I detta arbete rapporteras hur vanligt det är att gymnasieelever har social fobi. Utöver detta beskrivs även den hjälp elever med social fobi erbjuds i skolan samt hur lärare bemöter dessa elever. För formulering och utvärdering av enkäterna har den inom psykiatrin använda definitionen av social fobi, DSM-IV, använts. Andelen gymnasieelever med social fobi uppskattas till 16,5 %. Utöver dessa elever med social fobi känner drygt 20 % oro och obehag vid sociala situationer utan att uppnå kriteriet för social fobi.

In the age group 16-25 years, the Internet is the most powerful source of information. This age group is also the main user of social media. The purpose of this study was to investigate young people's experience of social media and any associations between social media and adolescents health by answering the questions: ?how does young people use social media?, ?what risks can occur in young people's use of social media? and ?how can social media influence young people's lifestyles?. The survey was conducted by a quantitative cross-sectional study using questionnaires.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur de fattigas- samt rättighetsperspektivet kommer till uttryck i Sveriges politik för global utveckling. Uppsatsen ämnar också att diskutera samstämmighetspolitikens prestation utifrån en jämförelse mellan Barometern och handelspolitiken i PGU. The aim of this study was to illuminate critical factors that facilitate respectively obstruct the novice nurse's development during her first year in the profession. The method used was a systematic literature review according to Goodman's model. The 8 qualitative scientific articles were scrutinized by using a form developed by Pedersen and Sigling (2002). The result shows that cognitive factors, stress, social factors as well as affective factors are critical during the novice nurse's first professional year. I styrdokument och internationella överenskommelser förordas lärande för hållbar utveckling som ett övergripande perspektiv som ska anläggas i all undervisning. Lärande för hållbar utveckling karaktäriseras av att komplexa hålbarhetsfrågor av ekologisk, ekonomisk och social art behandlas på ett pluralistiskt sätt, vilket syftar till att ge eleverna förmåga till övervägda etiska ställningstaganden.Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur begreppet lärande hållbar utveckling behandlas i läroböcker i biologi för grundskolans senare del. Detta studerades genom en kvantitativ innehållsanalys med kvalitativa inslag. Studien undersökte vilket utrymme lärande för hållbar utveckling får i läroböckerna, men också vilka innehållsliga aspekter av hållbarhet som förekommer. Dessutom studerades huruvida läroböckerna verkade främjande för pluralistiska arbetsformer.

Designkoncept på ett mingelbord har tagits fram och redovisas i bilder. Dessa bilder är resultatet av en uppmodellering i datorn med hjälp av 3D-progam.

This study examines the connection between social capital and involvement within voluntary associations; involvement is defined either as being a member in an association or a member who has some kind of assignment in an association. The study also examines if there is a difference between two social economic groups regarding the attainment and transformation of social capital through being involved in a voluntary association.Social capital is defined as social trust and the willingness of collective action.The result of the research shows there is a slight connection between the involvement in voluntary associations and social capital. It shows that people who are members of a voluntary association often have higher social capital than those who are not members of any voluntary association at all. The study also shows that there is a difference in attainment of social capital between those who have some kind of assignment in a voluntary association and general members.When studying social capital and involvement in voluntary associations it is also of interest to take social class into the analysis, because the study shows that people with a lower education had increased social capital when they were members in an association compared to the members with a higher education..

The purpose of our study is to describe and understand whether, and if so, how social workers in school and in social services construct computer gaming adolescents as a social problem. We chose social workers who encounter adolescents with different problems. We have conducted qualitative interviews with vignettes to capture the social workers' reasoning about computer gaming adolescents and how they handle this in their work. The study shows that all social workers we interviewed had encountered adolescents with troubling computer gaming habits. In the study, all agree that computer gaming becomes a problem when it leads to deviant behaviour such as not going to school, staying up all night and so on.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete är att belysa hur undervisningen i skolan utformas så att elever får kunskap om hållbar utveckling och att arbetet mot en hållbar utveckling blir en integrerad del av skolan och elevernas handlingar i vardagen. Ett annat syfte är att konkretisera hur undervisningen i skolan utformas så att arbetet mot en hållbar utveckling skapar möjlighet för eleverna att få nya insikter om hur de praktiskt kan agera och göra miljömässiga val. Den metod vi har använt är en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Resultatet av arbetet är att det finns olika arbetsmetoder för att nå en mer hållbar utveckling och att skolor och lärare kommit olika långt i undervisningen. Uppsatsens syfte har varit att konkretisera vad en socialt hållbar utveckling skulle kunna betyda för det sociala arbetets vardag. Vilken plats socialarbetarna har att fylla och vilken typ av praktik som skulle utformas om syftet var att främja en socialt hållbar utveckling. För att bryta ner syftet med uppsatsen i mer lätthanterliga bitar har jag formulerat ett antal frågeställningar; -Vad betyder begreppet socialt hållbar utveckling? -Vilken roll skulle det sociala arbetet kunna ha i en socialt hållbar utveckling?-Vilka kompetenser och konkreta handlingar behövs hos den enskilda socialarbetaren för att socialt arbete ska vara del i en socialt hållbar utveckling?.

The aim of this study is to examine social workers' and social work students' attitudes towards people living with hiv in Sweden. I will also examine if there is a connection between knowledge and attitudes. The questions at issue are how social workers' and social work students' attitudes can assume to influence on their professional practice and what causes can affect their attitudes towards people living with hiv. The study is based on a qualitative method. The methods have been: conversational interviews with five social workers, who work with family issues and integration, and a focused group interview with four social work students.

The aim of this study was to understand the contact between foster homes and social workers, by doing a comparison of the social workers and the foster homes experiences of the cooperation that is between them. We started from three main questions to get an answer to our aim, how the foster homes and the social workers experience the organization of the foster care in the Social Service as an impact of the cooperation, what does the foster homes and the social workers experience as a important fact of a successful placement and finally, how does the foster homes and the social workers experience the supporting and controlling contact that is between them. To get our results we based our study on interviews whit four foster homes and whit four social workers. The analysis was based on one theoretical perspective, Skaus (2007) analytical approach for power and help. As a conclusion we have found out, that the organization of the Social Service has significance for the contact between social workers and foster homes.

The study aims to gain insight into how social workers perceive their psychosocial work environment and examine whether this effects the performance of their duties. The study mainly addresses the shortcomings of the psychosocial work environment of Social Services and the implications it entails for social workers health and wellbeing. The psychosocial work environment includes physical and psychological factors therefore the study's interpretive framework consists of organizational theoretical and social psychological concepts and previous research on the subject. We examined the organizational and social psychological connections to social workers perception of their work environment with a qualitative approach. The empirical data was collected through interviews with four social workers in a municipality in central Sweden using a semi-structured interview guide.
