Länge har människans tankeverksamhet betraktats som ett resultat av interna beräkningsprocesser, jämförbara med en dators. De senaste åren har det dock blivit tydligt att de kognitiva processerna inte kan ifrånkopplas faktorer såsom kroppen och den sociala omgivningen individer lever och agerar i. En viktig aspekt har visat sig vara verktyg och deras användning och mycket forskning har bedrivits för att ta reda på hur verktygsbruk påverkar individers kognitiva processer. Fokus har dock legat nästan enbart på den enskilda individen, medan andra individer och deras inflytande har lämnats utanför. Inom den socialpsykologiska forskningen har det emellertid blivit tydligt att männikans handlingar och tankar påverkas av den sociala interaktionen med omgivningen.

Syfte: Syftet är att studera diskrepanser mellan den av företaget förmedlade imagen och hur de anställda upplever arbetet inom organisationen i praktiken samt även hur de upplever själva förmedlingen. Metod: Med hjälp av individuella intervjuer har vi fastställt hur den av företaget förmedlade imagen upplevs av de anställda. Teorierna i studien har till avsikt att förklara dels image och hur image kan användas för att påverka anställda. Resultat: Diskrepanserna mellan individen och organisationen kan vara väldigt stora och många aspekter av individens identitet kan vara helt eller delvis segmenterade från organisationens identitet. Trots detta kan individen ha en positiv bild av företaget så länge det finns någon aspekt hos organisationens identitet som gör intrång på någon aspekt av individens identitet..

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative approach to get an understanding of what is expected of social workers targeted towards women managers in social services. Nine social workers were interviewed. The empirical data was then analyzed on the basis of gender theory. Respondents did not see their supervisor as a manager but more as a social worker with special tasks. Our empirical data indicates that there is a strong belief that men and women possess different properties.

Detta arbete handlar om hur de isländska sagorna används i den isländska skolan och vilka syften och metoder lärarna ser med arbetet. Ett av mina syften med arbetet har också varit att se vilka implikationer arbetet i den isländska skolan kan ha på den svenska skolan. Lärarnas uppfattningar har undersökts genom samtal och intervjuer och även elevers och lärarutbildares uppfattningar redogörs för. På plats i Reykjavik har ett antal lärare (5 st), elever (12 st) och lärarutbildare (2 st) intervjuats. Dessa intervjuer har tillsammans med mina egna observationer varit det resultat som utgjort underlag för de diskussioner som förs i kapitel 6.

The focus of this research is to investigate how the client's emotions can affect the social worker and how the social worker manages these feelings in order to make the right decisions. We have used a qualitative approach in our investigation. We have interviewed six social workers at social welfare bureaux in southern Sweden. Our theories are ?Nai?ve Theory? and ?Affect Theory?.

The purpose of this study was to examine how social work professionals view their professional role and how they think about the concept of social work. I also wanted to investigate what they believe characterize a professional social work. For the purposes of this study, I chose a qualitative approach in which I interviewed five people linked to the social work. The theories which I have assumed in the analysis of the results are power theory, organization theory and professional theory. The results of this study show that the respondents believe that a professional social work is performed by someone who has training and experience in the field.

I denna C-uppsats problematiseras huruvida pedagogisk dokumentation används för att utveckla demokrati i förskolan. Syftet är att studera pedagogisk dokumentation som medel för att skapa inflytande för barn i förskolan. Studien utgår från en fenomenologisk ansats och den metod som har använts är av kvalitativ art. Resultatet vi fått fram redogör därför inte för en absolut sanning utan för de två intervjuade pedagogernas erfarenheter och vår tolkning av dessa. Informanterna är två pedagoger som arbetar med pedagogisk dokumentation i sin profession.

The purpose of this study was to enlighten the views of male social work students on; the social work profession, social work status and their career options. Also, the study aimed at getting these students angles of approach on the fact that they, being men, are a minority group within the profession of social work. Some of the main questions were: Why does not social work as a profession seem to attract men? What about the status of the profession of social work? What were the thoughts of male social work students about this? What advantages or disadvantages did they recognise, being a minority in the profession? The method used in this study was doing separate interviews. All of the interviewed students were convinced that they had a better chance of getting a job.

In Sweden the social assistance from a historical perspective, has been a part of the social legislation, since the 18th century. In that time called poor relief. Through the centuries this has established the social assistance we have today. With focus on the child, we have attempted to illustrate how the social workers consider the child perspective when they are dealing with the social assistance. We wanted to get a view of how the social worker reasons about needs the children have and how they can see that the benefit has been provided for.

The aim of this study was to enlighten social workers experiences of social networks direct influence in Swedish social services, and in which ways those influences are manifested. Some of the issues that are being explored in this study are: The separation of the private sphere and professional duties; boundaries and dual relationships that occurs inside social networks; the use of social networks as a control-instrument in authority exercise towards clients; and social networks arising impact on social work. The empirical material was collected with nine qualitative interviews with social workers stationed at different social service departments in a Swedish municipality. Also one qualitative e-survey was sent out to, and answered by four social workers with a managerial position in the same municipality.The results reveal that several informants have experienced different problematic situations involving clients within the social networks. This study shows that the informants are very restrictive with what information (text and pictures) they publish on their facebook-profiles, because of their position of authority and the awareness of the possibility of always being watched.

Today, social media is used mostly by people in their private life. However, companies are more and more tapping into the area of social media. To this date, mostly B2C companies have been successful in their social media strategies. This qualitative thesis aims to investigate how B2B companies can benefit from using social media as a means to communicate and build relations with their customers. The medtech industry has been chosen as the object of study.Through depth interviews with people in the medtech industry and social media experts, data has been collected in order to answer the questions of (1) how ready customers in the medtech industry are to receive information through social media and (2) how companies can build the best possible social media strategy.

Denna uppsats tar upp ämnet social konflikt i samband med Nordirlandskonflikten. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka huruvida social konflikt kan verka främjande för samhället, samt att titta på de orsaker som gör att konflikten på Nordirland vidmakthålls. Detta har utförts genom en litteraturstudie av teorier utvecklade av Coser, Simmel och Merton.Slutsatser jag har dragit utifrån denna studie är bland annat att social konflikt i detta fall, parallellt med de nedbrytande faktorerna, också kan verka för en gynnande samhällsutveckling på vissa områden..

Denna studies syfte var att genom en kvalitativ intervjustudie öka vår förståelse för funktion och syfte med pedagogisk dokumentation i förskolan. Vi gjorde intervjuer med två förskollärare, där en arbetade på en vanlig förskoleavdelning, den andra på en resursavdelning. Vår teoretiska utgångspunkt var fenomenologi. Vår ansats var att fånga förskollärarnas livsvärld och ta del av deras erfarenheter, upplevelser och tankar kring hur pedagogisk dokumentationen fungerar på två olika förskolor med olika förutsättningar. Resultatet visar exempel på hur två olika förskoleavdelningar använder sig av pedagogisk dokumentation i den vardagliga verksamheten.
