BakgrundÖvervikt och fetma är ett hälsoproblem, både globalt och i Sverige. Genetik, livsstilsfaktoreroch beroendeproblematik är bakomliggande orsaker till övervikt och fetma. Olika behandlingsmetoder används vid övervikt och fetma, varav gastric bypass är en metod. En gastric bypass kräver livsstils- och beteendeförändringar i samband med operationen. Hälso och sjukvården har ett ansvar att ge informativt och rådgivande stöd i samband med livsstilsförändringar.SyfteSyftet var att beskriva personers upplevda behov av stöd från hälso- och sjukvården i samband med en gastric bypassoperation.MetodEn kvalitativ intervjustudie användes med utgångspunkt i gastric bypassopererade personers erfarenheter.

Background: Myocardial infarction is the most frequent cause of death in Sweden. Previous research has indicated large gender differences as regards the type of care received by the patient. Aim: The aim of the literature review was to describe women?s experiences after myocardial infarction. Methods: A literature review based on eleven qualitative articles was performed.

Recent changes in Swedish law suggest new groups of ?desired? labor migrants, which international students is an example of. Despite this, international students in Sweden have received little previous attention in the literature. The current study focused on international master students? experiences of job searching in Sweden and challenges they face in job searching, recruitment, and workplaces.

Utifrån studiens empiriska resultat-, litteratur- och forskningsgenomgång visar resultatet att lärplattan är ett bra och framgångsrikt redskap för lärande och då detta med utgångspunkt från alla elever, med eller utan behov av särskilt stöd. Det som främst visat sig har betydelse är att lärplattan ökar elevens motivation till lärande men även dennes självkänsla, nyfikenhet och drift till kunskapsinhämtning. Lärplattan är inte bara är en tillfällig trend utan har kommit för att stanna och kommer att forma och skapa en stor del av undervisningen i den moderna skolan. Syfte och frågeställningar Syftet med studien är att försöka förstå sex pedagogers upplevelser av lärplattans effekter för motivation till lärande hos elever i behov av särskilt stöd. Detta utifrån tilldelning av lärplatta, användningen av lärplatta i undervisningen och elevernas förmåga i att hantera lärplatta och appar.

The aim of this Master´s thesis is to explore how public libraries in a successful way can work in projects with young people. It intends to point out different factors that in a legible way affect the accomplishment and outcome of the project. Another purpose of the study is to uncover the various approaches existing within the projects towards young people and to find out why it is seen as important to work with youngsters, considering the hard work that it requires and the reluctance of the young to visit the library. The examination is based upon eight different and fulfilled projects. Information about these has been received through project descriptions, project reports and documents describing applications for economical benefits.

Jodkontrastmedel används varje dag i samband med vissa bestämda röntgenundersökningar. Effekten av kontrastmedel underlättar för att få en bra bilddiagnostik. Användning av kontrastmedel är inte riskfritt eftersom kontrastmedel kan orsaka negativa reaktioner som kan uppträda antingen som akuta eller sena, exempelvis hjärtstillestånd eller klåda. Syfte: Att belysa vikten av information till patienten om risker och biverkningar inför intravenös jodkontrastmedelsinjektion samt att belysa röntgensjuksköterskans roll och ansvar i samband med denna information.

Jällaskolans upper secondary School is situated on a big farm just outside Uppsala. The School is focused on agriculture, forestry, gardening, animal care and science. Jällaskolans staff has whished for a school garden for educational purpose where students can practice their gardening skills and learn more about plants. But most important, a specially adapted outside environment such as a garden, would be a great advantage for the students with special needs. This garden could even be an asset for other visiting school classes in the region.

Background:Companies are beginning to see the world as their market; not only to seek global opportunities but also to oversee the global competition. Although most people connect globalization to export and import of goods, the globalization process also affect the businesses distinguished by service. The corporations are faced with higher demands of adaptation, which in turn leads to higher needs of skills and knowledge, which of course is very important in business such as the hotel industry. A motivated employee can perform better and furthermore has a stronger sense of belonging to the organization and might therefore be a key to future success of the company.Purpose:The main purpose of this essay is to compare the motivation strategies and reward systems chosen by the management and match this with what the employees are requesting. By doing this we can compare the different objects studied in this essay and furthermore we will be able to see which hotel that has the best match.

