Occasionally the views of medicine and social sciences can collide. Doctors typically relate to a explanatory biological model, and social workers and psychologists seek social and historical reasons for neuropsychological diagnoses.A diagnosis is an obligation for medical doctors as well as other professionals within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and a neuropsychological diagnosis is a prerequisite for treatment and more often than not for other forms of support from society.The aim of this study is to examine the function of a neuropsychological diagnosis with regards to the individual patient, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and society. A second aim was to examine how psychologists and social workers trained in the social sciences view neuropsychological diagnoses.Qualitative interview research methods have been used. Most of the interviews were recorded and transcribed in their entirety. The data has been organised into appropriate categories and the most relevant quotes have been selected.

I dagens samhälle finns det många ungdomar med utländsk bakgrund vilket leder till att utländska elever utgör en stor del av skolan, därav begreppet en mångkulturell skola. Detta ämne är aktuellt och för att kunna skapa oss en bild av hur elever och lärare känner för mångkulturell skola, samverkan och gemenskap. Detta arbete ger även en inblick på hur främlingsfientlighet tar sig uttryck i skolan. För att genomföra detta arbete har en kvalitativ metod använts i form av intervjuer. 10 elever och 4 lärare har intervjuats som underlag för resultatet.

Studiens huvudsyfte är att försöka förstå hur lärare och poliser ser på en samverkan mellan skola och polis. Jag har i mitt arbete sökt svar på hur man skulle vilja samarbeta, vilka fördelar som finns med ett samarbete samt vad som legitimerar ett samarbete. Studien bygger på intervjuer med nio lärare och poliser. Som teoretisk bakgrund till intervjustudien redogör jag för den forskning som finns om ett samarbete mellan skola och polis och ett brottsförebyggande arbete i skolan. Jag presenterar även några teorier om hur barn tar till sig normer och värden, moralutvecklingsteorier.

Corporate Social Responsibility has been defined as the responsibility towards stakeholders and the society in whole and the expression was founded in the 1950´s. Reporting in corporate social responsibility has been termed corporate social disclosure and has been divided into three areas: environment, ethics and human resources. The aim of this study is to explain variations in corporate social disclosure and the different media used by corporations to communicate these disclosures. A survey was conducted, which included all Swedish corporations listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, and all public-owned corporations. The results show that corporate characteristics such as size, industry and profitability can explain some of the variation in social disclosures and also have an effect on the extent and variation of the media used.

This study examines the link between the individual and social network, what social forces and social mechanisms involved in the interaction between individuals and groups and how we can explain and consider this relationship with the aim of understanding this connection. Through qualitative interviews, based on interviews of six active members in the organization Young KRIS (Young Criminal?s Return in the Society) examines the active social processes that the young members undergo, and motivates those who have been outside the expected conformed and regular society, to be included in the regular community and how this can be explained. The study shows that the organization through high availability, openness, knowledge of the needs of young people, good treatment, range of meaningful activities, has created a great venue for the young to develop and thus regain their place in the society..

Syftet är att få insikt i vad som motiverar företag till att använda Social CRM, och hur de arbetar med detta för att kommunicera med sina kunder med hjälp av sociala nätverk. En kvalitativ ansats har använts där tre företag inom olika branscher har blivit intervjuade; Röda Korset, Komplett ASA och Ving Sverige AB. Intervjuer har genomförts med två olika personer på varje företag. Studien visar att företag som är verksamma i Sverige har börjat anamma de möjligheter som arbetet med Social CRM i sociala medier innebär. De möjligheter företagen tar upp är att de kan nå en större målgrupp på ett mer kostnadseffektivt sätt, underlätta dialoger och skapa en informell och personlig kontakt vilket kan leda till ökad varumärkeslojalitet och värdefulla konkurrensfördelar.

Bakgrund Cirka sju procent av barnen i Sverige har diagnosen Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), som ?r en neuropsykiatrisk funktionsneds?ttning som ofta f?ljs av sociala och empatiska sv?righeter. Lek utg?r en betydande del av barnets l?randeprocess. Genom lek socialiseras barn och utvecklas i samspel med andra.

