Social enterprises make up one of the groups of participants that provide welfare services financed by public funding. The object of this study is to describe and analyze from a theoretical point of view which conditions, in what fields, by which division of responsibility and finally through what decisions these social enterprises are allocated a place in the market for social welfare services. The company that has been the object of study offers services in the field of social welfare and in employment. In the study a triangulation of qualitative methods has been used: studies of literature on the subject, recurrent interviews and observations and also reviews of documents. The results have been analyzed from theories on the space available on the market for social services, on social economy and on social capital in the form of strong, weak and bridging bonds.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the politics and activities of the Social Democratic students´ association Spartakus. Their relationships and political and ideological differences towards the Swedish Social Democratic Party (SAP) and the remaining parts of the Social Democratic youth organisation (SSU) in Linköping during 1969-1971 are examined. To fulfil this aim I have studied relevant literature and interviewed people who were active in Spartakus, as well as people from SSU and SAP in the municipal during the period. I have also studied written material produced by the students´ association itself during the period. The theoretical frame of reference consists of Dahl´s theory on a democratic political order, and party theories like the mass party theory of Duverger, theories from Sjöblom, Panebianco, Lipset and Tingsten and also Gidlund&Möller´s theory about different kinds of party members.

The purpose of this essay is to explore the social services work with crime victims in Sweden, according to Chapter 5, § 11 of the Social Services Act. The study examined how social workers define the victim and assessing and prioritizing victims' needs. It has also been central to study how social workers interpret and understand the regulation of social services responsible for crime victims.Qualitative interviews with 18 social workers is the basis for the study. The analysis of the social services work with victims based in the above-mentioned interviews. The interviews analyzed using the sociology of law theory.

This study explores how online television works and how it is integrated with social media such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs. Through three qualitative interviews with representants from different fields of work regarding online television, we have concluded how online television is being used in Sweden today and concludes with examples of what the future of online television could look like. Representatives from the following companies have been interviewed: SBS Media Group Sweden, Strix Television and Mediamätning i Skandinavien. The use of social media for marketing of online television is a fact for the companies in this study. However, the result of the study shows that theres room for development in the integration between online television and social media.

The implementation of this research increases the awareness of the value for luxury fashion brands in utilizing social media as a communication channel to reach young consumers globally. It provides a general understanding of young consumers? perception of luxury fashion brands on social media in regards to geographic cultural background, attitude towards new luxury, and preferred way of contacts..

The purpose of this study is to investigate how social media can affect and influence the B2B-relationship. Social media is now a widespread and accepted tool for communication in many B2C-companies; therefore we find it interesting to examine how social media can find its place in the communication mix of B2B-companies. We are also aiming to distinguish standards in how social media is practiced and discussed in the context of the B2B-market. We have applied a qualitative method for this study and we have interviewed seven respondents, which are experts in social media or working with market communication at B2B-companies in Sweden. During our study we have identified several comparable attributes within the B2B market and their opinions about how social media should be approach and adopt in the communication mix of the company..

The aim of this essay was to study if social workers have a gender awareness in the social work they perform and if it appears in the assessment of needs and intervention. A qualitative vignette study with four social workers who handle adult- and addictive clients have been performed. Gender theory is used to interpret the empirical results. The results of the study show that social workers doesn´t see any differences in the clients situation, or make any different assessment of needs depending on if the client is a man or a woman. Social workers also propose the same interventions to men and women.

Vår uppsats handlar om att utvärdera, och nyttan med att utvärdera, socialt arbete. Nyttobegreppet definieras, både teoretiskt och utifrån en verksamhet och dess mål, och vi presenterar hur man i verksamheten gör för att utvärdera nyttan och målen i densamma. Uppsatsen är en så kallad intressentutvärdering och utifrån denna jämförs några av intressenternas definitioner av nytta med utilitarismens. Vi redogör också för några utvärderingsmodeller, nyttan med dessa, samt vilka modeller man använder i den aktuella verksamheten. Materialet har insamlats genom intervjuer och samtal med handläggare, personal och chef inom verksamheten och vi har utgått från våra frågeställningar i faktainsamlingen.

