Syftet med studien är att belysa föräldrars attityder till läxors betydelse för socialt umgänge och barns inlärning. Avsikten är också att ta reda på föräldrars inställning till hur läxor påverkar barns utveckling, vilket syfte skolan har med läxor, samt belysa de orättvisor som kan framträda i samband med läxor. Fyra föräldrar intervjuades och resultatet visar att föräldrarna har en positiv erfarenhet av läxor. Eftersom målet med undersökningen är att få kunskap om människors inställning valdes en kvalitativ intervjuundersökning. I undersökningen framträdde intressanta diskussioner kring huruvida läxor är rättvisa mot eleverna och vilket ansvar skola, föräldrar och elever har i läxläsningen.

Vår upplevda hälsa påverkas av hur vi lever. Idag lever vi i stress och har höga krav på oss själva och andra vilket påverkar vår hälsa. Många lever idag med psykisk ohälsa. Idag finns det forskning som visar att djur och natur har positiva effekter på människors upplevda hälsa. Genom forskningen har verksamheter med hjälp av djur och natur skapats för att få personer med psykisk ohälsa uppleva en bättre hälsa.Syfte: syftet med uppsatsen är att få en förståelse för hur rehabiliteringsprocessen inom grön/djurrehabilitering, där djur och natur är grunden för hälsoarbetet, påverkat deltagarnas hälsa i form av beteende, sätt att tänka, syn på sig själv och Social samvaro.Metod: En kvalitativmetod användes i form av enskilda intervjuer.Resultat/analys: Resultatet som togs fram visades att djuren och naturen hade flera positiva effekter på deltagarnas upplevda hälsa både direkt och i ett långsiktigt perspektiv.

Behovet efter utbildad personal och sjuksko?terskans ansvar att kunna ge sto?d och hja?lp till demenssjukas anho?riga o?kar da?rfo?r ocksa? da? en demenssjukdom pa?verkar hela familjen.Syfte: Syftet a?r att beskriva anho?rigas upplevelser av att ha en na?ra familjemedlem med demenssjukdom.Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie enligt Evans (2002) analysmetod har anva?nts fo?r att analysera 12 stycken kvalitativa artiklar. Nyckelfynd sammanfo?rdes och bildade tre teman och sex stycken subteman.Resultat: Resultatet pa?visar att anho?riga upplever blandade ka?nslor av att en na?ra familjemedlem fa?tt diagnosen demenssjukdom.

Many social services cases have been reviewed in the media during the last years. One of those cases is ?Lasse and Karin?, handled by the Social Services in Oskarshamn in 2002. Lasse and Karin had their son taken into custody by the Social Services and the case was reviewed in national media. Through this case the Social Services received much attention, of which most was negative, and their handling of the case was greatly criticized.

Problem/Bakgrund: Arbetet behandlar sociala strukturer och samvaro mellan medlemmar i studentföreningen Ateneum och undersöker hur de diskurser som ligger som grund för den politiska gemenskapen påverkar sättet att umgås och tala om sig själv.Syfte: Mitt syfte är att redogöra för hur gemenskapen medlemmarna emellan konstrueras och reproduceras utifrån deras politiska ideologi.Kortfattad beskrivning av uppsatsens utgångspunkter och undersökningens upplägg: Jag använder mig av kvalitativ metod där fokus ligger på den individuella upplevelsen ur ett etnometodologiskt perspektiv. Jag ger en bakgrundsbeskrivning av föreningen och redogör för mitt metodologiska tillvägagångssätt samt eget intresse och förförståelse för fenomenet. Detta följs av ett avsnitt om mina teoretiska utgångspunkter och därefter analysen. Arbetet avslutas med en sammanfattning.Slutsatser/Resultat: Upplevelsen av gemenskapen i föreningen präglas av motsättningar mellan diskursen om öppenhet och tolerans för skilda åsikter och diskursen om en enad ideologisk front där medlemmarna gör anspråk på en "sann" tolkning av verkligheten. Den senare genererar motstånd mot gällande politiska doktriner och tar sig uttryck i olika motståndsstrategier, som i sin tur för medlemmarna närmare varandra.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how five public libraries reason about the use of social media in their day-to-day work. This thesis aim to answer three research questions: What is the libraries use of social media today? How do libraries look upon their own use of social media? And have the libraries formulated any goals about their use of social media, and what are their thoughts on this? The methodology used in this thesis is a content analysis of the libraries social media and a questionnaire interview which was sent by mail to all of the libraries involved. The theoretical framework for the thesis is a model developed by Jochumsen, Hvenegaard Rasmussen and Skot-Hansen.The results of our study shows that the room of meetings, from the theoretical framework, are the most represented in the content of the social media used by the libraries. The libraries find that social media is a good way to connect and communicate with their users, but they feel that the time they spend on their social media is not enough.Our study also shows that most of the libraries have not formulated any goals for their use of social media, and that they do not have any intentions to do so..

