Arbetet som utförts består av två applikationer där båda presenterar information geografiskt på internet. Applikationerna har konstruerats i utvecklingsverktyget Visual Basic och med GIS-programvarorna MapObjects och MapObjects Internet Map Server. Den första applikationen som tillverkades är helt HTML-baserad (HTML är ett språk som används för att konstruera sidor på internet), vilket betyder att den fungerar som vilken sida som helst på internet, bortsett från att den kräver att en kartserver alltid har igång kartan i applikationen. Den andra har konstruerats med ActiveX. ActiveX är ett tilläggsprogram som fungerar tillsammans flera utvecklingsverktyg bl.a.

Fog is a small-scale weather phenomenon that are fascinating to people. However, the presence of fog in road traffic reduces the visibility and increases the risk of road accidents. By the Swedish Road Weather Information System (VViS), the safety on roads could ameliorate and road accidents caused by fog and other weather hazards could be prevented. Fog is however a complex and usually local phenomenon, why fog formation generally is not easy to predict. For that reason, a statistical mapping of fog, especially along a motorway with high traffic volumes, could be useful in planning to prevent road accidents.

Bakgrund: Att utveckla och förbättra organisationer genom effektivare användning av de resurser man har till förfogandet har blivit allt mer betydelsefullt under de senaste decennierna. Genom fokusering kring de aktiviteter som tillför värde hos kunden i slutprodukten kan företag reducera och eliminera oönskade slöserier inom tillverkningsprocessen. Ett verktyg som utvecklats och används för att eliminera dessa oönskade aktiviteter så som lagerhållning är Value stream mapping (VSM). Problemformulering: Hur kan man identifiera slöserier samt dess förbättringsmöjligheter för att möjliggöra en högre produktionskapacitet genom frigörandet av anläggningsyta?¨ Syfte: Genom användandet av VSM som modell, identifiera slöserier och kostnadseffektiva förbättringsmöjligheter. Metod: Denna fallstudie har utförts på ett företag som arbetar inom metallindustrin. Större delen av datainsamlingen har tagits från företagets egna dokumenterande data samt intervjuer med anställda och observationer under de besök författarna genomförde. Slutsatser: Genom att använda VSM som en modell har författarna lyckats identifiera fallföretagets största faktorer till slöserier samt ge förslag och underlag till framtida förbättrings implementationer av förbättringsstrategier.

I uppsatsen tar vi del av forskning kring barns motoriska utveckling samtpedagogers upplevelser och betraktelser av miljöns betydelse och påverkan för barn iförskolan. Vi beskriver även vad som kännetecknar en stimulerande miljö.Studien genomfördes med stöd av intervjufrågor till sex pedagoger och två motorikpedagogervid två förskolor i två mindre kommuner i södra Sverige. Vi tar utgångspunkt i barnsmotoriska utveckling samt i hur miljön kan stärka barns motoriska utveckling.

This study explores the shift in football recruitment from traditional scouting to data-driven methods, focusing on Sweden. It investigates how football organizations can enhance competency for effective data-driven recruitment. Through qualitative interviews with elite Swedish football organizations, the study emphasizes the need for competence development for proficient data-driven recruitment. To address the enhancement of personnel competency in the recruitment process, this study poses the research question: "How can football organizations effectively promote competence development to optimize their utilization of data-driven recruitment?" The results highlight the importance of targeted education, combining expertise in data-driven recruitment with a broad skill set.

För att göra informationen tydligare för en larmoperatör som sitter och övervakar larm som kommer in från ett antal olika nätverkskomponenter så har vi skapat ett system som förser larmen med extra information, kallad Context Type, så att vi kan presentera larmen på ett enklare sätt. Vår informationsberikning, även kallad mappning, är utbyggbar för att möta kravet på framtida utveckling. En webbaserad klient skriven i JavaScript är skapad för att presentera larmen på ett nytt innovativt sätt som är baserad på context typen istället för larmobjektet. Mappningen är skapad med hjälp av Python kod och begränsas av att endast använda textfiler som datakälla och webbapplikationen är endast utvecklad för webbläsaren FireFox samt att visningsintervallet för larmen är begränsat till ett dygn med entimmesintervaller. Mappningen var långsam då vi använde oss av regular expression.

