Ett företags varumärke förmedlas genom dess externa kommunikation till potentiella kunder och denna process är avgörande för företagets framgång på marknaden. Småföretag har i regel en liten budget och tillämpar därför marknadsföring från ett kostnadsperspektiv.Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva vad tre småföretag med begränsade finansiella resurser vill förmedla med sitt varumärke och hur de gått tillväga för att externt kommunicera det. Den externa kommunikationen har undersökts med stöd av en modifierad version av Duncans (2002) kommunikationsmodell. Angreppssättet som har använts är fallstudier och som insamlingsmetod för den empiriska delen har telefonintervjuer använts. I slutdiskussionen konstateras att många olika kanaler har samverkat för att kommunikationen ska ske på ett kostnadseffektivt sätt.

Huvuduppgiften i detta examensarbete har varit att programmera en Android smart-telefon så att den kan kommunicera med en bio-sensor med syfte att skapa automatiska larm vid till exempel hjärtproblem. Hur lösningen har vuxit fram har dokumenterats tillsammans med resultatet av den informationssökning som utförts parallellt inom angränsande ämnesområden.Vid programmeringen har en Service använts för att upprätthålla en prioriterad kommunikationsprocess mellan bio-sensor och telefon. Programprototypen använder även en Widget ? en mini applikation på skrivbordet - som är ett snyggt sätt att presentera mätdata.När denna produkt börjar säljas på marknaden kommer den vara klassificerad som en medicinteknisk produkt. Detta innebär att det finns ett speciellt regelverk för leverantören av produkten att följa.Applikationen är enkel att hantera för användarna men det innebär inte att den alltid är lämplig för alla.

Can you ensure that your smoke detector will sense fire and sound the alarm in the middle of the night?In 80 percent of the cases where emergency pulls out, smoke detectors are missing where the fire occurred. In the year of 2009, 118 people in Sweden died in fires ? most of them would have survived if there had been a functioning smoke detector.Earlier development of smoke detectors has mainly been focusing on components that sense smoke and alert in case of fire. But in most cases the problem has not been whether the smoke detector was working or not as fully assembled, but rather that it was missing.

The work with this paper began with a belief that the permission aspect plays acrucial part when it comes to consumers perceptions of marketing through E-mailand SMS - especially when it comes to advertising that is received through a devicethat the consumer has a strong personal relationship with. The questions to beinvestigated was: "How do users of computers and mobile phones feel aboutadvertisement received through E-mail and SMS?" and "In what way does the usersrelationship to the computer or mobile phone affect how they feel about theadvertisement?". The study was based on a questionnaire as well as an analysis of theresponses in combination with previous research on the subject.The results showed that the majority of the respondents from this papers surveywere found to have a negative attitude toward advertisement through both E-mail andSMS. However, the respondents turned out to have a slightly higher tolerance foradvertisement through E-mail than towards advertisement through SMS.

Vardagsrummet kan anses som hemmets hjärta. Det är för många samlingsplatsen för familj och vänner. Det är här vi umgås, tittar på tv, äter och spelar spel tillsammans. På grund av bostadsbrist bor många av oss på mindre ytor och hemmet krymper. Jag har valt att joba med Trästad 2012:s projekt "Bra bostäder för småhushåll till rimligt pris" som tittar på bland annat bostadsbristen och levnadsstandarden.

Energimätning och övervakning kan bidra till minskad energiförbrukning genom att hjälpa en användare att ta beslut över energianvändandet. Valet av examensarbete gjordes p.g.a. behovet att ge användarna möjlighet att påverka sin energiförbrukning och övervaka sina elprodukter. Ett koncept togs fram där toppvärden på spänning och ström, effektfaktor, spänning-ens vågform, aktiv, reaktiv och skenbar effekt mättes. Samtliga värden skickades till en server som lagrade informationen och innehöll en hem-sida för presentation.

