Den ekonomiska och monetära unionen är tänkt att öppna den sista dörren, de olika valutorn, för en ännu smidigare handel inom EU. Sverige kommer att stå utanför unionen från start den 1 januari 1999, men de svenska företagen kommer ändå att påverkas av införandet av den gemensamma valutan euron. Syftet med vår uppsats är att se vilka redovisningsproblem som de svenska småföretagen kan koma att stöta på när euron införs i EU-länderna som går med i EMU från start. För att kunna besvara vårt syfte har vi gjort intervjuer med personer insatta i vårt problemområde. Utifrån svaren tillsammans med övrigt material så kom vi fram till att småföretagens redovisning kommer att påverkas i olika omfattning och på olika sätt beroende på typ av företag.

The purpose of this study was to examine and illustrate whether employed social workers, working with supplementary benefits at a social service office, felt stressed. If so was the case, we wanted to investigate if this stress that they felt had any effect on their clients. This study was based on eight qualitative interviews, of which four was with social workers and four was with clients. For a better understanding of our results we used Karasek & Theorells demand-control-support model.The study reveals that the social workers do feel stressed, but they only do so in periods. They declare that they would like to have more time for their work assignments, the meetings with the clients in particulate.

Social games have become a digital phenomenon over the last few years, affecting a lot of peoples everyday life. This paper focuses on how social games can affect workplace relationships. Through qualitative interviews I investigate how people who play with their colleagues experience the social games and their influence on the social interaction in the workplace. 10 interviews were carried out with people from four different organizations. The findings from these interviews were then put in relation to previous research and existing theories concerning workplace relationships and social games.

The following essay investigates emission rights accounting. Presently there are several methods through which emission rights can be accounted for by companies. The rights can for instance be valued at fair value or nominal value and as marketable securities or intangible assets; due to a lack of consensus or clear standards companies use these or other accounting methods to value their rights. This essay investigates whether there is a relationship between the company?s choice of accounting method, the key ratio number of owned emission rights/total assets, the accounting firm used and the yearly result as a sign of earnings management.Through a quantitative study based on questioners and numbers from the annual reports three hypothesis are tested.

This research outlines studies about the relationship between social integration process of Japanese immigrants in Sweden and how social media assists in this process. The purpose of this research includes: To find out the reasons of migration to Sweden for six Japanese immigrants, any difficulties that they faced at the beginning of their immigration process and/or any positive qualities that they found in living in Sweden, whether they have accessed social media since they have moved in, if they do so, how the social media has been used and also, whether the social media has had a role to play in contributing to help their social integration process. In addition, it has been considered whether the participants have plans to return to Japan. In Sweden, there is relatively small Japanese migrant population. This social science research paper is the first in Sweden which explores the immigration process of Japanese migrants into Sweden.

Alltsedan Sveriges inträde i EU (1995) har internationella samarbetsprojekt kontinuerligt ökat i antal, i denna kategori ingår såkallade EU-projekt. Denna rapport syftar till att belysa viktiga aspekter i den administrativa hanteringen av ovannämnda projekt. Fokus ligger framförallt på redovisning och informationsspridning under projekttiden och efter projektets avslut.Den intervjuundersökning som ligger till grund för resultatet bygger på insamlat material ifrån 2 kommuner och 2 organisationer som fungerar som stöd för ett antal kommuner.Resultatet presenteras i form av 7 punkter, vilka anses vara viktiga att beakta vid styrning av EU-projekt. Punkterna kan således ses som en grund för en projektstyrningsmodell. Resultatet visar att många styrproblem uppstår på grund utav informationsbrist, därför diskuteras punkterna utifrån hur de skulle kunna stödjas av ett datorbaserat informationssystem..

Bakgrund och problem: Efter införandet av IFRS 2005 har redovisning av goodwill visat sig vara ett problematiskt område rörande redovisning av förvärv och nedskrivningar. Studier har visat kopplingar till att tillsynen har inverkan på nedskrivningar. Den svenska tillsynen som sköts av börserna har kritiserats av både börsens övervakningschef såväl som av Föreningen för god sed på värdepappersmarknaden. Studier har visat att ett starkt tillsynsorgan bidrar till en jämnare tillämpning av IFRS.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att nå klarhet i hur den svenska redovisningstillsynen uppfattas av Large Cap-bolag i Sverige och hur tillsynen påverkar bolagens redovisning av goodwill.Avgränsningar: Studien har avgränsats till svenska börsnoterade bolag på Large Cap-listan som redovisar goodwill.Metod: Primärdatan är insamlad genom kvalitativa semi-strukturerade intervjuer med alla respondenter förutom med en person som intervjuades via ett mejlformulär. Primärdatan har sedan indelats i kategorier och analyserats med hjälp av tidigare studier inom området.Resultat och slutsatser: Uppfattningen av redovisningstillsynen hos de tillfrågade respondenterna är att tillsynen är bristfällig i sättet granskningen utförs.

