Integration av invandrare i det svenska samhället är ett aktuellt och angeläget ämne. En bristande social integration är ett resultat av en mängd olika faktorer på olika nivåer och kan leda till kriminalitet. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att identifiera några av dessa faktorer och påvisa den speciella situation som uppstår för invandrarpojkar då dessa faktorer sammanfaller. Vår frågeställning är: Vilka sociala faktorer gör att pojkar med invandrarbakgrund hamnar i kriminalitet och missbruk? Tillvägagångssättet har varit att med en kvaltitativ metod där tre nyckelinformanter, samtliga med mångårig erfarenhet från vård av kriminella invandrarpojkar, och fyra invandrare med ett kriminellt förflutet deltog.

This thesis focus on the presentation of the filmic room the viewer sees in George A. Romero´s three horror classics Night, Dawn and Day of the Dead. The hypothesis goes as follow; fear and element of tension becomes greater if the audience/viewer has a good knowledge about the filmic room in the film, in other words, a good spatial awareness. The conclusion is that it does. The environment is active in its becoming and in its presentation to the viewer.

This master thesis is about Augmented Reality (AR), a phenomenon that has existed since the mid-fifties but only recently has become available for the general public. This report is a knowledge compilation about AR, focusing on AR in cell phones and the use of the technology in traffic related situations.AR is usually described as adding a digital layer of information onto the real world. There are different technologies to make virtual images; in cell phones sensor-based and camera-based technologies are the most common ones.In this report, the market of AR applications for cell phones has been investigated. Three use cases have also been investigated in order to get more knowledge about the designers' thoughts and visions.In order to analyze the technology and the applications in a broader and more scientific perspective, two theories has been used: Situation awareness (SA) and the Service Dominant Logic (SDL). These theories seem useful when reflecting on the Swedish road administrations vision, and to investigate what the applications and the AR technology can contribute to the traffic domain.The conclusions of this thesis are that:- AR can be applied on most of the human senses, but augmenting by visualization is most common.- The market for cell phone applications is growing rapidly: AR applications are relatively new but on the rise.

To become old and live in an institution could mean that the habits and routines they have obtained during their lifetime and are used to may become changed. There are fixed norms and rules which the elderly more or less have to adjust to. The aim of this study was to describe how nursing staff attitudes influence on elderly care takers meal situation. The method of this study was a literature review. The result showed that norms and rules not always are adjusted to caretakers? wishes and needs.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur man kan förbättra tvåspråkiga elevers situation i skolan. En litteraturstudie och intervjuer med fem lärare har legat till grund för undersökningen av hur viktig modersmålsundervisningen och undervisningen i svenska som andraspråk är för tvåspråkiga elever samt huruvida det skulle vara bättre att undervisa dessa elever på deras modersmål i till exempel samhällsorienterande ämnen. Resultatet visar att det är mycket viktigt att behålla modersmålet och utveckla det. Därför borde modersmåls- undervisningen ligga inom eller strax efter ordinarie skoltid. Man borde även sträva efter att förbättra modersmålslärarnas status.

The purpose to this survey is to map out the affordances available in the outdoor environment of one preschool. This has been executed through three episodes of observing children at that preschool during their outdoor play. All visible affordances has been written down and later on summarized in different themes where the most interesting meeting places in the outdoor environment at the pre-school have been described. The result of the study shows what the children at this preschool do in their outdoor environment. It also shows the importance of the arrangement of material and environment in order to be able to support childrens play.

The economic conditions for Swedish dairy farmers are constantly changing. The numbers of producers are declining and the economic conditions for dairy production are weakening debilitating. To improve the economic situation for a farm a hired contractor is a possible solution since previous studies show that machinery cooperation may be beneficial for the farmers. The aim of this study is to examine the possibility for farmers to cut costs by hiring a contractor for harvesting silage. A comparison between using own machinery and hire a contractor is the starting point of this study. Another aim is to discuss the farmer?s decision process when achieving today?s situation and to determinate what factors affect their decisions. The study is based on cases selected from four farms that today have chosen not to or only to some extent, hire a contractor for harvesting silage.

This thesis discusses how companies work with internal marketing to increase personnel motivation and comfort, and how internal marketing and employee rewards are valued by companies? management. Issues addressed include: the link between employee satisfaction and the success of companies: how to work successfully with internal marketing: the value of different kinds of rewards for personnel: the importance of communication and information. By studying literature and theories about these issues and also interviewing personnel managers in two different companies we have learnt that companies use internal marketing with awareness and thought. We also learnt that company leaders value employee rewards very high, although there is a different in what sort of rewards they value the most..

