The purpose of this essay was to study social workers´ and polices contributions with criminal youth gangs and get an insight in how co-operation in the contributions between these governments comes to rank and works.To find out, we carried out a study with a qualitative design based on document studies and interviews with social workers´ and polices who were meeting youths in their work.Our findings were that it's hard to define a criminal youth gang. The social workers´ and polices have both individual and common contributions with criminal youth gangs. One of their most important lining is to prevent new recruitment of young people to criminality. The social workers´ and polices both have an intention to cooperate but they can?t agree about the method of work they shall use, ?the kid-glove or the whip?..

The phenomenon of social gaming is essentially an IT-service that people worldwideuses on a daily basis. This particular market is also young and generates tremendousamounts of data, which, from a data managing perspective, makes it naturallyinteresting. Throughout this thesis the social gaming market is described from the datamanaging and different actors perspectives. This is done by using literature reviewing,interviews with companies and analysis based on that information. The thesis initiallypresents important and central terms as well as different techniques.

Föreliggande studie bygger på ett dramapedagogiskt arbete inom en specialpedagogisk kontext. Studien har utförts på en resursskola med elever i behov av särskilt stöd. Syftet är att undersöka vilka kvaliteter pedagogiskt drama kan tillföra i arbetet med elever i behov av särskilt stöd, särskilt utifrån förhållningssätt, social interaktion och självkänsla. För att nå detta syfte har det pedagogiska arbetet bestått av att tillsammans med eleverna utföra olika dramaövningar. Vidare har eleverna skapat en musikvideo utifrån deras egenproducerade låt.

Studiens syfte är att få kunskap om hur arbetet med en klientgrupp som avviker från normen påverkar socionomers sätt att förhålla sig till det som avviker från normen. Vi vill tydliggöra hur man använder olika strategier för att hantera det avvikande. Genom att använda perspektiv från sociologi och kulturteori vill vi även placera den professionella rollen i ett större sammanhang. Våra frågeställningar är:Hur upplever socionomer som arbetar med funktionshindrade respektive missbrukare, att de förhåller sig till vad som är normalt? Hur har förhållningssättet förändrats sedan man började arbeta med sin klientgrupp? Kan vi se någon skillnad i förhållningssätt och i hur det utvecklats beroende på vilken klientgrupp man arbetar med? Hur kan en sådan eventuell skillnad förstås? För att förstå socionomers förhållningssätt till normalt/avvikande, har vi intervjuat en grupp kuratorer på en habilitering och en grupp socialsekreterare som arbetar med missbrukare.

The main purpose is to illuminate how a company links certain values to its brand in an effort to achieve a competitive position. We have done this by studying the government owned company Svenska Spel and its entrance on the netpokermarket. With Corporate Social Responsibility as a guidance for the company they wanted to offer Swedish gamblers an alternative to the, often morally dubious, international actors. Our thesis has taken an internal (corporate) as well as an external (consumer) perspective on the result of this strive. Our conclusions are that although Svenska Spel is successfully integrating social responsibility into their netpokerbusiness, they are facing a difficulty in making the consumer fully appreciate it.

Aim: To investigate the quality of life and the social life situation, with special focus on the consequenses of fear of hypoglycemia (FoH), in Islet transplanted patients.Method: 11 patients were included, four women and seven men, who have been Islet tranplanted at Uppsala University Hospital during the years 2001-2009. Two questionaires, Short Form 36 (SF-36) and the Swedish version Hypoglycemia Fear Survey (Swe-HFS) were used to investigate the quality of life, in relation to fear of hypoglycemia. Also, telephone interviews were conducted to investigate the patients social life situation in relation to FoH, after Islet transplantation and were analysed using content analysis method.Results: The mean value for quality of life was lower than that in the normal population. Three out of ten patients experienced FoH. Three predominant themes were revealed, one theme associated with pre- transplant, was ?Struggle for control of Social Life Situation? and two themes associated with post-transplant, were ?Regain power and controll of  Social Life Situation? and ?At Peace with the balance between the Present and the Future?.Conclusion: The patients experienced improved control over social life situation and quality of life in relation to FoH may been improved following islet tranplantation..

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka hur den enskilde elevens självförtroende påverkades då eleverna fick möjlighet att träna sig i att tala inför såväl större som mindre grupper. Vår undersökning genomfördes i en åk 5 där vi med hjälp av handledaren valde ut sex försökspersoner. Dessa elever blev intervjuade både i början och i slutet av praktikperioden för att vi skulle kunna utläsa om någon förändring skett. Eleverna skrev loggbok en gång i veckan och vi förde egen dagbok. Vi arbetade genom att gå från enkla och lekfulla muntliga uppgifter till mer avancerade för att avsluta med ett enskilt framträdande inför grupp, en så kallad soloredovisning.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka om elevernas uppfattning/upplevelse av delaktighet kunde förbättras genom att ge dem förberedande träning inför grupparbete. Undersökningen genomfördes under fem veckor i två klasser i årskurs 8. Eleverna fick arbeta i på fyra till fem stycken elever per grupp. De hade tre arbetspass per vecka. Vi valde att undersöka två grupper i varje klass.

Tillhörighet och att få vara en del av ett socialt sammanhang är nödvändigt för oss människor. Social exkludering utgör ett hot mot individens välbefinnande och har visats påverka individens beteende och åsikter. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om människor är mer intoleranta mot personer de inte känner tillhörighet med, om social exkludering leder till en ännu mer intolerant hållning samt om individens behov av tillhörighet påverkar hur de mår vid social exkludering. I studien deltog 26 studenter varav hälften blev exkluderade under ett datorspel. Deltagarna svarade på enkäter om hur de mådde, åsiktsfrågor och deras behov av tillhörighet.