The term ?social competence? is widely used by organizations in job advertisements, despite the problems of making a unified definition of it. The purpose of this study is to investigate which features the organizations require, why organizations require them and how the assessment is implemented for recruitment. To answer the purpose of this study, eight qualitative interviews conducted with recruiters from four different staffing agencies. Further a literature study was performed to define the concept of ?social competence? and its meaning, in order to later connect this to the result.

A Social Enterprise is a business that features a mixture of characteristics that originates from the third and private sector. A general conception of Social Enterprises is that they aim to improve social welfare by the use of sustainable business models. The mixture of social and business features has created ambiguity about how to define Social Enterprises. The purpose of this study is to clarify Swedish Social Enterprises as a phenomenon and to examine antagonism that arises from mixing the two different sets of organisational characteristics. This is achieved by conducting a qualitative study of ten Swedish companies that the market considers to be Social Enterprises.

The purpose of this study was to examine divergences in assessments of social assistance in one big and one small social welfare office in the municipalities of Malmö. To examine this we used a qualitative method. We held interviews with social workers and their superiors. At the end of the interviews with the social workers we presented two vignettes, describing different cases of first time applications of social assistance. The social workers was asked to assess whether the application should be granted or not, and motivate their decisions.

This paper examines, through questionnaire, how young students in upper secondary school in Malmo experience social integration. It also contain what they think should be done in order to improve the integration between youth that are ethnic Swedish and youth that have a foreign background. To understand the subject we started with a review over Swedish integration politic and its influence over Malmo and social integration in the country. We have used such theoretical starting points as identity and ethnicity in relations to the social surroundings, social affinity theory and flexible mindedness, making of groups among youth and factors to promote social integration. Our conclusion is that the experience of social integration between the two groups depends on how you experience yourself.

Sedan lång tid tillbaka har mycket diskussioner och debatter framförts kring det starka sambandet mellan redovisning och beskattning och det råder frågor kring om sambandet skall finnas kvar i Sverige eller inte. Det finns mycket fördelar med en frikoppling, men även nackdelar som kan sätta Sveriges redovisningstradition i en förändring.Syftet med uppsatsen är att framföra de olika förändringar Sveriges redovisningstradition skulle kunna utsättas för i samband med en frikoppling och även lista de olika för- och nackdelar med sambandet utefter revisorer och Skatteverket. För att uppfylla syftet har en empirisk undersökning med tre kunniga respondenter utförts. Meningen är att ta reda på hur frikopplingen skulle kunna förändra arbetssättet hos de utvalda respondenterna.Undersökningen som genomförts har visat att det råder mycket separata åsikter och diskussioner kring förslaget om en frikoppling. Det har visat sig att det skulle uppstå fler nackdelar än fördelar för både revisorer och Skatteverket i början av en frikoppling.

Social enterprises make up one of the groups of participants that provide welfare services financed by public funding. The object of this study is to describe and analyze from a theoretical point of view which conditions, in what fields, by which division of responsibility and finally through what decisions these social enterprises are allocated a place in the market for social welfare services. The company that has been the object of study offers services in the field of social welfare and in employment. In the study a triangulation of qualitative methods has been used: studies of literature on the subject, recurrent interviews and observations and also reviews of documents. The results have been analyzed from theories on the space available on the market for social services, on social economy and on social capital in the form of strong, weak and bridging bonds.

The purpose of this essay was to examine what Ungbo in Kalmar has meant for the adolescent from their point of view and to examine the social workers opinions of Ungbo.My questions were: What expectations did the adolescent and the social workers have on Ungbo? How has these expectations been fulfilled? What expectations does the social workers think the adolescents has on Ungbo? How is the impact of involvement for the adolescents when planning the living environment in Ungbo? What changes has Ungbo brought to the adolescent? What changes has Ungbo brought in the work of the social workers? What does Ungbo mean for the adolescent? What does Ungbo mean for the social workers and what experiences does the social workers have on the importance of Ungbo for the adolescents? How has the teamwork been working around the adolescent during the time at Ungbo?The questions were answered by asking four adolescents and two social workers with their experiences of Ungbo. My study showed that Ungbo was of importance for the adolescents that has been a part of the project, but it is also important in the work of the social workers. The adolescents noticed a change in them selves after their stay in Ungbo. The social workers were positive to Ungbo but they felt a need for others resembling activities in Kalmar..

Leasing är en viktig finansieringskälla för företag och därför är det viktigt att redovisning av leasingavtal ger användare av finansiella rapporterna en fullständig och begriplig bild av företagets leasingverksamhet. Under ett flertal år har normgivare och andra intressenter debatterat kring att redovisningen av leasingavtal måste förbättras. Den nuvarande standarden, IAS 17, har kritiserat för dess komplexitet, bristen på jämförbarhet mellan enheter samt att den inte uppfyller användarnas informationsbehov. År 2010 publicerade IASB ett förslag till ersättning av befintlig redovisningsstandard, gällande leasingavtal. Reaktionerna var många och 786 stycken remissvar inkom på förslaget, varav 206 stycken från företag och organisationer inom Europa.Syftet med vår uppsats var att undersöka de huvudsakliga åsikterna och attityderna i de remissvar som inkommit från företag och organisationer inom Europa på det förslag som IASB publicerat.
