This thesis was created in an attempt to examine the concept of cultural heritage. What is cultural heritage to us and why do we treat it in the different ways we do? In my attempt to find an answer to this I have chosen to concentrate my interest on a Situation where historical objects have been preserved as well as destroyed, Iraq 2003 until 2007. In my research I have divided the Iraqi cultural heritage in three different groups based on the different treatments they where exposed to during the occupation of Bagdad and the aftermath. For each group I have chosen one object or a category of objects to be a representative examined.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur anhörigvårdare i Japan beskriver sin Situation som vårdgivare till äldre anhöriga. För att besvara detta har sex kvalitativa intervjuer med japanska anhörigvårdare genomförts. Intervjuerna har sökt svar på hur informanterna beskriver sina förutsättningar att ansöka om hjälp från samhället, hur de upplever omgivningens förväntningar samt hur de upplever sina egna möjligheter att påverka Situationen. Ur resultaten har en bild av de anhörigas position framkommit, där denne är mycket utsatt. Resultaten visar på att anhörigvårdarna inte ställer några krav på samhället utan är tacksamma för den hjälp de får.

Romers Situation är ett aktuellt ämne som berör och upprör många människor. Syftet med vårstudie var att undersöka hur romers Situation ser ut. I studien valde vi att utgå ifrån romersegna upplevelser och erfarenheter. Våra frågeställningar var hur romer upplever sin Situationsom rom, hur de har blivit bemötta av olika myndigheter och om de upplever att deras romskatradition påverkar deras förutsättningar i livet. Respondenterna i vår undersökning var romer iGöteborg, några av dem arbetade för romers rättigheter och några av dem var allmännamedborgare.

The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers in primary schools experience the Situation of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in their regular classes and also how they plan their teaching for these pupils. The empirical study did intend to answer the following two questions; how do teachers experience the Situation of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in their regular classes? How is teaching of newly arrived immigrant pupils in regular classes being formed? A qualitative method was used in the form of interviews with five primary school teachers from two different schools. The overall perspective I have assumed in this study is the sociocultural perspective, but I have also taken up a second language perspective and an intercultural perspective. All the teachers in the study have described their experiences of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in terms of difficult, tough and demanding at the beginning, but nowadays somewhat easier.

In the dog-human relationship humans are the ones who provide the dog with safety and comfort. Ainsworth's Strange Situation Procedure (ASSP), which was originally developed in humans to study the relationship between mothers and infants, has been modified to investigate the emotional bond research dogs have to a familiar person. Twelve research dogs were tested to investigate whether the dogs performed any behaviours indicating a secure-base effect, such as more exploration and play in the presence of a familiar person and proximity-seeking behaviours when this person is or has been absent. In the ASSP the dog enters a room with a familiar person, is introduced to a stranger, is left alone for a short period of time and experiences moments of separation and reunion. A second variation of the ASSP was added where the familiar person was replaced by another, to the dog, unfamiliar person.

Background:Incoming medical alarm is a common routine for emergency nurses. Working in these Situations may represent a major burden on the individual nurse. Purpose: To investigate emergency room nurses' experiences in receiving medical alerts focused on education, safety, security, skills and experience, and andherence to guidelines. The purpose was also to investigate whether there were any differences in action between the emergency room nurses who had worked longer or shorter period than two years with this.Method:The design was quantitative, comparative and descriptive. Surveys were distributed to 30 nurses who worked in the emergency room at a Swedish hospital.

Det är inte ofta eleverna själva får komma till tals och mycket har förändrats inom specialpedagogik. Problem som bemöttes med negativa attityder p.g.a.

Sammanfattning Syftet med denna studie var att utifrån tidigare forskning mellan åren 2004-2014, analysera och beskriva unga anhörigvårdares perspektiv på sin Situation. Studien analyserar och beskriver även litteraturen kring det anhörigstöd som samhället erbjuder unga anhöriga med demenssjuka föräldrar. De två frågeställningarna utgår från de unga anhörigas perspektiv på sin Situation samt det anhörigstöd som samhället har att erbjuda denna målgrupp. Datamaterialet har samlats in genom att systematiskt granska tidigare kvalitativ forsking på området i form av en kvalitativ metasyntes. Studien visar bland annat att unga anhöriga upplever en komplex och påfrestande Situation till följd av vårdandet av den demenssjuka föräldern.

