The aim of this qualitative study was to explore which inner conceptions about the abused older women the professional social workers had and how they experienced the enconter of an abused old woman in an intimate partner relation. The theoretical background is social construction by Berger and Luckmann. This theory was uset to analyze the transcribed interviews. This study is based on nine interviews with five professionals in social services, three volunteers from the voluntary sector and one social worker who worked in a community based support group for abused older women. The result of this study shows that older women were often abused, by a relative they were dependent on, in their home.

Purpose: The purpose of the essay is; to explain and clarify how the company is acting to lead members in social media to achieve valuable external communication. The authors believe that it is important to act with credibility and quality in social media, to accomplish long lasting relationships. When employees communicate with consumers their conduct is relevant to the company's credibility.Methodology: An inductive approach has been used for the empirical data collection since the authors have been studying the reality without existing theories. A qualitative research method has been used for collecting the empirical material. Primary data was collected from telephone interviews with seven companies, active in social media.Conclusions: The study shows that the power of employees? can be used when designing strategies for social media.

Stressrelaterade problem i arbetslivet anses vara den vanligaste orsaken till arbetsbesvär. Inomgruvsektorn kan ökad stress leda till psykiska symptom. Studien utgår från QPSNordic (GeneralNordic Questionnaire for Psychological and Social factors at work) + 34's enkätmaterial ochundersöker skillnad i skattning mellan en grupp anställda och entreprenörers (n=25) psykosocialaarbetsmiljö av relevans för stress. Analysen utgår från enkätmaterialets itemnivå. En signifikantskillnad påvisades där gruppen LKAB - anställda skattade högre inom kategorinorganisationskultur samt förutsägbarhet i arbetet och entreprenörsgruppen inom kategorinarbetskrav.

In November 2006 and July 2007, changes were made to the Social Services Law and the Criminal Injuries Law, defining children who have witnessed domestic violence as crime victims. The objective of our study is to examine if these changes have affected how social workers responsible for child protection inquiries interact with children who have witnessed domestic violence, and to what extent these children?s need of support are taken into account. Qualitative interviews have been carried out with five social workers, with the aim to evaluate how they meet and become aware of these children. Our problem-formulation is based upon the question how social services implement the recent changes to the law.

Syftet är att kartlägga om rektorers och specialpedagogers helhetssyn blir synlig kring eleven med åtgärdsprogram. Frågeställningar vi vill ha svar på i arbetet är:Hur ser arbetsgången ut kring åtgärdsprogram?Hur görs pedagogiska utredningar i samband med upprättande av åtgärdsprogram?Hur beskrivs åtgärder på individ-, grupp-, och organisationsnivå?Eftersom vi båda dagligen kommer i kontakt med elever i behov av särskilt stöd så kändes det naturligt att välja att fördjupa oss i arbetet kring åtgärdsprogram. Med tanke på att vi läser till specialpedagoger så tyckte vi att vi ville ta in specialpedagogens förväntade helhetssyn. Vi förväntade oss att hitta åtgärder främst på individnivå och vågade inte hoppas på att hitta särskilt mycket på grupp- och skolnivå.

Äldre yrkesverksamma är en ökande grupp på arbetsmarknaden. Det är inte ovanligt att stereotypa uppfattningar kring denna grupp resulterar i åldersdiskriminering. Det är även känt att människor förändras, både till det bättre och sämre, genom åren och att detta påverkar individens yrkesutövande. Sex grundskolelärare intervjuades med syftet att beskriva och förstå hur de ser på åldrandet, pensionen, hur de upplever att de utvecklats under åren samt hur de upplever att omgivningen ser på dem. Erfarenheter ansågs vara det mest positiva med att vara äldre medan distansen till eleverna var det negativa.

Aim: The aim was to describe adult patients quality of life after cardiac arrest and resuscitation with CPR. Method: A literature overview based on eight scientific articles and one master thesis. Results: The result is presented in three categories, physical, psychological and social quality of life. Sleeping disorders, fatigue and low energy level affected the physical quality of life in a negative way. The psychological quality of life was often impaired the first time after the cardiac arrest, to be improved over time.

The purpose of this essay has been to examine how the city of Helsingborg´s prevention of alcohol and drug use among youths is laid out. It has been of special interest to examine the youth centers (after school programs) preventive work with youths and its effects on frequency of alcohol and narcotics use among youths.The people we have interviewed are all involved in the three organizations: the youth centers, schools, and social services. The results showed that the youth center staff does not think that they work actively preventive against alcohol and narcotics. On the other hand, the staff at the youth centers points out that just keeping the youths in the neighbourhood and making them involved in the activities at the youth center, is preventary work. The staff at the social services points out that it is not the facilities that is part of the preventive work but the activities and the skill of the staff that is improtant for the youths..

The purpose of this study was to examine how a local newspaper, Landskrona Posten, describes the youth that commit crimes. More specifically the aim was to see what kind of discourse the newspaper had about the young criminal and to see if that picture could create and confirm stereotypes. The theory and method used in the study is a discourse analysis. The study was based on nearly seventy articles that were published in Landskrona Posten in 2006. Three items were identified in the newspaper's description of the youth.

Återigen har ett betänkande om en s.k. "civilkuragelag" gjorts i Sverige, och resulterat i samma slutsats som tidigare: En dylik lagstiftning skulle göra mycket liten skillnad i verkliga livet. Vad som sällan diskuteras från offentligt håll är däremot de bakomliggande faktorer som inverkar på vårt mod att stå upp för moraliska värden eller att säga ifrån vid missförhållanden trots personlig risk. I detta sammanhang är begreppet socialt kapital av särskild betydelse för att belysa påverkande faktorer. Studiens syfte var att mäta attityder kring civilkurage hos en grupp gymnasieungdomar och yrkesarbetande vuxna genom skalan personligt risktagande /mod kopplat till skalor om tillit, social ångest och samhälleligt engagemang, liksom att identifiera attityder till straffsanktionerad lagstiftning på området.

Individuals can with the help of technology live some, in other cases all their social lifes through social media. Therefore organizations has a lot to gain by using social media to interact and start up dialogue with their audicence. There are different views whether a civic society has developed on internet or not.
