Many social services cases have been reviewed in the media during the last years. One of those cases is ?Lasse and Karin?, handled by the Social Services in Oskarshamn in 2002. Lasse and Karin had their son taken into custody by the Social Services and the case was reviewed in national media. Through this case the Social Services received much attention, of which most was negative, and their handling of the case was greatly criticized.

I det psykosociala arbetet som h?lso- och sjukv?rdskurator m?ter vi dagligen ber?ttelser fr?n personer med kroniska sjukdomar i sv?ra situationer vilket g?r forskning kring det narrativa f?rh?llningss?ttet betydelsefull. Narrativt f?rh?llningss?tt inom h?lso- och sjukv?rden fokuserar p? att hj?lpa personer ?terta makt och kontroll av sina livsber?ttelser efter att sjukdom gjort intr?de i deras liv (Silv?n Hagstr?m, 2022). Syftet med studien ?r att genom en litteraturstudie n? en kunskaps?versikt ?ver hur det narrativa f?rh?llningss?ttet behandlas inom forskningen i relation till h?lso- och sjukv?rdskuratorns psykosociala arbete med personer som diagnosticerats med en kronisk sjukdom inom den specialiserade h?lso- och sjukv?rden.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur specialundervisningen i en skola i Stockholms lÀn Àr uppbyggd samt vilket förhÄllningssÀtt specialpedagogerna har gÀllande specialundervisningen av elever i behov av sÀrskilt stöd. För att ge svar pÄ syftet har jag tre frÄgestÀllningar: Hur Àr specialundervisningen uppbyggd i en skola belÀgen i Stockholms lÀn? Hur utformas stödet till elever i behov av sÀrskilt stöd i skolan? Anser specialpedagogerna att specialundervisningen kan tolkas bÀst utifrÄn ett inkluderande eller ett segregerande integreringsperspektiv nÀr det gÀller elever i behov av sÀrskilt stöd?Metoden som jag har valt att anvÀnda Àr en kvalitativ forskningsintervju, i vilken jag har intervjuat fyra specialpedagoger som arbetar pÄ en skola i Stockholms lÀn. Det empiriska resultatet analyseras samt diskuteras utifrÄn Peder Haugs teori om segregerande respektive inkluderande integrering och tidigare forskning.Undersökningens resultat visar att specialundervisningen i skolan Àr uppbyggd pÄ sÄ vis att specialpedagogerna arbetar sÄvÀl i klassrummet som i sÀrskilda undervisningsgrupper med elever under vissa timmar i veckan. Att elever i behov av sÀrskilt stöd ibland fÄr gÄ i mindre grupper som sker utanför elevernas ordinarie klassrum, tolkas enligt Haug bÀst utifrÄn ett segregerande integreringsperspektiv.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how five public libraries reason about the use of social media in their day-to-day work. This thesis aim to answer three research questions: What is the libraries use of social media today? How do libraries look upon their own use of social media? And have the libraries formulated any goals about their use of social media, and what are their thoughts on this? The methodology used in this thesis is a content analysis of the libraries social media and a questionnaire interview which was sent by mail to all of the libraries involved. The theoretical framework for the thesis is a model developed by Jochumsen, Hvenegaard Rasmussen and Skot-Hansen.The results of our study shows that the room of meetings, from the theoretical framework, are the most represented in the content of the social media used by the libraries. The libraries find that social media is a good way to connect and communicate with their users, but they feel that the time they spend on their social media is not enough.Our study also shows that most of the libraries have not formulated any goals for their use of social media, and that they do not have any intentions to do so..

The aim of this paper was to examine how social workers' comprehension of the need of financial aid exists in, and is influated by, the organisation they work in. To investigate this, we asked ourself questions concerning how the social worker view the way that the finicial aid-system and work surrounding it is formed, whether the social worker's understanding of the need of financial aid co-exists with the percieved common understanding of the work place (do the understandings coincide, do the social worker adjust his or her understanding or is it possible to have a separate understanding), whether the social worker feel that he or she have discretion to influence the organisation and how possible conflicts between different views are handled. We felt that a qualitative method would best help us answer these questions. We therefore interviewed seven social workers working in the same organisation. We then looked at our material from an organisational theory perspective, focusing on the individual in the organisation.We found that the social workers were socialised into the organisation and adapted the norms and values that existed there.

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative approach to get an understanding of what is expected of social workers targeted towards women managers in social services. Nine social workers were interviewed. The empirical data was then analyzed on the basis of gender theory. Respondents did not see their supervisor as a manager but more as a social worker with special tasks. Our empirical data indicates that there is a strong belief that men and women possess different properties.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the social worker?s perspective on working for the government as a professional in care of children, in relation to the family's right to self determination. The essay's empirical material is gathered from qualitative, semi-structured interviews with social workers who work with children and youth in communities and districts in SkÄne and Stockholm City, Sweden. The analysis was conducted in line with theories of social constructivism. The results and analysis show that the interviewed social workers did not believe that the state has too much power over the citizen.

