In order to investigate the perceived Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concept and to indentify what expectations the key stakeholders have on the Pharmaceutical Industry both secondary and primary data has been used. CSR can be perceived as a corporate reputation enhancing tool, however it can also put pressure on corporations to behave as good corporate citizen responsible for thier stakeholders. All stakeholders´ interests therefore have to be consider in order to immprove corporate reputation..

In this paper I will present my research about different kinds of social workers, and there way of looking at and working with adolescents alcohol use. To get my result, we interviewed eight social workers from four different organizations. The Interview participants were people working with adolescents on their spare time, and in the school environment. There were also participants representing social services and the police. The theory that we have chosen to apply to our thesis is systems theory.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the lived experiences and treatment of Muslim women in their encounters with the social services. The primal themes for this study was: How does Muslim women experience the treatment of their case in the social services in a situation of need? How can the encounter and experience with the social services affect the clients trust in the social services?  What is the ideal treatment of women with a Muslim identity by the social services?The aim of this study was to investigate and capture the respondents lived perceptions and experiences with the social services, and thus the qualitative interview methodology was implemented to answer the research questions and hypotheses. Seven interviews with Muslim women were conducted in various districts of Stockholm, a city in northern Sweden. Five of the respondents were of ethnic Swedish origin and two were of other ethic origin.The results show that the majority of the respondents experienced a negative response at least once when in contact with the social services.

After the honor killings of Fadime and Pela, an extensively discussion started in the media, debating honor-related violence and oppression. This debate also made us, the authours of this paper, to pay attention to the problem. As a professional in social work, there are several good points to be made by having an in-depth knowledge in the field, both to discover individuals exposed to honor-related violence and to be able to protect them. The study was conducted by four qualitative interviews with professionals in social work with a professional experience of honor-related problems. Through the interviews, the social worker's view of honor problems emerged.

En tidigare studie har visat att negativa effekter av att känna empati är övervägande på kort sikt medan positiva effekter är övervägande på lång sikt, gällande psykiatripersonal. Med den aktuella studien avsågs att undersöka huruvida liknande tendenser finns hos en generell population. 253 högskolestudenter deltog, och i en mellangruppsdesign besvarade hälften en enkät belysande upplevelser på kort sikt medan den andra hälften besvarade en likadan enkät belysande upplevelser på lång sikt. Resultatet visade att empati har olika effekter beroende på tidsperspektivet även för människor generellt, i form av mer positiva effekter på lång sikt. Denna effekt återfanns bland såväl kvinnor som män, och bland yngre såväl som äldre.

Sjuksköterskor idag har inte förutsättningar till att möta patienter i livets slutskede, eftersom de oftast inte har bearbetat rädslan för sin egen död, och accepterat den som en del av livet. Döden väcker starka känslor, därför är det viktigt att lära sig hantera dessa, för att kunna tillfredsställa patienters psykologiska behov. Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur sjuksköterskor förhåller sig och hanterar mötet med patienter i livets slutskede. Litteraturstudien är baserad på 16 vetenskapliga artiklar, där tre huvudteman valdes ut och redovisades i förhållande till syftet; accepterandet av döden, användandet av copingstrategier samt emotionell distans. Resultatet visar att sjuksköterskan bör hantera känslor och accepterandet av sin egen död för att inte skrämmas av döden, copingstrategier är någonting som används och utvecklas med sjuksköterskans erfarenhet samt att sjuksköterskor ofta väljer att distansera sig emotionellt vid mötet med patienter i livets slutskede för att undvika emotionell stress..

Studiens syfte var att undersöka samband mellan terapeuters känslor och behandlingsutfall. 27 terapier undersöktes, som ingick i forskningsprojekt på Ericastiftelsen; Erica Process and Outcome Study (EPOS) och Målprojektet. Terapeuternas känslor undersöktes med hjälp av självskattningsformuläret Feeling Word Checklist (FWC) och samband mellan skattningar och behandlingsutfall mätt med Children´s Global Assessment Scale (CGAS) undersöktes. Sex psykoterapier analyserades kvalitativt utifrån terapeuternas beskrivningar av terapin i regelbundet ifyllda formulär. Huvudresultaten visar att distans i terapins inledningsfas var förknippat med sämre utfall.

Social mixing går ut på att ?mixa? befolkning av olika klasser i ett bostadsområde med syfte att förändra områdets sociala sammansättning. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka social mixing som urban utvecklingsstrategi i Köpenhamn utifrån boendes egna upplevelser av sina bostadsområden. I Danmark definieras 29 bostadsområden som ?ghetton? utifrån kriterier rörande de boendes anknytning till arbetsmarknaden, ?icke-västliga? härkomst samt kriminalitet.

The aim of this qualitative study was to examine bereaved individuals? experiences of support from their social networks and participation in support groups. The theoretical framework is based on theories about social support and parts of the attachment theory. Data were collected from four interviews and analysed by the study?s theoretical framework.

Människor har ett grundläggande behov av samhörighet och att ingå i en social kontext. På så sätt skapas ett beroende av andras acceptans för att kunna upprätthålla hälsa och välmående. Social exkludering utgör därför ett hot mot mänskligt välbefinnande. I denna studie undersöks hur exkludering och grad av narcissism påverkar tre typer av individers självreglerande beteende; Aggressivitet, risktagande och prosocialitet. Sextio studenter med hög eller låg grad av narcissism tänkte tillbaka på när de blivit inkluderade eller exkluderade.

This paper investigates whether there is a right not to suffer from poverty. The investigation is being conducted from the theoretical standpoint/view that only civil and political rights constitute justiciable rights and rights proper from a moral stance, whereas economic and social rights constitute mere political agendas or less.In the search of an answer to this question the content of economic and social rights, and thereafter civil and political rights will be outlined, followed by an inquiry of what should really be considered as rights. Finally, the arguments against economic and social rights as real rights is presented and scrutinized.This paper will conclude that the stated difference between the above-mentioned sets of rights is illusory and that the right not to suffer from poverty ought to have the same status as civil and political rights..

Urban densification as a planning strategy is of interest in the planning context of today. It is also seen as a part of the sustainable development. Urban densification as a concept is commonly used in the discussion of a sustainable development. Thus, the question about urban densification is an important challenge in the current planning context. A deeper understanding of the process which urban densification has developed from is necessary, since planners then will be more able to manage this challenge.

The aim of this study was to examine how social workers relate to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, regarding their cultural background and potential social issues. In order to achieve a more profound and comprehensive view of the social workers views regarding the separated children, we selected to execute semi structured interviews with social workers. These interviews were aimed at those social workers who performed assessments and investigations concerning unaccompanied children. We completed nine interviews which we recorded and transcribed in a strict manor. When we analyzed the empirical material, certain themes where identified as more protuberant and thus we our selection was based on what we regarded as the most relevant topics, in accordance to the aim of the study.

Lättviktsskivor till möbelindustrin har varit ett omskrivet tema i olika branschtidningar den sista tiden.Detta examensarbete beskriver och undersöker en ny konstruktion av en lättviktsskiva i massivt trä.Lättviktsskivan är uppbyggd som en sandwichkonstruktion i tre skikt. Ytskikten består av 6 mm tjockalimfogar och kärnmaterialet av profilerade distanser. Materialet är furu och lättviktsskivan har endensitet på 320 kg/m3 vid 39 mm tjocklek. Utifrån kontakter med utvalda tillverkare och användare avskivmaterial, samt genom tester, har denna konstruktion granskas och förslag på förbättringar har tagitsfram. Den ursprungliga distansen som var sammansatt av två halvor med centrumhål har ersatts av enmassiv distans med en liknande profilering.