The aim of this paper was to examine how social workers' comprehension of the need of financial aid exists in, and is influated by, the organisation they work in. To investigate this, we asked ourself questions concerning how the social worker view the way that the finicial aid-system and work surrounding it is formed, whether the social worker's understanding of the need of financial aid co-exists with the percieved common understanding of the work place (do the understandings coincide, do the social worker adjust his or her understanding or is it possible to have a separate understanding), whether the social worker feel that he or she have discretion to influence the organisation and how possible conflicts between different views are handled. We felt that a qualitative method would best help us answer these questions. We therefore interviewed seven social workers working in the same organisation. We then looked at our material from an organisational theory perspective, focusing on the individual in the organisation.We found that the social workers were socialised into the organisation and adapted the norms and values that existed there.

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative approach to get an understanding of what is expected of social workers targeted towards women managers in social services. Nine social workers were interviewed. The empirical data was then analyzed on the basis of gender theory. Respondents did not see their supervisor as a manager but more as a social worker with special tasks. Our empirical data indicates that there is a strong belief that men and women possess different properties.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the social worker?s perspective on working for the government as a professional in care of children, in relation to the family's right to self determination. The essay's empirical material is gathered from qualitative, semi-structured interviews with social workers who work with children and youth in communities and districts in Skåne and Stockholm City, Sweden. The analysis was conducted in line with theories of social constructivism. The results and analysis show that the interviewed social workers did not believe that the state has too much power over the citizen.

The purpose of this study was to examine how some social workers in Sweden describe the social work with unaccompanied children. Emphasis was on the role of culture in social work with the unaccompanied children. I wanted to examine how the social workers describe their view on social work with unaccompanied. The current research examined whether motives, traditional mass media consumption and individual differences (social activity and political interest) predicted the use of social media among a group of university students in China. In coherence with Uses and Gratifications assumptions the study found that the factors differentially predicted the extent of media use. Information seeking, social interaction and affinity were the main reasons for using social media. There was a negative correlation between television viewing and use of social media, in addition to a negative correlation between information seeking and use of the media. Results further suggest that social media are used to enhance social capital, since student?s being socially active offline, tend to use the media to a greater extent than those less active..

Den här uppsatsen syftar till att ta reda på om det finns något samband mellan social kompetens och stress. I uppsatsen presenteras vad social kompetens är och vad stress är. Sambandet har undersökts med hjälp av enkät med 16 slutna frågor, 8 som handlar om social kompetens och 8 som handlar om stress och en öppen fråga på slutet. Urvalet, som var ett bekvämlighetsurval, var 60 anställda på olika arbetsplatser i Karlskrona, av dem erhölls 52 svar. Med hjälp av en Pearsonkorrelation och en fenomenologisk analys visade det sig att det finns ett samband mellan social kompetens och stress..

Det kan vara en fördel att problematisera kring detta genom att även ha teorier som inte fokuserar på att aktivitet är en förutsättning för att kunna uppnå ett gott åldrande i åtanke då vikten av aktivitet undersöks. The aim of this study was to look at introduction for staff in a social service office and the social workers experience off the first period at a new workplace. Qualitative interviews have been used as a method of investigating how social workers look at introduction in the workplace and how social workers have experience the first period at the workplace. The empirical material have been analysed by using the theory of Human Service Organizations, street-lever bureaucracy theory and theory concerning work environment.
