En hög med bränslebriketter ligger på marken på ett industriområde i Sveg. Det är tillverkaren av dessa som har lagerhållit briketterna på detta sätt och ämnar lasta dessa i sina containrar. Då detta moment inte tillhör den ordinarie produktionen finns en mobil enhet att tillgå för att genomföra inlastningsproceduren. Containern placeras i en rigg som hissar containeröppningen upp i luften varpå en hjullastare matar in briketterna i en transportör. Den förflyttar briketterna upp till containeröppningen vilket leder till att materialet faller ned på containerns botten.

I takt med att användningen av smarta mobiler och handhållna enheter ökar, så ställs det idag helt andra krav på design och prestanda av webbplatser än för bara 5-6 år sedan. En webbplats visas idag från flera olika enheter och skärmstorlekar. Detta medför att en webbplats primärt utvecklad för en pc-skärm, troligtvis inte är så användbar när den visas från en mobil eller handhållen enhet.Den här rapporten i form av en fallstudie försöker svara på vilka delar av den mobila användbarhetstestningen som kan automatiseras. I rapporten beskrivs även olika teknikval och deras påverkan på en webbplats prestanda.Det visade sig baserat på denna fallstudie att vissa delar utav den mobila användbarheten går att utvärdera utan användare. Det finns delar som inte går att automatisera och måste utvärderas förhand.

This thesis is about a part of the marquetrytechnique, scorching. Scorching is made by heating up something, put a veneer into the heated substance and make a controlled burning. This technique is old but still used today and have according to me great potential for development. In my work I wanted to give the scorching greater room then I earlier have seen. I wanted the scorching to be the dominant ingredient for a decorative element in a piece of furniture or an interior.

An Interoperable Fare Management system for public transport has been a struggle for the actors in industry of public transport. A lot of effort has been put into creating a smart card solution that enables the travellers to use the same card for paying and holding the ticket regardless geographical position in Sweden. That project has failed, mostly due to a lack of taking non-technical actors and aspects into consideration during the project process. This thesis highlights the major actors and their responsibilities. The ARKTRANS framework is used as analytical tool to identify different roles. Throughout the thesis a sociotechnical perspective is used. The developed method in this thesis is suitable for mapping of actors and responsibilities in a network surrounding a complex technical system.

The Swedish traffic system is congested, especially in the urban areas; travellers face daily growing traffic jams and delays in public transport. In a congested traffic system, travellers need support to make smart and sustainable decisions and one such tool is traffic information.One issue today is that too few travellers use traffic information in support of their travel. Research shows that travellers would see great value in receiving the information; however current systems do not meet their requirements. This is a problem since the society would benefit greatly from a well functioning traffic information system.In this report, a number of channels that can be applicable for providing traffic information will be explored, with particular emphasis on interference information.The information channels are analyzed based upon the needs and requirements of the society and the traveller. The thesis of the report is: the more of these needs and requirements are met in a channel; the better is the channel to use for traffic information.

The information flow could be internal as well as external between actors within as well as outside of the organization. In a logistics organization this flow of information is equally important as in any other kind of organization. In this paper we have explored information flows in logistics organizations by applying, boundary spanning and the mobile-stationary divide perspective. In boundary spanning the main goal is to erase or relocate some of the boundaries within an organization, in our case to make the flow of information internally as well as externally better.

Detta medför andra utmaningar gällande elektrifieringen än vad som finns vid en installation ovan jord där den är mer permanent. Att bibehålla en god selektivitet i en underjordsgruva är en sådan utmaning. Detta examensarbete syftar till att undersöka de olika teknikerna som lämpar sig för attkommunicera med en dräneringspump. Behovet av att kunna kommunicera meddräneringspumpen är i dagsläget växande. Detta då det inuti dräneringspumparnabörjar finnas allt mer smart elektronik som övervakar pumpen men ännu ingen klarlösning för hur denna smarta elektronik ska kunna nå ut med sin data. I dag måstedräneringspumparna öppnas upp för att data som den smarta elektroniken samlat inskall kunna läsas ur. Att öppna dräneringspumpen tar tid och packningar måsterengöras eller bytas p.g.a.

ProblemIdeation in group is used by many, often as a tool for creating new and innovative ways to solve problems and creating change. Groups may have difficulties to move from the phase of inspiration to the phase of ideation, if information and ideas aren?t defined in the team.The authors claim that this process can be helped by providing practical tools that are adapted and tested for the purpose. The reason is to foster concretization of volatile thoughts in form of inspiration and information.PurposeThe study aims to investigate how Storyboard as a tool can be used to concretize thoughts and inspiration in a group before ideation.MethodIn order to collect empirical data the authors along with four other facilitators, conducted 24 DO TANK:s for the innovation contest Smart Lunch. The empirical data where then analyzed using theories related to the topic.

Dessa delar i kombination ger oss bl.a. säker e-handel. Som plattform för detta ligger PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), vilket är samlingsnamnet för lösningar där man med hjälp av en speciell krypteringsteknologi skapar system för identifiering, kryptering och integritetskontroll (Halvarsson & Morin, 2000). Systemen kan användas för att till exempel skapa elektroniska signaturer för olika typer av avtal, säkra elektroniska transaktioner, identifiering av användare, säker e-post, och olika typer av säker kommunikation över publika nätverk.Tekniken lovordas till stor del, men även dess brister förs fram av kritikerna.

With the new generation of smartphones the boundaries for what is a mobile phone and whatis a computer becomes more subtle. 2009 the shipment of smartphones with touchscreen morethan double the 2008 figure and the total amount of smartphones is now over 10 % of the totalworldwide shipments of mobile phones. There?s still one problem to solve and that is the lackof web content specifically adapted for smartphones.The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze from a user and usability perspective howto make a successful migration and design of a user interface for an existing web basedsystem so that it also fit smartphones.The paper starts with a theoretical reference material containing examples of differentapproaches for design and migration of an interface.A case study is performed and prototypes are designed with support from guidelines andrecommendations in the theory part.The conclusion stipulates that in the present situation there are no shortcuts when it comes tomigration of an existing web based system for the mobile web. The recommendation is aspecific interface for each different unit that are going to interact with the system.Research that analyzes differences between all mobile web browsers would be of greatinterest, a research that hopefully leads to guidelines for what level of mobile web standardthey should at least support.

Gestamp HardTech AB, dotterbolag åt Gestamp Automoción, tillverkar presshärdade delar och system åt biltillverkare. Avdelningen för verktygskonstruktion inom Gestamp HardTech har sedan år 2000 konstruerat presshärdningsverktyg i CAD-systemet I-deas. Eftersom mjukvaran är på väg att fasas ut av Siemens, så måste denna mjukvara ersättas och Gestamp HardTech vill därför undersöka möjligheterna med CAD-systemet NX. Syftet är att inför övergången till NX utreda och ta fram en enhetlig, systematisk och därmed även tidsbesparande arbetsprocess för konstruktion av presshärdningsverktyg. Målsättningen är följaktligen att hitta en modelleringsstrategi där kunskap och standard på ett smart sätt finns inbyggt i CAD-systemet.
