The intension of this study is to investigate the interaction between teachers and social workers in two diffrent countys. The study is focused on how teachers act upon suspicions when there are children at risk and what kind of support the teacher gets from social workers. Another importent question is if the teachers know what kind of rules regarding to confidentiality and if it would be better for the pupils if there were no confidentiality.To get answers to my questions, i have interviewed teachers and social workers in both countys.In this study I assume that the power has three dimensions and that there are four levels of interaction.Due to the law about confidentiality the social worker has the power over the teachers. Because the law about confidentiality it is difficult for teachers and social workers to interact.If the teacher want help from social services, she or he must call the social worker because the social worker will not call the teacher. If the social worker want to help the teacher and give her advice, the social worker can do that without breaking confidentiality.

This study has a double purpose. First, it explores and maps out the use of quantitative key indicators in social performance reporting within a microfinance portfolio. This was done on behalf of Storebrand Asset Management, who would like to aggregate and report the social results of their microfinance investments to their customers. The study concludes that the extent of social reporting and types of indicators used varies, meaning that it is hard to aggregate data for use in further reporting. Thus, the work towards the goal of social reporting has only just begun.

För pedagoger inom grundskolan kan det dÀrför vara betydelsefullt att fÄ en förstÄelse för sÀrskoleelever, deras vÄrdnadshavare och valet av skolform med förÀldrainflytandet och vilka konsekvenser det kan innebÀra, eftersom mötet med sÀrskoleelever och deras vÄrdnadshavare nÀr som helst kan bli en del i en pedagogs vardag. Syftet med undersökningen Àr dÀrför att fÄ ta del av nÄgra pedagogers tankar, attityder och erfarenheter av sÀrskoleelever, deras vÄrdnadshavare och valet av skolform med förÀldrainflytande, för att fÄ en förstÄelse utifrÄn dessa pedagogers perspektiv.

Syftet med följande arbete var att undersöka vilken syn och uppfattning lÀrare och elever har dÄ det gÀller elevinflytande pÄ hotell- och restaurangprogrammet..

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how social workers perceive the concept of knowledge within social services, particularly within children and youth services. Our goal is also to study the employer's expectations and demands on graduate social workers. The main questions we address in this thesis are; What knowledge is seen as useful by employers and graduate social workers working in social welfare offices? To what extent does university education bring useful knowledge to the work being done by social workers? What practical knowledge is there in the workplace for social workers to learn? When recruiting, what expectations does the employer have of graduate social workers? What challenges are there with recruiting a graduate social worker?We have interviewed six social workers and four employers in the social childcare division in different municipalities in SkÄne region, Sweden. We have used epistemology in our analysis.

Because today the society is using social media networks in daily life and social media has become a tool in social work as well. How does social media and social work cooperate? This B.Sc. Thesis examines how Swedish Large Cap companies communicate CSR in social media. We describe the current state of CSR communication in four different social media channels, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, and blogs. This research, supported by interviews with stakeholders and a quantitative survey, analyses the potential risks and benefits from communicating CSR via social media and provides concrete advice on the development of a CSR communication strategy for social media. Although some benefits have been realized, many companies have failed to truly reap the potential benefits from an effective social media strategy for CSR.

The main purpose of this study was to examine own and social influence on perfectionismwith individual athletes. The participants (n= 96) of this study represented ten different sportsand their ages was between 15 and 44. An interview with four of the participant wasconducted. The instruments used for this study was the Positive and Negative PerfectionismScale (Terry-Short et al., 1995) and for the interviews questions was based on own and socialinfluence. The results showed that there was a relationship between positive perfectionismand own influence, negative perfectionism and own influence, negative perfectionism andsocial influence.

Today the school is a given place for preventing social problems. The school struggles continuously to live up to the expectations of balancing preventive social work with pedagogy in a satisfactory way.The purpose of this essay is to get a picture of priorities of social work in school. I want to know what it is that affects and controls the principal's decision about what kind of social project they will accept and be a part of.This essay shows that only one of the eleven principals interviewed apply projects based on evidence when they decide about participation in a social project. Instead, the decisions are based on references from other schools. The reason why the principals do not base their judgement on projects which are based on evidence is because they consider the search for results too time consuming.When there is no requirement that a certain part of the social work in a school must be based on evidence, it leads to the children taking part in different social projects which we can not guarantee are good for them.One solution can be to guide the principals through a national social teachingplan, which can assure that social work based on evidence are being applied in the municipality schools as well as the independent schools..

Arbetslösa invandrare Àr en utsatt grupp, som av samhÀllet ibland uppfattas som ett problem. PÄ grund av detta, genomförs arbetsmarknadspolitiska ÄtgÀrder för att frÀmja denna mÄlgrupps integrering. VÄrt huvudsyfte med studien, var att undersöka hur en grupp invandrarkvinnor upplevde att delta i ett projekt med syfte att integrera dem i arbetslivet och det svenska samhÀllet. VÄrt fokus lÄg pÄ ett projekt som bedrivs i en mindre kommun i södra Sverige. Vi hade för avsikt att undersöka varför kommunen startade projektet, och varför just kvinnor valdes som mÄlgrupp.

This Master's thesis examines segregation between Swedes and immigrants in school, and more specifically segregation between the two elementary schools Vikingaskolan and Tunaskolan in Lund. This case provides a particularly interesting puzzle, since Lund doesn?t have any pronounced immigrant districts, and was also recognized nationally as best municipality for its schools (2004). In this thesis we try to understand the segregation between the two schools in Lund as an implementation dilemma.The theoretical framework applies a model designed by Lennart Lundquist, which includes three potential causes for implementation problems: the implementer doesn?t understand the decision, the implementer can?t apply the decision, the implementer doesn?t want to carry out the decision.

Göteborg Energi has a surplus of district heating during spring, summer and fall. The heat surplus is due to a constant production of waste heat from oil refineries and heat from waste incineration over the year. It would be desirable to increase the demand for heat and the uptime for the newly built combined heat and power generation plant, Rya KraftvÀrmeverk. One alternative could be to integrate Rya KraftvÀrmeverk with a pellet production facility. By producing heat, electricity and pellet in a joint process the energy use can be decreased.