De tre funktionsnedsÀttningarna ADHD, autism och Aspergers syndrom förekommer hos barn i förskolan. Det Àr fÄ av dem som har en faststÀlld diagnos i förskoleÄldern, men Àven detta förekommer i nÄgra fall. I dagens Sverige gÄr dessa barn generellt i integrerade förskolor vilket utgör en pedagogisk utmaning. Syftet med den hÀr studien Àr att lyfta fram pedagogers upplevelser, syn och arbetssÀtt gÀllande integreringen av förskolebarn med ADHD, autism eller Aspergers syndrom i den sÄ kallade vanliga förskolan. Fyra pedagoger frÄn tvÄ olika förskolor i tvÄ skilda kommuner i mellersta Sverige deltar i kvalitativa intervjuer rörande vilket arbetssÀtt som tillÀmpas, hur de upplever att barnen integreras samt om det finns hinder mot integreringen och hur man eventuellt kan överkomma dessa.

The education in Swedish schools today should be for all children. This means that even if a pupil has reading and writing disabilities the education should be in the classroom with the rest of the pupils. The education should include every one.The aim of my study was to investigate the education with pupils that have reading and writing disabilities. I wanted to get a deeper knowledge about working methods that are used for pupils with these problems.In my study I have used qualitative research methods. I have used group interviews and observational studies.

Patienthotell Àr ett intressant fenomen och det Àr en serviceverksamhet som befinner sig i grÀnslandet mellan vÄrd och hotellverksamhet. DÀrför har vi valt att undersöka hur förutsÀttningar sÀtter krav pÄ ledarskapet i situationen patienthotell. Situationen patienthotell pÄverkas frÀmst av hur integrerade de Àr i vÄrden. Patienthotellens integrering i vÄrden har en kundgrupp som har unika behov som Àr mer kopplade till medicinsk behandling och omsorg. Kundens unika behov krÀver en högre kunskap och erfarenhet hos medarbetarna pÄ patienthotell om kundens behov ska kunna tillfredstÀllas.

The purpose of this study was to examine how some social workers in Sweden describe the social work with unaccompanied children. Emphasis was on the role of culture in social work with the unaccompanied children. I wanted to examine how the social workers describe their view on social work with unaccompanied. I also wanted to examine how the social workers describe their view at their own and the unaccompanied children?s cultural backgrounds influence on the social work with the unaccompanied.

The current research examined whether motives, traditional mass media consumption and individual differences (social activity and political interest) predicted the use of social media among a group of university students in China. In coherence with Uses and Gratifications assumptions the study found that the factors differentially predicted the extent of media use. Information seeking, social interaction and affinity were the main reasons for using social media. There was a negative correlation between television viewing and use of social media, in addition to a negative correlation between information seeking and use of the media. Results further suggest that social media are used to enhance social capital, since student?s being socially active offline, tend to use the media to a greater extent than those less active..

Den hÀr uppsatsen syftar till att ta reda pÄ om det finns nÄgot samband mellan social kompetens och stress. I uppsatsen presenteras vad social kompetens Àr och vad stress Àr. Sambandet har undersökts med hjÀlp av enkÀt med 16 slutna frÄgor, 8 som handlar om social kompetens och 8 som handlar om stress och en öppen frÄga pÄ slutet. Urvalet, som var ett bekvÀmlighetsurval, var 60 anstÀllda pÄ olika arbetsplatser i Karlskrona, av dem erhölls 52 svar. Med hjÀlp av en Pearsonkorrelation och en fenomenologisk analys visade det sig att det finns ett samband mellan social kompetens och stress..

The aim of this study was to look at introduction for staff in a social service office and the social workers experience off the first period at a new workplace. Qualitative interviews have been used as a method of investigating how social workers look at introduction in the workplace and how social workers have experience the first period at the workplace. The empirical material have been analysed by using the theory of Human Service Organizations, street-lever bureaucracy theory and theory concerning work environment. This papers first chapter presents the methodological preferences, the second chapter the theoretical perspective and the results of the study are presented in the third chapter followed by a discussion and ending comments in chapter four. My study showed that introduction is necessary in a complex organisation and could be a way to improve the social workers situation in social service organisations..

I detta arbete rapporteras hur vanligt det Àr att gymnasieelever har social fobi. Utöver detta beskrivs Àven den hjÀlp elever med social fobi erbjuds i skolan samt hur lÀrare bemöter dessa elever. För formulering och utvÀrdering av enkÀterna har den inom psykiatrin anvÀnda definitionen av social fobi, DSM-IV, anvÀnts. Andelen gymnasieelever med social fobi uppskattas till 16,5 %. Utöver dessa elever med social fobi kÀnner drygt 20 % oro och obehag vid sociala situationer utan att uppnÄ kriteriet för social fobi.