Samtliga hadegenomgått Svensk Mjölks kurs ?Hälsopaket Mjölk?. Samtalen spelades in och analyseradesmed avseende på struktur, LSF (lyssna, summera, fortsätta ställa frågor), mål enligt SMART,öppna eller slutna frågor och balans i samtalet.Veterinärerna i undersökningen vet vad de i teorin bör göra för att använda effektivkommunikation, men de praktiserar inte detta i den grad de kunde göra.

The use of vision applications are growing and the demand for integration and connectivity with other industrial automation control devices is increasing. Some businesses that are using vision technology follow US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) regulation concerning audit trail. This thesis investigates the possibility to use vision technology for counting objects, achieving connectivity and to follow FDAs audit trail regulation. A market survey has been used to select suitable hardware and software to be used in the design of an application that is able to count objects and that uses standard industrial network connection i.e. OPC data access and Microsoft?s .NET components over Ethernet.

In the field of IT-forensics you may often get to analyze different types of digital devices. One ofthese devices is the GPS navigation system. Nowadays GPS technology is getting more and morepopular and is included more frequently in different types of devices. With this article we want topresent the differenent obstacles and possibilites that a forensic investigator is presented with in thistype of investigation. We will be comparing different software suites and make use of forensic toolssuch as EnCase.The reader should get some understanding of the methods there are for analyzing one of these devicesand what problems that may occur in the investigation process.The article presents how the investigator can use different methods to gain information such as recentroutes, favourite destinations and other information that may be stored on the device.

This is a thesis report from SLU in Skinnskatteberg, the Swedish university of agricultural sciences. This study is an evaluation of a course in attitudes and behavior for participants of the ETT- project led by Skogforsk, the forestry research institute of Sweden. They do research for the benefit of Swedish forestry. The ETT-project is a project where there are both 74 tons ST-trucks and 90 tons ETT-trucks in test on the public roads. This study is concentrated on the ST-trucks and their drivers, company owners and logistics managers. The evaluation is done by interviews with the various participants.

Målet med detta examensarbete var att skapa ett program som ska detektera kanterna på brädor med en smart senor för att optimera fräslinjerna, vilket senare kommer att leda till minskat virkesspill. Men för att detta ska gå att göra krävs det att den smarta sensorn genomgår en kalibrering för att bl.a. omvandla mätpunkter till mm. I samband med kalibreringen behöver en utgångsposition bestämmas för att kunna säkerhetsställa att fräslinjerna hamnar rätt. Programmet ska även ha ett grafiskt användargränssnitt för att underlätta ändringar av inställningar och för att kunna beskåda brädan i en topografisk bild baserad på höjddata från den smarta sensorn.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how the two Swedish municipalities, Sigtuna and Nyköping, work with marketing. The study has primarily focused on how these two municipalities worked, consciously or non-consciously, with lifestyle marketing and place marketing. The research-questions that this essay wants to answer are;What is lifestyle marketing and place marketing?Do municipalities use these types of marketing, and who is this marketing directed to?How and why does municipalities use lifestyle marketing and place marketing?To answer these questions, phone interviews were conducted with several important employees within the two municipalities. The results of this study show that the different municipalities have both been using lifestyle marketing, but on different levels, in Sigtuna, it was a strategic choice, whereas in Nyköping, it evolved by itself and was not a conscious choice.

It can take time forthe repairmen to find the right device or locating the broken component. At the sametime he is supposed to maintain telephone contact with central control throughoutthe whole session.The need for a new, more effective, system is vital to make the whole repair pfocessmore effective and let the repairmen work without having to contact the centralcontrol by phone.I started this work by examining the possibilities of assigning every object with aunique identifier (ID tag) that could be accessed by a manual scan device. The ideawas that the ID tag could holw information about the object and be obtained byscanning the ID and get the information presented on a mobile device.The work also included building a internet application that enabled the reader to seeand change the information on the ID tag.The result was a database that stored information of different objects which could beobtained by scanning the ID tag and presented by a internet application..