The purpose of this study was to examine how the needs of social assistance for people with substance abuse are assessed in accordance to The Swedish Social Services Act 4th chapter 1§. The purpose was also to examine how substance abuse is assessed as a social problem by social workers, how the municipal guidelines concerning social assistance for substance abuser were constructed in relation to the Social Service Act and finally how social workers made their assessments of the need of social assistance to people with substance abuse in relation to the legislation. The sample was made among the municipalities in the county of Stockholm. Municipal guidelines were studied in 18 municipalities by content analysis. A sample of 11 social workers was chosen from 5 municipalities.

En jämförelse av hur två skolor i en kommun i Norrbotten organiserar sin specialpedagoiska verksamhet. Vårt syfte är att beskriva och analysera faktorer som är av betydelse när skolan organiserar sin specialpedagogiska verksamhet. Vi utgick från föjande frågor: På vilket sätt organiserar skolan sin specialpedagogiska verkasamhet? Finns det en skillnad i organisationen mellan två skolor i samma kommun? Har skolan ett kategoriskt eller relationellt perspektiv i sin specialpedagogiska verksamhet? Kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med två rektorer, två klasslärare, en specialpedagog och en speciallärare för att ta reda på hur de på olika organisationsnivåer ser på den specialpedagogiska verksamheten. Efter avslutat arbete kan vi inte peka på några skillnader i hur de båda skolorna organiserar den specialpedagogiska verksamheten.

Background: There has been a process of de-institutionalisation and mental health care re-forms in Sweden. Social services are, according to the law, responsible for helping persons with mental illness to live a life like others and to participate in the community. The aim of the study was to describe the culture in one of the social services adult day care center for social relations and activities in Stockholm. The aim was also to focus on the importance of the adult day care center for recovery and empowerment from the participants´ perspective. Methods Observations in the adult day care center were combined with four interviews with regular participants.

Denna studie handlar om hur pedagoger tänker kring utformandet av en god matematisk verksamhet i förskolan. I studien framhålls pedagogers förhållningssätt i arbetet med fokus på matematik. Syftet med studien är att synliggöra pedagogernas synsätt kring matematik i förskolans verksamhet samt hur de lyfter matematiken. Syftet är även att synliggöra hur en möjlig implementering kan se ut.Studiens empiri utgår från intervjuer med fem pedagoger. Dessa pedagoger har ett medvetet förhållningssätt kring matematik i förskolans verksamhet.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur några elever uppfattar estetisk verksamhet och hur de uppfattar sin skolas arbete med dessa verksamheter. Undersökningen är gjord efter en komparativ metod med beskrivande karaktär, vilket innebär att elevernas utsagor jämförs i analysen med resultat från en tidigare studie. Undersökningens resultat bygger på sju semi-strukturerade intervjuer med elever från årskurs nio. Intervjumaterialet är transkriberat och kategoriserat utifrån den komparativa metoden och den tidigare studien. Studiens analys är gjord utifrån elevernas och lärare från en tidigare studies utsagor, och tolkade genom en jämförelse med bl.a.

This study focuses on the use of animals in social work from the perspective of social workers. The purpose of this study is to examine social workers? experiences of animal assisted social work and how social workers view the integration of animals in various fields of social work. The research is based on a qualitative method and four semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers. The theories incorporated in the study are Attachment Theory and Sense of Coherence (SOC).The following results are presented: Social workers are considered to have a more comprehensive understanding of clients compared to their associates who do not hold a degree in Social Work.

Bakgrund: Social fobi är en sjukdom där personen har en irrationell rädsla för situationer där personen kan bli iakttagen och bedömd av andra. Rädslan kan vara så stark att det kan vara outhärdligt att vistas i samma rum som andra. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa hur det är att leva med social fobi. Metod: Studien är en allmän litteraturstudie som baserades på femton kvantitativa artiklar och en självbiografisk bok. Artiklarna var publicerade efter år 1995.
