Högdalstoppen är konstruerad med myter och rykten. Och av teglet från Klara-kvarteren. I vissa ljus är det en ruin, ibland en bortglömd allmänning. Bland sly och trasiga lyktstolpar går du på avvägar, så plötsligt: du ser ett hörn av ett gravröse, ett monument. Att betrakta och bestiga Högdalstoppen är lika mycket en alldaglig som en storslagen upplevelse.

Computers together with Internet have been growing enormously, during the last decade and the area of information technology has been growing in the same speed. As long as the surrounding environment evolves, the business models must within the IT-area, keep the same pace. So, how do business corporations handle this change to attract customers? How do the dominant business models look like? In many cases, they are apparently much the same. But what differences can we see and what areas can be improved? We have showed that the IT area isn?t just one, it consist of several segments.

Examensarbetet utgörs av en sammanfattning av tre genomförda nybyggnadsprojekt. Foton, ritningar och skisser visar hur arkitektoniska koncept omsatts från vision till verklighet. Gemensamt för projekten är att målbilden varit inriktad på nytta, identitet och mervärde. Kanal 5 i Stockholm är en mindre glasbyggnad som blivit en symbol för omvandlingen av ett helt innerstadskvarter, där verksamheterna ändrats från industri och hantverk till arbetsplats för idéprojekt och mediaproduktion. Byggnaden fungerar som huvudentré till äldre lokaler som renoverats. Stadsutveckling.

PLANERA FÖR FÖRTÄTNING GENOM PÅBYGGNAD - "Karlsson på taket", saga eller verklighet?

SAMMANFATTNING Det har hittills inte varit så vanligt att bygga ovanpå befintlig bebyggelse i Sverige. Snart kan det dock komma att bli mer vanligt, i arbetet för att åstadkomma hållbar stadsutveckling och i takt med att byggbar mark allt mer blir en bristvara i våra städer och tätorter. Dessutom kan det bli lättare att ta tak i anspråk för bebyggelse genom att den nya lagen om tredimensionell fastighetsindelning trädde i kraft 1 januari, 2004. Det är viktigt att börja planera, redan på översiktsplanenivå, för förtätning genom påbyggnad. Det behövs för att förbereda sig för framtidens byggande och för att skapa en dialog med fastighetsägare och hyresgäster om framtidens bostäder, som snart kanske byggs på deras tak. Vid planering för förtätning genom påbyggnad måste många aspekter beaktas och det måste ses ur flera olika perspektiv.

The main objective of this thesis is to study the brand manager?s role within a global business to business (B2B) company. In order to meet the main objective we have chosen to study and analyse one global B2B company, Alfa Laval AB, Alfa Laval DK, Alfa Laval PL and its co-partners such as an advertising agency. We have also studied three global business to customer (B2C) companies, Mars, Unilever and Nestlé, to get a picture of brand managers? role and responsibilities within the B2C environment which is already quite far ahead in the development of the brand management thinking..

Bokhögstubbar i Klåveröds strövområde : utbredning, egenskaper och betydelse för rödlistade vedlevande skalbaggar

Lack of dead wood is the main cause of decaying or loss of populations for many forest species. To increase the amount of dead wood is a prerequisite to maintain biodiversity in forests of northern Europe. In summer 2006 the recreation area Klåveröd, at Söderåsen in Skåne, Sweden, has been inventoried for high stumps (snags) of beech, (Fagus sylvatica). The result of the inventory has been compared with data of the real estate and forest management directories from the owner, region Skåne. The results have also been matched with the results from an inventory of saproxylic beetles in 2005, performed with windowtraps on selected snags both in the area and the adjacent national park Söderåsen. 594 snags were found on 747 ha.

Företagsvärdering i praktiken : Hur bör en säljare agera vid företagsöverlåtelse?

It is important to understand the process of appraisal of a business in order to establish its value. The purpose of our thesis is to establish which methods and models are used when evaluating a business and investigate the factors that may affect the value and price tag of a business. We have used a qualitative approach by conducting both indepth interviews and a survey as well as reading literature within the field. The main conslusion in our findings is that the common practice of discounted cash flow is widely used when bestowing a monetary value for a business, and in order to raise the value a well established customer relationship was the single most important factor. As far as lowering the value, the answers were of such a wide spread that a single factor could not be attributed.

