explains how to construct an interface that retrieves information from the IS-node into a C#-application. One important part of this project was to collect information and transform it to an XML output with the purpose of then being used in other applications in the future. The application created within the scope of the thesis exports the information retrieved from the IS-node in an XML-file or a text-file.

The purpose of this essay was to overview the conflicts regarding the exhibition space (Kunsthalle) Tensta Konsthall during 2003 and 2004, in order to gain an understanding of the following: why the conflict started, if anyone exceeded their authority, how the case has been reviewed in the press, what kind of value judgements lay behind the actions and why this case has received so much attention. By studying mainly press material and political documents it has been made clear that Tensta Konsthall?s location in an ill reputed suburb of Stockholm has been the cause for its exposure to different demands and expectations compared to other similar exhibition spaces.
