Denna uppsats ämnar öka förståelsen för vad som gör att en del platser är trygga och andra platser är otrygga med utgångspunkt i fyra av Malmös bostadsområden. För att besvara uppsatsens frågeställningar har en kombination av kvalitativa och kvantitativa undersökningsmetoder genomförts. Analys av respondenternas svar har bidragit till identifiering av tre kategorier av fritextsvaren. Resultatet av uppsatsen visar att upplevelser av fysisk och social oordning samt kriminalitet/gäng anges som viktiga faktorer för vad som gör en plats otrygg. Visuell kontroll som främst syftar till belysning har visat sig vara en annan viktig faktor, dock inte lika viktig i områden med majoriteten individer av utländsk bakgrund.

The aim of this essay was to understand how teachers identify and deal with the problems surrounding economic vulnerability among their students.  A qualitative study method was conducted by seven semi-structured interviews with teachers from a big city in Sweden. When analyzing my result I found support in Goffman's stigma theory as well as in previous research. The teachers identify economic vulnerability amongst their students through their material belongings, when the class does something extraordinary, and through how the students communicate. Problems that the teachers can see in the classroom for economically disadvantaged students are that they can be aggressive, unruly and become introverted. Problems with studies and shoplifting are also common.

Syftet med studien är att se hur Kriminalvårdens säkerhetsavdelningar kallade Fenixavdelningarna legitimeras, genom att göra en kritisk diskursanalys av synen på fångarna som placeras där. Vi gör det för att skapa en förståelse för de diskursiva processer som påverkar den kriminalpolitiska utvecklingen. Avsikten var att se till diskursen om de Fenixplacerade i ett dialektiskt förhållande till de institutioner som upprätthåller en särskiljning av fångarna inom fängelsesystemet. Studien är genomförd utifrån en kvalitativ ansats med Faircloughs metod av kritisk diskursanalys utifrån ett socialkonstruktivistiskt förhållningssätt. Den teoretiska ram som används är bland annat Foucaults teorier om den disciplinära makten, Goffmans om stigmatisering samt Maslows psykologiska teorier.

Denna studie belyser hur två myndigheter och en organisation arbetar med frigivna fångar med mål att nå en förändring. Återfall i brott är ett vanligt problem, 44 procent av alla frigivna män i Sverige återfaller inom tre år. Brist på uthållighet och låg självkänsla är två orsaker till återfall. Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ studie baserad på information från tre informanter som arbetar på KRAMI (ett samarbete mellan Arbetsförmedlingen, kommunen och socialtjänsten), KRIS (Kriminellas revansch i samhället) och Arbetsförmedlingen. Vårt syfte med studien är att undersöka vilka metoder som används för att hjälpa de frigivna att hitta och behålla ett arbete. Vi vill även titta på vad orsakerna bakom återfall kan vara och hur våra informanter arbetar för att motverka återfall. Vårt val av teorier är Careership, stigma och Focault's maktteori.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how social workers perceive the concept of knowledge within social services, particularly within children and youth services. Our goal is also to study the employer's expectations and demands on graduate social workers. The main questions we address in this thesis are; What knowledge is seen as useful by employers and graduate social workers working in social welfare offices? To what extent does university education bring useful knowledge to the work being done by social workers? What practical knowledge is there in the workplace for social workers to learn? When recruiting, what expectations does the employer have of graduate social workers? What challenges are there with recruiting a graduate social worker?We have interviewed six social workers and four employers in the social childcare division in different municipalities in Skåne region, Sweden. We have used epistemology in our analysis.

AbstractThe aim off this study is to research social workers´ knowledge, use, risks and possibilities of social media in their work with clients. Because today the society is using social media networks in daily life and social media has become a tool in social work as well. How does social media and social work cooperate? And how does social media effect social workers? For example the website Facebook has grown huge and many people use it everyday. Where is the line between work and private life? To reach this knowledge in this study, qualitative interviews have been done with six social workers that work with children, youths and families.

This B.Sc. Thesis examines how Swedish Large Cap companies communicate CSR in social media. We describe the current state of CSR communication in four different social media channels, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, and blogs. This research, supported by interviews with stakeholders and a quantitative survey, analyses the potential risks and benefits from communicating CSR via social media and provides concrete advice on the development of a CSR communication strategy for social media. Although some benefits have been realized, many companies have failed to truly reap the potential benefits from an effective social media strategy for CSR.