Bakgrund: Universitet och högskolor har utvecklat kliniska träningscentrum (KTC) där sjuksköterskestudenterna får integrera kliniska och teoretiska kunskaper. Scenarioträningar innebär att ett antal färdigheter läggs samman till ett autentiskt patientfall och färdighetsträning innebär att lära sig tekniken eller handling med upprepningsmöjligheter. Tekniken har utvecklats i takt med att sjukvården blivit allt mer komplex. Syftet: Syftet med denna studie var att jämföra två olika inlärningsmetoder i att koppla en infusion till en perifer venkateter bland sjuksköterskestudenter. Jämförelsen var mellan färdighetsträning och en kombination av färdighetsträning och scenarioträning.

Den svenska skolan har genomgått stora förändringar, samhället ställer andra krav på dagens unga och internationella mätningar visar att svenska elever presterar sämre i skolan. Forskning har visat på att icke-kognitiva kunskaper spelar stor roll för framtidsutvecklingen samt för utvecklingen av kognitiva kunskaper. Vad är skolans uppdrag för att utveckla barn och ungas icke-kognitiva kunskaper? Genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys granskas Skollagen, grundskolans läroplan och FN:s barnkonvention, med fokus på skolans uppdrag för barn och ungdomars utveckling av icke-kognitiva kunskaper, ungas rättigheter till en trygg skolmiljö och möjlighet till socialisering samt hur dokumenten fördelar ansvaret mellan skolan respektive hemmet i barnets utveckling. Studien har också granskat utbildningsplanen för grundskollärarutbildningen på Högskolan Väst för att klargöra lärares kunskapsområde och analyserat hur en socialpedagogisk referensram kan komplettera lärare i ovanstående ansvar och uppdrag i förhållande till hemmet.

Background: First Line Managers are expected to create a health promoting work environment. Research has shown that the prerequisites for accomplishing a health promoting leadership are not always the best. Aim: The aim was to elucidate the prerequisites for a health promoting leadership as First Line Manager at a University hospital in Sweden based on competence, role, support structures and own durability. Results: First Line Managers at the chosen hospital seems to have rather good conditions for conducting a health promoting leadership. All respondents did have a university degree and most thought that their competence corresponded well with the role.

Sweden is a multicultural country and because of this the Swedish school-system should be adapted so that all pupils can develop their linguistic skills so that they can participate andunderstand the education. By using scientific work from other researchers and my own experiences from a general point of view, I noticed that pupils with foreign origin perform less good in mathematics than pupils with Swedish origin, in the Swedish education system.The purpose of this research is to find out if communication and interplay between the pupils makes it easier for them to understand mathematics and its? concepts. My research involves acertain school class were all pupils have another etnicity then the Swedish one. My aim was to find out if the pupils reached the knowledge-goals for mathematics in the third grade.

In recent years there has been a growing interest directed towards focusing on the importance of clear evidence for interventions in social work. To enable the measurement it?s necessary to develop concrete models with manuals on how social work should be designed. Evaluation of the benefits is made in relation to how well the method can detect evidence of clear measurable results. When measuring the result it?s of importance to emphasis on pre and post the situation, not the situation where social work takes place.

The aim of this study was to get an insight into the pet owners? experiences associated with euthanasia at small animal clinics, concerning their emotions, the treatment by the personnel and the experiences around various types of support provided by the personnel. The target group was pet owners who had had their animal euthanized at a small animal clinic. Incomplete survey responses and responses where it was clear that the euthanasia took place in the owner?s home were excluded. In the end, a total of 442 pet owners participated and out of those were 92 % women and 8 % were men. The study was carried out using a web-based questionnaire consisting of standardized questions with the opportunity to give further comments to each question and in the field of ?Other comments? as well. Swedish small animal related companies and forums were contacted via email and were asked to alert about the present study on their website or forum.

Because of this, the number of delegations per nurse is often unacceptably high.Aim. The aim of this study was to describe the public health nurses´ experience in drugs delegation to home care staff in home care.Method.