The purpose of this study was to explore nurses' experiences of obstructed airways in the prehospital work.A qualitative interview study with a descriptive and explorative design was used. The sample consisted of nine registered nurses whereof three were women and six were men, with or without further education and varying length of experience in the ambulance service.Prehospital personnel builds up a vast plan of action based on the emergency information provided by SOS. Simple methods for managing obstructed airways were stated often enough. Problems with obstructed airways are considered so unusual that it never becomes a routine. Several factors affect the identification and managing of obstructed airways, both external factors and the different patient categories are considered important.

Föreliggande studie är av kvalitativ art och grundar sig på intervjuer med tio arbetssökande ungdomars om deras situation där subjektiva upplevelser framkommit. Syftet med studien är att få en förståelse för hur tio ungdomar upplever den egna situationen som arbetssökande och sin framtidstro. Ungdomarna befinner sig inom den arbetsmarknadspolitiska åtgärden Vägvisaren, vilket är empirins fält. Bakgrunden belyser vilka effekter det faktum att individen är arbetssökande får för vardagslivet. Bakgrunden behandlar också de faktorer som försvårar ungdomarnas inträde på arbetsmarknaden. För att förklara ungdomarnas situation som arbetssökande och styrka analysen har Ziehe's och Giddens teorier om livsplaner, livsstilar och faktorer som leder till ångest använts.

Over 40 miljon people in the world suffer from hiv/aids today. Africa is the continent that is worst affected by hiv/aids but how is the situation in Sweden? Why is it so quiet concerning hiv/aids in Sweden? Our aim with this work was to find out about the hiv/aids situation in Sweden and particulary in Malmö. The result of our research was that hiv/aids have increased since the year 2000 and most of the people had caught the infection in other countries than Sweden. This raised our curiosity concerning how immigrants/refugees are being treated when they arrive in Malmö and what are being done to stop hiv/aids from spreading further.We became very disappointed when we realised how little that is actually being done and how poorly the collaboration between the institutions are working.

The interest for power and energy measurement has greatly raised with todays increasing electricity prices and enviromental awareness. In the search for energy efficient solutions, the measurements are more complex due to increasing of non linear components. Denna uppsats handlar om en komparativ studie om hur soldater upplevde krig, med fokus påderas egna berättelser, det vill säga hur soldaterna uppfattade sin situation ur ett mycketpersonligt perspektiv. Objekten i denna studie är de amerikanska soldaterna som frivilligtsökte sig till kriget i Vietnam samt de frivilliga svenska soldaterna som under de förstamissionerna åkte till det pågående kriget i Bosnien. Syftet med uppsatsen är därmed attundersöka om de amerikanska och de svenska soldaterna hade liknande eller skildauppfattningar om de svårigheter som förekom genom att verka i en miljö som präglades avdöd, lidande och att hamna i plötsliga, livshotande situationer. Resultaten av undersökningenvisar, trots de olika typerna av konflikter, att det förekom skillnader och även likheter i deberättelser som skildrar synen på mod, rädsla, de inblandade parterna med mera.Undersökningen utgår från gjord forskning av de amerikanska soldaternas brevkorrespondens,vilket personligt och ingående skildrar deras situation. Gällande de svenska soldaternassituation i Bosnien så beskrivs den ur ett antal undersökningar (intervjuer) samt ur tvåbiografier, vilket ligger till grund för en jämförelse i denna undersökning..

I de allra flesta länder regleras redovisningen på ett eller annat sätt. Det finns dock ingenting som visar på vilket sätt som är mest lämpligt när det gäller att framföra en rättvisande bild av en verksamhets ekonomiska situation till dess intressenter. Om en situation är komplex vilket kännetecknas av svårigheter att få en helhetsbild av situationen och osäkerhet råder då situationen är svårhanterlig och riktlinjer, rekommendationer samt praxis saknas kan en rättvisande bild bli svårt att förmedla. Stadsomvandlingen av Kiruna är en komplex situation då främst för att det i Sverige aldrig hanterats en liknande situation men också på grund av att situationen bland annat berör många olika områden. En fallstudie där syfte är att beskriva och analysera utmaningarna inom kommunal redovisning i komplexa situationer genomfördes.