This thesis have been performed at Sweco Position in Jönköping. The work was split into two, where one part included an investigation regarding the possibility of developing a cross-platform GIS (geographic information system) with HTML5 and CSS3. A prototype would also be developed within this part.The second part included development of a cross-platform GIS for a client to Sweco Position. The client operates in the forest sector and had already an existing solution, with many problems. The client required an application with delimited functionality and which was not bound to a specific hardware.As the client users often were located in areas with limited Internet access, one additional requirement was that there would be some offline support.The students handle subjects within development of GIS, for example map projections, map services and mapping libraries.The application came to be developed in HTML5 and ASP.net.

How can you do a right measurement of culture as well as with other social sectors and with what can culture contribute when it comes to a town´s development? We found out that in Linköping the regional federation Ostsam recently (2005) started mapping the region's creative centers in order to look into the spreading of the culture in the county, and then use the uniqueness of the culture as an advantage in society- planning contexts. The reason was that both municipal - and State directions detected that the culture has a broader importance when it comes to building up society and infrastructure than earlier considered. This is called Cultural planning and is the foundation- method that Östsam used when working with their new projekt The creative sector. The outcome of the Östsam study resulted in an exciting study basis to work further on with and to examine through own demarcations and directions.This research manages the matter of the creative sector as an extension to the cultural sector.

This master thesis includes a description of how a number of sensors are put together in a sensor platform. It also gives a description of how localization and mapping has been performed with data collected from the sensor platform. Localization is a prerequisite for most of the tasks that can be requested from an autonomous mobile robot. In many situations the GPS signal is not available and hence an additional localization system is required. One approach is to apply localization based on landmarks extracted from the robots surrounding.

Vattenfall Eldistribution AB has a visionto transform their electricity network into Smart Grids. To invest in Smart Grids theyhave a need to show their customers what advantages they will get from thedevelopment. Vad som dock är ett problemområde är att se över fabriken ur ett helhetsperspektiv, närfabriken är uppdelad i många avdelningar. Lösningen till detta problem är att via olika metoder ellerverktyg kunna fastställa svaren på problemen.Denna examensrapport redogör för hur metoder inom Lean produktion kan vara lösningen förproblemområdet. Forskningen är huvudsakligen byggd på en bred värdeflödesanalys som syftar till attfånga in ett företags alla aspekter ur ett helhetsperspektiv, med syftet att minska risker försuboptimering och istället optimera produktionen som helhet.För att se gränssnitt mellan informationsflödet har i denna forskning metoden swimlane utgjort enkartläggning över ett företags hela kontorsavdelning, planerings och inköps avdelningar.Resultatet av denna forskning visar att värdeflödesanals är en bra metod för att kunna identifieraslöserier, ojämnheter i produktion, brister vid tillverkningen och flaskhalsar. Denna uppsats tar sin utgångspunkt i frågeställningar som berör handledarens yrkeskunnande. Benämningen handledare syftar i detta fall på lärare som är VFU-handledare för lärarstudenter eller mentorer för nyutexaminerade lärare. VFU och introduktionsår för nya lärare befinner sig i gränsområdet mellan utbildning och yrkespraktik. Vilka är de kritiska punkterna i handledarrollen? Är det möjligt att följa en modell och vad fungerar i verkligheten? Vilka områden och frågeställningar är relevanta för blivande handledare? Hur kan man utbilda för att kunna hantera dessa områden?Det empiriska material som ingår i denna uppsats har bland annat arbetats fram med hjälp av dialogseminariemetoden.