The aim of the study is to describe social workers discretion when it comes to the relation between children placed away from home and their biological parents.The study describes how the social worker designs the contacts with the biological parents, for instance the extension for the actual meeting. The results are based on six interviews conducted with social workers who work with foster children. They have responded to questions related to the contact between children and their biological parent. The questions are based on eight vignettes. The contents of the vignettes show different conditions that affect the contact, for example age and foster care attitudes The results of the study have been compared to other previous research in discretion of the social worker and contacts between children and their biological parents.In summary the study shows that there is  high degree of independence for the social workers designing their work and that their level of discretion.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the use of social media by the Swedish Police for democratic purposes. The idea of citizen empowerment is closely related to the development of new communication technologies such as social media. Yet many studies indicate that governmental institutions rarely make use of the assumed potentials of social media.In this study, the democratic potential of social media is derived from Habermas normative concept of deliberative participation. Operational definitions emphasize discursive equality, interactive reciprocity and external impact. The analytical framework is combined with qualitative text analysis to highlight the conditions of interaction between representatives of the Police and citizens.In conclusion: the democratic potential of social media, from a Habermasian point of view, is to a significant extent neglected at the expense of its strategic advantages.

The aim of this study is to look how the Social Service has handled custody issues. The study has a legal and social aspect with a purpose to investigate how the law affects the social administration as well as the family. During a period of one year a quantitative and qualitative study was performed within the social administration in a nearby community. The study focus is partly on the relationship between the law, family and society. The main questions have been: Which one of the parents, mother or father, did in fact get the custody and why? How has the children?s point of view been reported in the inquiry? A child needs a well organized everyday life in a preferably conflict free environment.

Idag går majoriteten av eleverna vidare från grundskolan till gymnasiet. Valalternativen är många och eleverna ställs inför ett beslut som kan vara svårt att ta. Studien handlar om gymnasievalet och beskriver skolan under 1900-talet samt karriärvägledningsteorier och socialpsykologiska teorier som kan appliceras på elevernas beslutsprocess.Syftet är att undersöka faktorer som påverkar eleverna i deras val för att ge ökade kunskaper och insikt till studie och yrkesvägledningens profession. I en undersökning med elever från det naturvetenskapliga programmet på gymnasiet har en kvantitativ metod använts. Parallellt har även en litteraturstudie bidragit med uppgifter från tidigare forskning inom området.

Bakgrund: Dagens samhälle har förändrats på många sätt och tidsbrist är det gott om. Följden blir att samhällets utformning minskar den naturliga fysiska aktiviten och tidsbristen minskar den planerade fysiska aktiviteten. Fysisk aktivitet i form av dans har visats sig ha många positiva hälsoeffekter som kan förbättra både den fysiska och psykiska hälsan. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien är att undersöka olika hälsoeffekter som dans kan bidra till på både fysisk, psykisk och social nivå. Metod: Studien är genomförd som en litteraturstudie där tio vetenskapliga artiklar använts.

BakgrundFriluftsliv är något som nämns i kurs- och ämnesplanerna i Idrott & Hälsa. Trots detta kände jag att jag saknade kunskap om det under min egen skolgång vilket gjorde att jag uppfattade friluftsliv som ointressant. En del forskning har gjorts om vad man kan göra för att göra friluftsliv mer intressant för eleverna. Däremot har lite forskning gjorts angående vilka elever har/har inte ett intresse för friluftsliv.SyfteSyftet med studien är att undersöka hur intresset är för friluftsliv hos elever i årskurs 2 på gymnasiet. Finns det något samband mellan social position och intresset för friluftsliv samt skiljer sig intresset något åt mellan könen?MetodI studien har jag använt mig av en kvantitativ metod i form av enkäter.

One of the social services primary missions is to protect children from suffering harm. Social service work should work based on the child?s best and have the child's perspective in mind. In all cases involving children, the focus is on the child's needs and interests and is regulated in Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).