Our paper is targeting mainly students, but also all other people interested in social work with children. The purpose of our study was to investigate how the social workers experience and handle their work with children, who have been exposed to sexual abuse, and what kind of support and guidance the social workers are offered, in order to handle their working Situation. We chose to perform a qualitative study, by the use of interviews, since we found it to be the most appropriate way to gather the information. Our conclusion is that the work with these issues is emotionally burdensome and requires a great commitment, however it is essential for the social workers to maintain a certain distance to their work, in order not to influence their personal lives. It is through experience and knowledge that the social workers learn how to handle their working Situation.

Abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate if and how the employees in elderly care experience stress and which underlying causes they understand to be important in their work Situation. The purpose was also to investigate whether Karaseks and Theorells demands and control models could be used to explain the employees feelings of stress and to see in which categories the participants are in. Furthermore, the purpose was also to understand the participants work Situation and to describe the factors and remedies the employees perceive to contribute to the stress levels at their workplace. 81 questionnaires were distributed at three different locations, two of which were in Ronneby and one in Örebro. 56 people answered the questionnaires.

Syftet med denna studie var att studera barns inflytande i förskolan. Intresset riktades mot hur barns inflytande kom i uttryck i den vardagliga praktiken i förskolan. Inflytande definierades som möjlighet att ta initiativ och kunna påverka sin Situation. Utgångspunkten i studien var att makten är relationell, vilket innebär att makten kan överföras och förhandlas mellan parterna. I förskolekontext innebär detta att även om det är de vuxna i förskolan som har det yttersta ansvaret så kan barnen få inflytande genom att förhandla och utmana reglerna.

Academic research concerning how to determine the power Situation in a supply chain where an investment product supplier is involved did not exist. Therefore new models has been developed that analyses the power relations and maps out the power Situation in a supply chain. In the future these models can be applied on similar cases by modifying the included parameters. The new models show that case company FAS should focus on the big producers of garbage bag which are Trioplast, Rullpack and Miljösäck. By strengthen the brand FAS can make more money in these relations.

The aim of thesis was to, through a action research study and through individual interviews with five students, clarify their perspective on educational assistance in high school. The study shows that students prefer teaching in small groups outside of regular whole class because it gives the them access to the factors they consider crucial for a functioning support-time whit a skilled and dedicated teatcher, in a calm and safe environment. Moreover, the students claim the importance of technical equipment especially in the Swedish subject, but also in other subjects. Today the educational assistance varies from an outside-the-class teaching Situation to a whole-class Situation with teacher support as well as technicaal equipment. When the student were asked to describe the cinditions under which studies can be conducted with the whole class they tried to imitate the learning environment they have in a small group.

Lidande är en individuell, subjektiv och komplex upplevelse med en negativ mening som en person tilldelar en Situation eller ett hot. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av lidande hos personer med kronisk sjukdom. 10 vetenskapliga artiklar har analyserats med en manifest innehållsanalys som resulterade i fyra kategorier: Att leva i hopplöshet: Att tvingas till förändringar i livet: Att känna brist på kontroll: Att inte blisedd. Resultatet visade att personer med kronisk sjukdom upplevde livet som hopplöst och kaotiskt. De tvingades förändra det dagliga livet, framtidsplanerna och kände att kroppen svek.

More and more people in our society take part in adult education. In this study, eight students in adult education, the majority with a diagnosis such as ADHD and/or reading- and writing disorders/dyslexia,have been interviewed about their current study Situation. The interviews have so party treated topics related to earlier schooling and the future. Earlier studies and available literature is to a large extent written from the perspective of children?s and adolescents? study Situation and the question is if this is applicable to students in adult education.
