The purpose of this study was to examine how social services in Örebro working with young people vulnerable to honor- related violence and oppression. Further the purpose was to investigate recognition of guidelines that could act as support in the work with honor- related violence and oppression, and also however the work with these honor-related cases could have an emotional impact on the social worker. To answer these questions a qualitative study using interviews was performed with four social workers in Örebro. The results have been analyzed and interpreted in relation to previous research conducted in the field of honor research. Further three theoretical perspectives have been used in the interpretation of the results; implementation theory, sociology of emotion and coping.

The purpose of this essay was to examine whether there were any differences in social workers way of investigating boys and girls, age 13-15. The main questions we wanted to answer were; which were the factors that the social workers focused on? Did the investigations lead to a measure and if so, which one? How were risk and protection factors described and ana-lysed?To answer our questions we read and analyzed 22 reports, written by social workers 2004 at the department for teenagers and families at a social welfare service in Sweden. We came to the conclusion that there were some differences, but these were few and not extensive. Recreational activities was mentioned in a higher degree in the boys reports while health, housing conditions and network were mentioned more often in the girl´s reports.

Min utgångspunkt vid uppsatsens början var att ta reda på hur lärare uppfattar det pedagogiska ledarskapet och vad som är ett bra pedagogiskt ledarskap? Jag gjorde intervjuer med 8 lärare som var mellan 22 och 63 år. De har en geografisk spridning i Skåne med blandade erfarenheter - givetvis beroende på deras ålder. Samtliga undervisar i nuläget barn mellan 11 ? 13 år. Jag har med min undersökning fått fram att det har stor betydelse i lärarrollen att inneha social kompetens samt ett socialt ledarskap, som lägger vikt vid att alla individer skall må bra och lyckas nå de mål som sätts upp..

Introduction: The health for individuals with intellectual disabilities is asubject that is prioritized by the Swedish Institute for Public Health. Socialsupport has been proven to be important for health and quality of life. Despitethis fact there is no research available regarding the influence social support hason health and quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities in Sweden.Aim: To describe social support and the consequence of social support forhealth and quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Method:A litterature review of research in a defined area with a descriptive design.Systematic searches for articles were done in several databases and ultimately16 articles were chosen. Themes and categories were created with respect to theaim of this study during the analysis of the articles.

The current curriculum requires a well functioning school library and an active use of it. In junior school grades 1-3 the children primarily learn basic skills. Knowledge about libraries and how to use them and different media is part of these skills. Therefore my intention was to investigate how school libraries in junior schools look, how they are used in the training and how they could be used in junior school education. I focus on the pedagogic role of the school library and the library as information center.I begin by going through what the school law and the curriculum say - or do not say - about the use of the school library.

From an organizational standpoint social media has become a way for organizations to get closer to, and create a dialogue with, their environment. Swedish municipalities have began to use social media in their daily communication with the environment, but a problem has been raised about how public organizations should organize their social media when formal guidelines from the government are missing.Objective: The objective of this thesis is to examine how eight Swedish municipalities have organized their use of social media due to the lack of official guidance from the government, and also what difficulties that have occurred during this process.Method: The method used is qualitative with data collected through interviews with one respondent from each municipality.Results: The result show that the organizational solutions varies through each municipality but also the choice of social media. It has been important for municipalities to have someone in charge of the new communication tool since social media is a fast and communicative channel. Seven out of eight municipalities have already developed or are in process of developing their own formal guidelines on how to use social media.

Abstract My purpose of doing this study is to investigate the culture of delivering education in a strange combination of subjects labelled ?Language choice Swedish/English?. The activity however exists without curriculum, syllabus or certification. I want to put study the problem of delivering an educational activity without national certification. I will use a hermeneutic approach and render properly the headmaster?s, the teachers? and the students? views on the activity in one school.

Purpose: The purpose of the essay is; to explain and clarify how the company is acting to lead members in social media to achieve valuable external communication. The authors believe that it is important to act with credibility and quality in social media, to accomplish long lasting relationships. When employees communicate with consumers their conduct is relevant to the company's credibility.Methodology: An inductive approach has been used for the empirical data collection since the authors have been studying the reality without existing theories. A qualitative research method has been used for collecting the empirical material. Primary data was collected from telephone interviews with seven companies, active in social media.Conclusions: The study shows that the power of employees? can be used when designing strategies for social media.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att undersöka hur Monroes idéer (Monroe, 1997) om en framgångsrik skola fungerar på en svensk skola. För att få reda på mer om framgångsrika skolor, har jag studerat aktuell forskning i ämnet. Jag har även besökt en skola i Sverige där man använder sig av denna skolmodell. Jag har valt att använda mig av kvalitativ forskning, där jag har använt intervjuer, samt observation för att samla in data. Bland resultaten kan nämnas att Monroes modell som innebär en stark ledare och tydligare regler ungerar bra på Hjällboskolan som jag har studerat närmare.

Syftet är att undersöka hur grundskollärare upplever elevens möjlighet till lärande. För att komma till en slutsats frågade vi grundskollärare om deras möjligheter att skapa lärtillfällen för sina elever. För att få svar på frågan intervjuade vi några lärare. Studien har en hermeneutisk ansats som vi kompletterar med kvalitativa data. Vi valde en hermeneutisk ansats för att tolka de svar vi fick från våra informanter.

This freedom is referred to as discretion andis a central aspect of the role of the social worker. But the social worker is employedwithin an organisation that exists in an environment influenced of political decisionswhich sets boundaries to how far the freedom stretches. The general aim with thisthesis is to gain insight in how social workers within the Social Services experiencetheir discretion. Globalisering är ett ord på allas läppar och i globaliseringens spår följer ett behov av globala ledare. En global ledare är en person som behärskar förmågan att hantera personal av olika nationaliteter, kulturer och team som befinner sig i olika världsdelar.Sony Ericsson, ett "joint venture" företag i mobiltelefonbranschen, tog kontakt med pedagogiska institutionen på Lunds Universitet för att få utomståendes syn på globalt ledarskap. Inom detta område har vi valt att fokusera på "knowledge sharing" av ledarskapsrelaterade frågor och hur detta kan leda till organisatoriskt lärande.Vår undersökning har utförts med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer av ledare på olika nivåer som alla har konfronterats med utmaningen att leda team i en global organisation.Alla har svårt för att finna den gemensamma värderingen för vad som krävs av globala ledare inom Sony Ericsson. De saknar ett verktyg för "knowledge sharing" av ledarskapsrelaterade frågor. Även HR avdelningen vill ha gemensamma värderingar när det gäller vad som krävs av globala ledare.

När organisationer tvingas förändras för att klara av kraven i omvärlden, ställs det ofta krav på att organisationsmedlemmarna ska förändra sitt arbetssätt eller tillägna sig nya kunskaper och förmågor. Det finns dock en risk för att hinder, av olika slag, hindrar medarbetarnas lärande från att nå upp till de önskade utfallen. Fokus för denna studie är ett produktionsföretag inom livsmedelsbranschen där målstyrning ska införas som ett nytt arbetssätt i en produktionsavdelning. Processen börjar med att produktionschefen under ett antal möten förmedlar grundläggande information till samordnarna, för att skapa ett fundament för deras kommande arbetssätt. Samordnarna förväntas sedan föra vidare sina kunskaper till de övriga anställda i produktionen.
