Our purpose with this study was to look at the connection between social capital and integration. Particularly if meetings between people from different cultures can increase social capital and in that way affect integration. We start by identifying the social integration perspective we are going to use through out the study and then we introduce social capital theory as a way of narrowing down the field even more. The study was done through six semi structured interviews. We interviewed three women that was established in the Swedish society and three women that had immigration background.

The purpose is to examine social workers view of vulnerable children and their needs. We are also interested to know how social workers think and discuss concerning the help these children are given. Our main questions in our study are; How do social workers define vulnerable children? Which needs do vulnerable children have according to social workers? Which opportunities and difficulties might there be in the decision making when trying to help these children? Which public authorities do social workers cooperate with? Which opportunities and difficulties do social workers find in the cooperation?This study is based upon interviews with ten social workers in the social childcare division in different municipalities in Skåne region, Sweden. Our results are explained and analyzed with a qualitative approach through different aspects of power- and Human Service Organization theories.

Social media has become an important marketing and communication tool worldwide, mostly through the largest social platforms Facebook and Twitter. With two-way communication via Internet companies has gotten the opportunity to interact and communicate directly with their customers. Facebook has been the focus point through the study because it has shown to be the most efficient and frequently used platform for communication. Our study aimed to confirm how communication via social media actually looks like. To be able to reach the best results, we have conducted the study from a phenomenological approach, which means; usage of qualitative semi-structured interviews to reflect the respondents experience on the phenomenon social media as a communication tool. Social media has shown to be a great way of communicating externally for companies who are willing to spend time engaging in the platform.

Syften med detta examensarbete var att få en ökad förståelse av elevers sociala delaktighet i grundskolan. Vi har även studerat vilka framgångsfaktorer som kan stärka delaktigheten utifrån elevhälsans nya mål. Vi genomförde en litteraturstudie med en kvalitativ ansats baserad på fem vetenskapliga avhandlingar, en SOU rapport och tre vetenskapliga artiklar för att skapa oss en bild av elevers sociala delaktighet. Vid analysen av insamlad data fann vi tre huvudkategorier vilka var social inklusion, social exklusion och förebyggande arbete. Dessa kategorier analyserades utifrån Meads interaktionsteori och Antonovskys teori, det salutogena synsättet. Resultaten visade att den sociala delaktigheten inte är självklar för alla elever.

Social enterprises make up one of the groups of participants that provide welfare services financed by public funding. The object of this study is to describe and analyze from a theoretical point of view which conditions, in what fields, by which division of responsibility and finally through what decisions these social enterprises are allocated a place in the market for social welfare services. The company that has been the object of study offers services in the field of social welfare and in employment. In the study a triangulation of qualitative methods has been used: studies of literature on the subject, recurrent interviews and observations and also reviews of documents. The results have been analyzed from theories on the space available on the market for social services, on social economy and on social capital in the form of strong, weak and bridging bonds.

The purpose of this essay is to explore the social services work with crime victims in Sweden, according to Chapter 5, § 11 of the Social Services Act. The study examined how social workers define the victim and assessing and prioritizing victims' needs. It has also been central to study how social workers interpret and understand the regulation of social services responsible for crime victims.Qualitative interviews with 18 social workers is the basis for the study. The analysis of the social services work with victims based in the above-mentioned interviews. The interviews analyzed using the sociology of law theory.

This study explores how online television works and how it is integrated with social media such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs. Through three qualitative interviews with representants from different fields of work regarding online television, we have concluded how online television is being used in Sweden today and concludes with examples of what the future of online television could look like. Representatives from the following companies have been interviewed: SBS Media Group Sweden, Strix Television and Mediamätning i Skandinavien. The use of social media for marketing of online television is a fact for the companies in this study. However, the result of the study shows that theres room for development in the integration between online television and social media.

Palliativ vård infaller när botande behandling inte längre är meningsfull eller genomförbar.Miljön är en viktig del i personcentrerad omvårdnad och syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka patienters upplevelser av fysisk miljö inom palliativ slutenvård. Tretton studier analyserades med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats.Analysarbetet resulterade i fyra kategorier; Att värdesätta hemlikhet och rum för anhöriga;Att vilja välja mellan enskildhet och gemenskap; Att känna välbefinnande av god design, komfort och renlighet; Att kunna ta del av naturen är stärkande. Patienters upplevelser av vårdsalar varierade, att vilja vara ensam eller i gemenskap med andra. En hemlik och merafamiljär omgivning var något som många upplevde som en viktig aspekt. Lyx i den fysiska miljön medförde att patienter kände sig speciella och vidare kunde renlighet symbolisera för god kvalitet inom omvårdnad.

Kan ambitionen att hålla en god gemenskap i arbetslaget vara en riskfaktor för gruppens kunskapsutveckling. Om det är så vilka faktorer kan tänkas sätta krokben för att ny kunskap ska kunna etablera sig mellan kollegor?Att arbeta med människor kräver förmågan att kunna lyssna in, ett sökande efter att förstå den andre. När ett arbetslag ska finna metoder för sitt samarbete uppstår det maktstrukturer som påverkar hur språk och tankar färgar av sig på olika kunskapsområden. Vilken Kunskap som anses vara den ?sanna?.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur och i vilket syfte arbetsterapeuter använder musik i behandling. För att besvara syftet valdes en kvalitativ metod där semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes. Sex yrkesverksamma arbetsterapeuter intervjuades. Intervjuerna analyserades och resulterade i nio kategorier: Att uppnå välbefinnande, Att uppnå känsla av kompetens, Att stimulera till aktivitet, Att uppmuntra social kontakt, Att skapa lugn, Att minska smärta, Att träna och bibehålla fysiska funktioner, Att träna och bibehålla kognitiva funktioner och Att skapa struktur i en aktivitet. Sammanfattningsvis visar denna studie att arbetsterapeuterna tyckte att musik var ett lättillgängligt och bra medel i behandling samt att det gick att använda för de flesta patientgrupper.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how social media can affect and influence the B2B-relationship. Social media is now a widespread and accepted tool for communication in many B2C-companies; therefore we find it interesting to examine how social media can find its place in the communication mix of B2B-companies. We are also aiming to distinguish standards in how social media is practiced and discussed in the context of the B2B-market. We have applied a qualitative method for this study and we have interviewed seven respondents, which are experts in social media or working with market communication at B2B-companies in Sweden. During our study we have identified several comparable attributes within the B2B market and their opinions about how social media should be approach and adopt in the communication mix of the company..

The aim of this essay was to study if social workers have a gender awareness in the social work they perform and if it appears in the assessment of needs and intervention. A qualitative vignette study with four social workers who handle adult- and addictive clients have been performed. Gender theory is used to interpret the empirical results. The results of the study show that social workers doesn´t see any differences in the clients situation, or make any different assessment of needs depending on if the client is a man or a woman. Social workers also propose the same interventions to men and women.

Uppsatsen handlar om hur Hammarby IF:s fotbollssupporterkultur gestaltar sig. Jag har intervjuat åtta supportrar från olika delar av Sverige. Utifrån deras erfarenheter har jag undersökt fem olika teman som beskriver olika delar av deras supporterskap. Uppsatsen handlar i grunden om hur grupptillhörigheten ser ut och uppfattas av supportrarna. De olika temana behandlar; supportens roll, klubbens betydelse för supporten, symboler, klubbens historia, gemenskap, lojalitet, status och medias roll för supporten.
