Detta examensarbete har utförts på Peab division Väst, en del av Peab-koncernen som är ett av Sveriges största byggföretag. Studien syftar till att ur ett byggföretags perspektiv identifiera vilka områden som bör mätas med hjälp av indikatorer för att bli en hållbar samhällsbyggare.Hållbar utveckling är ett begrepp och förhållningssätt som ständigt växer och anpassas mot olika branscher. Tankesättet är dock det samma oavsett bransch, att uppfylla dagens krav och behov utan att äventyra kommande generationers möjligheter att tillgodose sina behov. Peab har fram till idag inte haft en tydlig strategi för hur företaget ska arbeta mot en hållbar utveckling, men i och med den nya visionen som togs fram hösten 2010 är tanken att företaget ska hitta ett arbetssätt att förhålla sig till. I samband med visionen framställdes en definition som bygger på begreppet hållbar utveckling och innehåller riktlinjer för en hållbar samhällsbyggare.Peab vill uppnå en hållbar produktion, där kan varje färdigt byggprojekt ses som en slutprodukt.

Miljonprogram is a Swedish building program from 1964 to 1975. During that time about a million homes were constructed. Now, almost 50 years later, they are in desperate need of renovation. In order to fulfil the Swedish environmental objective to decrease energy consumption 50 per cent until 2050, considerable housing stock built under the Miljonprogram has to be renovated.Focus in this thesis is on the building services and theirs profitability that can decrease energy consumption in households build during the Miljonprogram. Building construction is not considered in this report.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med uppsatsen är att studera lärares attityder till skrivregler, undervisningen om skrivregler och målen i kursplanen som rör skrivregler. Jag har också analyserat resultatet på ämnesprovet i syfte att utforska samband mellan lärares attityder till sin utbildning, undervisningens innehåll och elevers resultat. Specifikt vill jag ta reda på vad fem lärare har för uppfattning om sin undervisning i skrivregler och elevernas resultat i stavning och interpunktionsmomentet på nationella ämnesprovet i åk3.Hur ser lärare på sin egen utbildning i skrivregler?Vad berättar lärare om undervisningen i svenska i allmänhet och utifrån aspekterna formella och funktionella moment i undervisningen?Vad berättar lärare vars elever gjort proven angående elevernas resultat i relation till sin undervisning i skrivregler?Metod Jag har använt kvalitativa samtalsintervjuer för att samla in mina data. Fem svensklärare med olika yrkeserfarenhet i åk3 på fyra olika skolor har intervjuats.

Hela 85 % av byggnadsmaterialen i ett nybyggt hus består av hälso- eller miljöfarliga material. Detta måste förändras! Ekologiskt byggande handlar om att undvika dessa material i så stor utsträckning som möjligt och samtidigt reducera uppvärmningen och tappvattenförbrukning med hjälp av energieffektiva installationer. Att det går att minska de miljöfarliga materialen i ett hus är självklart, men är det möjligt att bygga ett hus med nästan inga miljö- och hälsofarliga material? Vilka tekniska lösningar är att föredra vid ekologiskt byggande? Hur utformas ett ekologiskt hus?Syftet med detta examensarbete är att hjälpa Eksjöhus att ta fram ett ekologiskt anpassat enfamiljshus och därmed bidra till ett sundare boende och en bättre miljö. Förundersökningar i form av utredningar av material, installationsmöjligheter och arkitektonisk utformning av ett ekologiskt hus ligger till grund för framtagning av huset och är en mycket viktig del i rapporten.

För att kunna hantera konflikter krävs olika kompetenser, vilka som krävs och hur vi behärskar dessa genom olika erfarenheter som vi skapat oss i olika sammanhang är en central fråga i denna studie. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka vilka kompetenser sektionschefer inom statliga myndigheter upplever sig behöva för att hantera konflikter på arbetsplatsen mellan sina medarbetare. Vi vill också belysa under vilka omständigheter de samlat på sig dessa erfarenheter. För att besvara syftet tog vi hjälp av följande frågeställningar: ?vilka kompetenser anser sektionschefer vara relevanta för att hantera en konflikt??, ?vilka tidigare erfarenheter anser de vara användbara?? samt ?hur använder de sig av tidigare erfarenheter för att hantera konflikter på arbetsplatsen??.

