In this report a system for Rapid Control Prototyping, RCP, is evaluated through animplementation of the motor control methods Field Oriented Control, FOC, and Space VectorPulse Width Modulation, SVPWM. The evaluation emphasizes on time-consumption andresource utilization on the used hardware and on usability for of software.A new mechatronic laboratory is under development at ABB Corporate Research in Västerås. Itwill be used for both mechanical and motion control design using existing and new hardware.The control structure in a traditional robot system will be interfaced to a rapid prototypingsystem which should allow easy changes to algorithms at different levels in the system.The system designated for this project comes from National Instruments and constitutesLabVIEW Real-time and FPGA module as the software tools. The hardware is a NI Single-Board RIO (Reconfigurable Input Output), sbRIO, development board including a Field-Programmable Gate Array, FPGA, from Xilinx and a microprocessor from FreescaleSemiconductor. Graphical programming is performed in the LabVIEW environment, andthrough Xilinx tools the LabVIEW FPGA code is compiled to VHDL code.A pre-study was carried out to clarify the concept of RCP and investigate different systems forRCP and their traits.

Bakgrund: Ospecifik ländryggssmärta är en av de vanligaste orsakerna till att man söker hjälp inom primärvården. För långvarig, ospecifik ländryggssmärta är träning ett förstahandsval och fokus har under det senaste årtiondet legat på bålstabiliserande träning. Psykosociala faktorer som self-efficacy och rörelserädsla kan vara viktiga att beakta vid behandlingen då de spelar en roll i hur ländryggssmärtan utvecklas. Syfte: Att undersöka hur skattad smärta, self-efficacy och rörelserädsla samt funktionsnivå förändrades hos enskilda patienter med långvarig, ospecifik ländryggssmärta under och efter en intervention i grupp med bålstabiliserande träning. Metod: Designen var en A-B-A single-subject design (SSED).

The media industry, and especially the news, in Sweden is living in a dark world that seems to get even darker by the minute. According to Nordicom (2013) the number of readers in the ages 15-24 has dropped by 24 percentage points between 2007 and 2012. This is a big problem for the news industry, but also for democracy that require citizens that are well-read and know what is going on in society. Enda and Mitchel (2013) found that 65% of people in the USA have stopped reading a certain news source since it no longer fits their needs. Maybe with a better understanding for young adults needs this trend can change.This qualitative study was conducted using interviews with eight respondents to find out why young adults who study at a university consume news.

In this thesis, two real-time stereo methods have been implemented and evaluated. The first one is based on blockmatching and the second one is based on local phase. The goal was to be able to run the algorithms at real-time and examine which one is best. The blockmatching method performed better than the phase based method, both in speed and accuracy. Studier visar att åtgärder krävs för att minska svenska barns intag av sötsaker och fett samt öka intaget av frukt och grönsaker. Skolors roll i att främja en hälsosammare kosthållning hos barn måste därför få en ökad uppmärksamhet. Lärare bör ta tillvara på tillfällen som ges att i undervisningen förmedla en positiv syn på mat. Sapere-metoden är en pedagogisk metod som syftar till att öva upp elevers sensoriska förmåga, utveckla deras språk samt på sikt förbättra deras matvanor. Denna metod tillämpas idag på skolor i Västmanland.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur undersköterskor i fyra olika verksamheter upplever att deras arbetssituation har förändrats sedan man införde LCP (Liverpool Care Pathway). Vidare belyses hur undersköterskorna menar att samarbete, kommunikation och relation har påverkats och på vilket sätt och i så fall hur. Uppsatsen är skriven utifrån samverkan och ett professionellt förhållningssätt i socialt arbete. Ett annat perspektiv som uppsatsen belyser är på vilket sätt metoden blev introducerad i organisationen, detta utifrån implementeringsprocesser och kommunikationsteorin. Resultatet visar att undersköterskorna upplever en större delaktighet och trygghet i deras arbete idag jämfört med tidigare.

Besvär från ländryggen är vanligt förekommande hos patienter inom hälso- och sjukvård. På senare år har metoder från psykiatrin influerat behandlingsarsenalen i den sjukgymnastiska verksamheten, en sådan metod är Basal Kroppskännedom (BK). Syftet med studien var att undersöka kroniska ländryggspatienters upplevelser av BK som behandlingsmetod samt sjukgymnasters erfarenheter av metoden. Tre patienter och två sjukgymnaster i åldrarna 35 till 60 år intervjuades. En kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes som metod för att ta del av de intervjuades tankar och erfarenheter kring BK.

I detta examensarbete beskriver jag FMT ? Funktionsinriktad MusikTerapi. Mitt syfte har varit att undersöka om denna ickeverbala metod, kan stödja utvecklingen för flyktingbarn som ännu inte tillgodogjort sig det svenska språket. The debate about questions concerning corporate governance has intensified in Sweden the last decade. From July 1th 2008, the Swedish Code for Corporate Governance was extended to comprise all Swedish companies listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm. Our aim with this master thesis is to examine the effect of the Revised Code on Swedish corporate governance and in particular its contribution to creating value or costs. We do this through a qualitative study of 22 interviews with representatives for different interests. With our study, we have found that the Revised Code in several areas has had considerable influence on Swedish corporate governance.

This is a qualitative case study that aims to examine the small entrepreneur?s choice of financing solutions and their thoughts on various forms of financing. The authors have chosen to specifically examine entrepreneurs who do not have experience that stretches more than three years in entrepreneurship and the restaurant business. The study used three different companies in the restaurant business in Stockholm and semi-structured interviews were conducted with all owners of the company, corresponding to a total of six respondents. The study's findings show the relationship of entrepreneurs who believe that the experience of the industry and entrepreneurship is valuable also are more prone to giving away some ownership in exchange for a certain expertise and funding..

The parallel bars is used in physical therapy and is mainly used for patients who have to train walking and balance after a stroke or an operation. It consists of two long handrails with two legs on each handrail. These legs go down into two ground-plates and are locked at the wanted height with a pin. The parallel bars is an appreciated device and is used on a daily basis in many care units.The main issue with the manual parallel bars is that it is very difficult and heavy for a single person to adjust the height of it. If a larger adjustment of the height has to be done, the legs have to be adjusted one at a time otherwise the they will be locked.
