The system will help the sound engineers to position the loudspeakers for optimal sound by simulating loudspeaker configurations and visualizing the resulting sound quality and quantity. To solve this a human-centered design (HCD) approach is taken to implement a system that is truly useful for the users, meaning that they will use it more and hence deliver better sound for the audience.

The management of water resources and waste water varies between the countries of the EU. For many years, a large part of the water in Europe has been contaminated by, among other things, insufficiently treated waste water and emissions from agriculture. The EU Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC and the Urban Waste Water Directive 91/271/EEC are intended to harmonize fresh-water management and waste water management within the whole EU, aiming at safeguarding drinking water of good quality and a high quality of all water within the EU today and in the future. There are however some problems concerning the waste-water directive. One problem is the huge investment needed in Slovakia to fulfil the demands of the waste-water directive for waste-water management in larger communities (with more than 2000 inhabitants).

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka ungdomars möjligheter och begränsningar till idrottsutövande under fritiden. Idrott är ett populärt fritidsintresse bland barn och ungdomar,enligt Riksidrottsförbundets undersökning från år 2004 tillhör idrott generellt det näst populäraste fritidsintresset efter umgänge med kompisar som kommer först bland barn och ungdomar. Studien är baserad på kvantitativ metod och totalt har 121 ungdomar deltagit i studien.Ungdomarna i studien är i åldern 12- 13 år och bosatta i Luleå kommun. Resultaten i studien visade på att föräldrarnas yrkestillhörighet och intresse för idrott påverkade ungdomarnas idrottsliga intresse på fritiden. Vidare fanns det skillnader i ungdomars ekonomiska förutsättningar för idrottsutövande samt föräldrarnas möjligheter till skjutsning och hämtning till idrottsanläggningar.

This essay is a comparison according to the ideological thoughts about womens position in the society of Mao Zedong och Josef Stalin. The material I have analysed is writings by Mao and Stalin, in a wide range from leaflets to orders to the armies of the states of China and the Soviet Union. The method I have used is an ideological analysis where the attitude towards women is the target for my survey. The attitude towards women generally was not unified in the world during the time for Mao and Stalin. In many countries the women was intended to take care of the children and the home, not be active in working and fighting.

Syftet med denna studie var att utifrån ett socialkonstruktionistiskt perspektiv och ett Foucault-inspirerat diskursanalytiskt ramverk visa på några av de sätt att tala om och förstå den bildterapeutiska processen som finns tillgängliga för och används av bildterapeuter. Syftet var även att beskriva hur dessa sätt att tala kan påverka bildterapeuter i det bildterapeutiska arbete de bedriver. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med semistrukturerade intervjuer med bildterapeuter. I resultatet lyftes tre distinkta sätt att tala om processen fram, som gav den tre olika innebörder. Dessa tre diskursiva konstruktioner framställde den bildterapeutiska processen som en blottläggande process, som en experimenterande process och som en reflekterande process.

The purpose of this paper is to see which ethical content arguments have in the debate about wolfhunting, particularly with regard to the Svensk Jakt respective Tidningen Djurens Rätt's arguments. The method used in this paper is the analysis of arguments in which I investigate the pro and contra arguments of the four authors of the articles that I have chosen to study. I will avail myself of theories from Carruthers and Franklin. Analysis shows that the authors of the Swedish hunting above all have a ecocentric view of the wolf where it is an instrumental value for the ecosystem, and the authors of Djurens Rätt's has especially a biocentric view of the wolf where it may be an absolute value, but they can also extend to the that the wolf has instrumental value in the ecocentric perspective. The discussion has shown that Djurens Rätt's and Svensk Jakt has a common position that is an ecocentric perspective where the wolf has instrumental value, even though they believe that different actions are different law to protect the species and the ecosystem..

Buller från järnvägen utgör ett stort problem för de närboende och Banverket satsar därför stora resurser på olika åtgärder för att minska störningen. Ökade krav på lönsamhet inom godstrafiken medför krav på högre hastigheter och höjt tillåtet axeltryck, vilket verkar negativt på omgivningen i form av ökat buller. Bullerproblem kan reduceras genom skärmar och vallar i olika utföranden, fönsterbyten på fastigheter och i svåra fall inlösen av fastigheten. För effektiv resursanvändning är det viktigt att veta vad man kan förvänta sig för effekt av exempelvis en skärm. Skärmeffekten beror bland annat på konstruktionsprincip, storlek, material och placering.

Uppsatsen består av beskrivning och analys av USA:s, Kinas, Rysslands och Japans inställningar till en koreansk återförening, samt dessa inställningars bakomliggande orsaker. Hegemoniskolan och neorealistisk teori används för att förklara staternas ageranden i det anarkiska systemet. Ryssland och Kina ställer sig direkt negativa till en koreansk återförening, främst av säkerhetspolitiska och maktpolitiska skäl. Hegemonen USA är i teorin positivt men i har praktiken inte någon policy. Främst önskar de öka sin egen makt i regionen, medan Kina och Ryssland önskar minska den för att bibehålla maktbalansen.

The aim with the study is to find key factors relating to internal marketing and to improve the process between the operating organization and its customers. A qualitative study is carried out within an organization active in the Swedish healthcare. The qualitative approach is carried out by collecting empirical data through observations, personal interviews and group interviews.The Physiotherapy Clinic at the Karolinska University Hospital is in the focus of the empirical study. The study locates existing differences in perceptions and comes up with recommendations for actions to improve the process of organisations within the Swedish healthcare and their customers. The study's results are that internal marketing can bring a lot to service-selling organizations and that the organizations internal conditions are as important as the external ones.Communication appears to be a key factor for an organization that has applied internal marketing.

I centrum för denna uppsats står så kallade autentiska texter. Uppsatsen vill uppmärksamma de teoretiska svårigheterna som är knutna till detta begrepp. Samtidigt vill den visa på de många möjligheter som begreppet kan rymma. För att närma mig detta område har jag valt att kombinera ett teoretiskt och ett praktiskt perspektiv: dels undersöks olika definitioner av begreppet, dels intervjuas två lärare i engelska om deras användning av autentiska texter i undervisningen. Trots begreppets svaga teoretiska grund tycks det ha en relativt stark position inom dagens språkundervisning. I uppsatsen hävdas att ett grundläggande ifrågasättande kan öppna för en djupare förståelse av begreppet. Det handlar inte om att ogiltigförklara begreppet, utan att upptäcka det på nytt.

Denna rapport syftar till att undersöka i vilken utsträckning stridsvagnskompanichefer skiljer och/eller liknar ?commanders? (i spelet ?Battlefield 2?) i sitt sätt att skapa och upprätthålla situationsmedvetenhet med avseende på riskbedömning kopplat till fiendens position i slagfältet. Studien grundar sig på en tanke om att utnyttja positiva effekter från datorspelande, i morgondagens ledningssystem genom att bygga ledningssystem grundade på en kommersiell spelplattform. Resultaten pekar bland annat på skillnader mellan de båda aktörernas metoder för att uppnå full situationsmedvetenhet, men även på vissa likheter som till exempel att se på en situation med fiendens ögon för att bedöma hur denna kommer att agera..

We have, after three years of studying at Södertörns University Collage, experienced that there is great division in the classroom between students of foreign origin and ethnically Swedish students. The aim of this study is to understand what impact the student?s social orders has on the position they choose in the classroom.
