The public interest in central living in today?s cities has led to an increasing effect of traffic noise pollution, and today 20% of the inhabitants in Sweden suffer from noise a level that exceeds the limits. At the same time the traffic keeps increasing, and recent researches shows that traffic noise pollution and several of today?s most common health issues are connected, for example, reduction of performance, sleeping issues and cardiovascular diseases. For this cause rules, guidelines and environmental goals has been developed, as well as software?s which calculates the levels of pollution, all this to investigate and improve the environment.

Through a case study, I wanted to find out what advantages and disadvantages local companies consider with scrum and what they think about its future. To find out what scrum is, I read the literature and scientific articles and then wrote surveys based on my thoughts. Further, I also wanted to find out if it?s possible to use scrum in a school environment and therefore I visited a high school class who used scrum in one of their projects. The result was good but could have been better as it requires more training of scrum to understand everything. The surveys were distributed to various local companies. After having received a lot of answers, I concluded that the clear priority was the most positive feature of scrum and the most negative was that it was difficult to get the rest of the organization to understand scrum, which creates problems. Both high school class and local companies believe in scrum?s future, even if they think scrum will be partially modified to adapt to the software-development in the future. According to the survey responses, the most important to get the projects to be successful both now and in the future is that everyone who work with scrum is right educated..

Hur varierar proteinsammansättningen i ölet genomölbryggninsprocessen och hur stor skillnad är det mellan kornmalterna. Syftet med mitt examensarbete var att se hur proteinsammansättningenförändrades under olika steg av en ölbryggningsprocess.Proteinsammansättningen delades in i 3 grupper: 1) albuminer ochglobuliner, 2) hordeiner och 3) gluteliner. Dessa protein jämfördesmellan 2 sorters malt för att se om någon skillnad kunde ses.Ölen bryggdes efter ett standardrecept för pilsneröl. Under ölbryggningsprocessen togs prover ut vid bestämda steg och tidpunkter.Proteinsammansättningen bestämdes genom analysmetoden SDS-PAGE.Resultat: visade att ingen synbar skillnad på proteinsammansättningen mellan malterna kunde ses.Proteinsammansättning i de olika stegen var däremot tydlig, albumineroch globuliner är de enda protein som finns kvar i det färdiga ölet, varavde flesta är z-protein. ..

This report is the documentation of a project in the education Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The project was carried out at Alfakonsult AB. The purpose of the project was to map out the transference of information between the different operators in the supply chain of medicine in Sweden and to analyse this in order to reduce lead-time and the total throughputtime. The supply chain of medicine in Sweden consists of producers, distributors, one wholesaler, prescribers and patients. The mapping of the transference of information showed that most operators in the supply chain have done well introducing technical aids to facilitate the transference of information.

The radio protocol used by the system is developed by Lansen with the purpose to be energy efficient. The alarm systems target groups are individuals, businesses and government agencies. The current system is installed, configured and controlled from a control panel for all audiences.

The company Sound Precision has developed a new Line Array loudspeaker system (VHA-40). When using this system, their customers need computer aid to get the best possible sound-quality and control of sound levels for the whole audience. The aim of this thesis is to develop a truly useful sound quality simulator for the VHA-40. The system will help the sound engineers to position the loudspeakers for optimal sound by simulating loudspeaker configurations and visualizing the resulting sound quality and quantity. To solve this a human-centered design (HCD) approach is taken to implement a system that is truly useful for the users, meaning that they will use it more and hence deliver better sound for the audience.

För ett flygbolag är det viktigt att ha en effektiv planering av sina resurser. Att kunna utnyttja personal och flygplan på rätt sätt är en förutsättning för en fortsatt överlevnad på marknaden. Flygbolagens tjänstebestämmelser regleras idag enligt nuvarande BCL-D 1.15. Under våren 2004 har Luftfartsverket behandlat en remiss som utgör ett förslag på en eventuell förändring av dessa tjänstebestämmelser. Remissen är ett förslag som skall gälla det gemensamma regelverket EU-OPS.

A substation must be properly protected against lightning and other external effects to the equipment in the station or staff, for that we use relay protection. They should also protect against internal errors which may occur as ground faults. There are different types of protection relays, but most common are overcurrent-, distance-, residual current- and differential protection.The purpose of this thesis was to deepen our knowledge of relay protection and to use the theoretical knowledge we got from the university studies in the work process. In the process we discovered which parameters were the most essential and calculated these for all relay protections on the substation. We also carry out a comparison between two brands of relay protection, ABB and Alstom.During our work we will test and simulate the over-current relays in a program called NEPLAN, the program will also calculate the fault currents.

The work has been carried out in cooperation with the company Zenit Design in Malmö. The project's goal was to restore, improve and produce an ozone generator. During the project, the authors sought relevant literature in databases, been in contact with US suppliers of fuel cell membranes, Asian suppliers for the processing of Teflon and Titanium parts in mechanical engineering and Swedish suppliers of various standard components. The authors had access to a temporary lab at Zenit and electron microscope at Halmstad University where material tests were performed. The authors have also had access to measurement equipment to measure amounts of ozone.During the work, the authors have mapped how an existing ozone generator works and then have their own development.

This bachelor thesis includes two different manuals and design of an interface box between a test object and a general test station (computer) with ARINC429 communication.There are three different purposes with this project:The first is to setup a general test station with ARINC429 communication using a communications card from DDC (DD-42916i3-300) and software from Ampol Technologies (dataSIMS).The second is to design a new interface between the test computer and the test object. As well as implementing two components in the equipment.The third is to write two separate manuals to guide the users of this equipment. There are two different kinds of users of this equipment, technicians and system engineers. Technicians use the equipment to test and repair flight components. System engineers will implement new components in the equipment.The result of this project is a working test station with a new interface and two manuals..

Physical activity can reduce the risk of developing dementia, and studies show that people who already have some form of the disease can get a better memory function and find it easier to perform daily tasks if the activity is performed regularly. People who are diagnosed with dementia are generally not offered physical activity to a high extent, nor is there a wide range of equipment developed to suit the target group.The Bike Around project was launched during a workshop in Copenhagen and was organized by HCH and Techna Science with the aim to develop new training equipment for people with dementia. The workshop resulted in the development of a customized training bike where the user can get a biking experience from his wheelchair or favorite chair. By integrating the pedal movement with a prerecorded movie projected on a screen, the memory can be stimulated both visually and by the activity itself.Our assignment in the project consisted of three parts: design of the bike, movie playback and software programming. Även informationssystemen måste ibland förändras och kraven på ett nytt informationssystem anges i en kravspecifikation. Denna kravspecifikation upprättas i den del av systemutvecklingsarbetet som kallas för requirements engineering (RE).Denna rapport är ett examensarbete inom det systemvetenskapliga programmet vid Högskolan i Skövde.