Släpp ut parken! : gestaltningsprogram för Larsberg på Lidingö

Larsberg på Lidingö byggdes sent sextiotal i tidstypisk anda. En ny stadsdel anlades med fj orton tiovåningars skivhus, tre lägre lamellhus och ett mindre centrum för service och handel. Området anlades som hus i park, på det viset att man lade bostadshusen i en stor båge kring befi ntlig natur som genomskars med gångvägar och kantades med extensiva gräsytor. De öppnare ytornas solitärträd har med tiden lyckats skapa vacker rumsbildning och som besökare i parken fi nner man en stor kvalitet i den ständiga glänta som skapas mellan vildare natur och det gräsbeklädda landskapet. Tyvärr håller inte övrig miljö samma klass. Mellan husen är funktioner dubbelt inramade av växter och staket.

Denna rapport beskriver examensarbetet vi gjort för LBS Science Park AB. Anledningen till att vi gjort just denna applikation var att LBS Science Park såg ett problem i den Internetbaserade hästannonsmarknaden. Det fanns ingen ledande annonssida, utan användare som skulle sälja eller köpa hästar fick använda sig av flera mindre sidor. Vår uppgift blev att undersöka marknaden och att skapa en applikation som samlar annonser från flera hemsidor på vår applikation. Rapporten är indelad i tre huvuddelar, som belyser de juridiska, de tekniska och de innehållsmässiga frågorna.

There is a mutual dependency between the business world and the country?s municipalities. The municipalities are dependent on the companies to create work and tax income while the companies are dependent on the municipalities they are located in to provide good infrastructure among other things.Apart from this the municipalities can work activly with creating a strong brand in the eyes of the companies and many researchers in marketing agree that marketing of places will be more common in the future. Marketing of municipalities is however still a rather new and unexplored area and it is uncertain how and to what extent the municipalities work with this.The thesis is formulated:How are the municipalities working to market towards companies and is it possible to make out any positive change from these marketing efforts?The goal of this study is:Our goal is to examine how the view of marketing of places differs from different municipalities in the Stockholm region, how some of these municipalities work with this and how far they have come in this work.

Jakten på en trygg oas i en torr öken : En studie om varför studententreprenörer väljer att delta i självorganiserade företagsnätverk

The aim of this study is to, by developing ideal types, describe why studententrepreneurs participate in self organised business network. The investigation is based on answers from 41 participants in the business network ?Företagare på Lnu?, as well astwo semi-focused groups, which where analysed by using Webers (1978) ideal types.The investigation shows that there are several reasons for student entrepreneurs to participate in self organised business network. For instance some people participate to gather knowledge from other student entrepreneurs for their own future, since they have an idea of soon starting their own business. Others participate just for the fun of knowing what?s going on at the university..

Gymnasieskolans samverkan med det omgivande samhället : En studie i hur dagens näringsliv och gymnasieskolans näringslivskontakter återspeglas i företagsekonomiundervisningen vid två gymnasieskolor

Non-compulsory schools in Sweden should make use of the knowledge and experience that is available in society according to the aims and objectives of the Curriculum for the Non-Compulsory School System - Lpf 94. There are however only a few studies which have focused on the contacts between non-compulsory schools and society as represented by the business world in Sweden.The purpose of this study is to examine in what ways and to what extent non-compulsory schools are following the Curriculum by using the knowledge and experience of the business world. The perspectives have been: Which contacts in the business world and which working practices from the business world are implemented in teaching in non-compulsory schools? In what way do these contacts and working practices affect the teaching and learning of business administration? The purpose of this study is also to examine if the teachers in non-compulsory schools use business information and different kinds of business knowledge and experiences in order to keep themselves up-to-date regarding the business world. The perspectives have been: Are the teachers using up-to-date business information or business experience? Are the teachers applying a multicultural perspective in teaching business studies? In what way does this kind of information or first-hand experience affect the teaching and learning of business administration?The method used in this study was to interview seven teachers from two non-compulsory schools in Stockholm.