Teknologi har blivit en viktig del i barn och ungdomars liv. Spel, kommunikation, bloggar, skolarbeten och att umgås via sociala nätverk tillhör aktiviteterna online. Syftet med den här litteraturstudien var att utifrån ett teoretiskt perspektiv där bland annat Actor-Network-Theory (ANT) ingår belysa och utforska barns och unga människors interaktioner på och med Internet och det lärande och förutsättningar för hälsa som kan skapas. Tjugotre artiklar från tidskrifter med en disciplinär bredd, som bland annat innefattar utbildningsteknologi, psykologi, socio-logi och mediakunskap, har studerats. Interaktion var ett genomgående tema i artiklarna.

Den rättvisa i staden är en utopi, något som alltid bör eftersträvas och prioriteras vid stadsplanering. Genom att analysera staden och dess utveckling utifrån stadskvalitéerna demokrati, mångfald och rättvis fördelning så kommer också de beslut som tas få mer rättvisa utfall. Örebro stadskärna har sedan 70-talet och framåt behandlats som två skilda områden, norr- och södercity. Detta har under åren förstärkts och majoriteten av resurserna har lagts på södercity, stadens handelscentrum. Nu pågår ett utvecklingsarbete där Örebro kommun tillsammans med fastighetsägarna vill utveckla norrcity till en mer attraktiv stadsdel som kan komplettera södercity.

AbstractThe research project Liberation, supported by the European Commission under the Environment and Sustainable Development Programme (Fifth RTD Framework Programme) aimed at developing a decision support system for ecological risk assessment of contaminated sites has proposed a tiered system including the triad method. This method integrates contaminant chemistry and bioavailability analyses with observed ecotoxicological effects in soil and groundwater. In this study the triad method was used to perform a risk characterization of a former surface treatment and metal industry, now used for the student union buildings of the Mälardalen University in Eskilstuna, Sweden. On the site, high concentrations of copper, zinc and nickel have been detected in the soil in a preliminary investigation of contaminant levels with XRF. For performing the risk assessment of the site according to the triad method, contaminant bioavailability, soil metal concentrations and soil toxicity were determined and an ecological assessment was carried out on four selected soil samples (one reference soil and three samples with low (B), medium (C) and high (D) contaminant levels). Contaminant bioavailability was measured through leaching (ISO TC 190/S7) and biouptake tests (DGT).

Starting point to this Paper is the idea and wish to adapt the society and its different activities to a recycle society. A building area in Göteborg is planned and investigated for such adaptation. In the district named Skogaberg, about 130 households totally are planned from what 20 are blocks of flats. The idea with this project is to constitute an alternative sewage system, a Blackwater system, were the fractions of most nutrients and least pollution are separated, taken care of and utilised. The aim is to get a market and use the nutrients of the organic waste from the household in agriculture use.

This thesis aims at examining to what extent a few, algorithmically very easily extractable document features can be used to classify electronic documents according to genre. A set of experiments is therefore carried out, using only 11 such simple features in an attempt to classify 84 documents belonging to electronic academic journals into three manually identified genres: table of contents, article, and review. The 11 features are also divided into three sets, containing metrics of words and sentences; punctuation marks; and URL links, respectively. The performance when using these sets of features is then measured with regard to classification accuracy, using a k-NN classifier, four different values of k (1, 3, 5, 7), and both leave-one-out and 10-fold cross-validation. Best results are achieved when using all three feature sets (i.e.

BAKGRUND:  Skattepolitiken kan bidra till att människors villkor förbättras eller försämras. Detta har sällan belysts i folkhälsovetenskapen. Skattereformen 1990/91 finansierades delvis med höjda indirekta skatter. De dynamiska effekter, som utlovades inför skattereformen 1990/91, uteblev. Snart efter reformens införande visade SCB:s undersökning av levnadsförhållanden en ökad oro för familjens ekonomi hos befolkningen.SYFTE: En jämförande analys före och efter skattereformen av lättare psykisk ohälsa med en beskrivning av skattereformens effekter på typfamiljer samt reformens effekter på samhällsnivå.METOD: Litteraturstudie och analys av tillgänglig statistik från SCB.RESULTAT: Under 90-talet ökade den lättare psykiska ohälsan bland såväl yngre som medelålders.