The purpose of this thesis is to find out the reasons and perhaps some answers to the problem as we see it, the sickness benefit expiration of those who experience this. By this said we have also taken into account the different laws and adjustments in the long-term sickness benefit, but also major reformation of the security net in the Swedish society. The efficiency of the law on passive long-term sickness absence was added in July 2008, but was later in January 2010 supplemented. The purpose of this law wasn?t only to reduce the long-term sickness absence but also to reduce exclusion.

The purpose of this study is to examine how pupils in high school see on the subject violence, and see how their experience of the subject is. The purpose of this study is also to see how common violence is belong juveniles and to examine their attitudes among the subject. We will in our examine and research among violence in the Swedish schools get an insight of how the violence in the school looks like and how wide spread violence really is. We want threw our objective sight and by using quantitative and qualitative interview methods give you readers an insight to the daily school world, we want to find out how the pupils themselves experience the school environment and what cautions teachers and other staff take to reduce this problem. Our main question is: ? What kind of vision do the pupils have on violence in school, and what can be a factor to the increasing violence in the schools of Sweden.

The main purpose of this study was to examine own and social influence on perfectionismwith individual athletes. The participants (n= 96) of this study represented ten different sportsand their ages was between 15 and 44. An interview with four of the participant wasconducted. The instruments used for this study was the Positive and Negative PerfectionismScale (Terry-Short et al., 1995) and for the interviews questions was based on own and socialinfluence. The results showed that there was a relationship between positive perfectionismand own influence, negative perfectionism and own influence, negative perfectionism andsocial influence.

Människor med kognitiva svårigheter är en bred målgrupp med varierande problematik. Forskning om målgruppen finns och intresset för målgruppen har ökat. Föräldrar med kognitiva svårigheter finns däremot inte omnämnda i någon större uträckning i forskningen. Den här studien är en litteraturstudie som fokuserar på föräldrar med kognitiva svårigheter och deras interaktion med förskola/skola. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten är socialkonstruktionism.

Today the school is a given place for preventing social problems. The school struggles continuously to live up to the expectations of balancing preventive social work with pedagogy in a satisfactory way.The purpose of this essay is to get a picture of priorities of social work in school. I want to know what it is that affects and controls the principal's decision about what kind of social project they will accept and be a part of.This essay shows that only one of the eleven principals interviewed apply projects based on evidence when they decide about participation in a social project. Instead, the decisions are based on references from other schools. The reason why the principals do not base their judgement on projects which are based on evidence is because they consider the search for results too time consuming.When there is no requirement that a certain part of the social work in a school must be based on evidence, it leads to the children taking part in different social projects which we can not guarantee are good for them.One solution can be to guide the principals through a national social teachingplan, which can assure that social work based on evidence are being applied in the municipality schools as well as the independent schools..

This thesis investigates and analyses the social media strategy of eight companies. How the companies measure and evaluate their activity and investments in social media channels in general, and Facebook in particular is studied through qualitative interviews. The findings are then compared and analysed. Findings indicate that companies' social media presences to a large extent are dependent on individual employees with high levels of interest for the area and that companies that have integrated social media into their others operations see more value from their efforts..

Denna antologi tar upp barn och ungdomars livsvillkor i nutid och belyser identitetsskapande i olika sammanhang. Vi utgår ifrån att den identitetsskapande processen i stor utsträckning påverkas av social interaktion. Alla har vi belyst olika aspekter av vardagliga sociala sammanhang som kan vara betydelsefulla för barn och ungdomar. Våra fyra studier omfattar skolelevers identitetsutveckling från lågstadiet till gymnasiet.Den första delen i antologin innefattar barn i åldrarna sju till åtta år och deras identitetsskapande tillsammans med andra barn och lärare i skolmiljön. Därefter behandlas högstadieelevers uppfattning om skolmiljöns betydelse för identitetsskapandet.

Den här uppsatsen syftar till att ta reda på om det finns något samband mellan social kompetens och stress. I uppsatsen presenteras vad social kompetens är och vad stress är. Sambandet har undersökts med hjälp av enkät med 16 slutna frågor, 8 som handlar om social kompetens och 8 som handlar om stress och en öppen fråga på slutet. Urvalet, som var ett bekvämlighetsurval, var 60 anställda på olika arbetsplatser i Karlskrona, av dem erhölls 52 svar. Med hjälp av en Pearsonkorrelation och en fenomenologisk analys visade det sig att det finns ett samband mellan social kompetens och stress.
