Our paper is targeting mainly students, but also all other people interested in social work with children. The purpose of our study was to investigate how the social workers experience and handle their work with children, who have been exposed to sexual abuse, and what kind of support and guidance the social workers are offered, in order to handle their working situation. We chose to perform a qualitative study, by the use of interviews, since we found it to be the most appropriate way to gather the information. Our conclusion is that the work with these issues is emotionally burdensome and requires a great commitment, however it is essential for the social workers to maintain a certain distance to their work, in order not to influence their personal lives. It is through experience and knowledge that the social workers learn how to handle their working situation.

Abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate if and how the employees in elderly care experience stress and which underlying causes they understand to be important in their work situation. The purpose was also to investigate whether Karaseks and Theorells demands and control models could be used to explain the employees feelings of stress and to see in which categories the participants are in. Furthermore, the purpose was also to understand the participants work situation and to describe the factors and remedies the employees perceive to contribute to the stress levels at their workplace. 81 questionnaires were distributed at three different locations, two of which were in Ronneby and one in Örebro. 56 people answered the questionnaires.

Syftet med denna studie var att studera barns inflytande i förskolan. Intresset riktades mot hur barns inflytande kom i uttryck i den vardagliga praktiken i förskolan. Inflytande definierades som möjlighet att ta initiativ och kunna påverka sin situation. Utgångspunkten i studien var att makten är relationell, vilket innebär att makten kan överföras och förhandlas mellan parterna. I förskolekontext innebär detta att även om det är de vuxna i förskolan som har det yttersta ansvaret så kan barnen få inflytande genom att förhandla och utmana reglerna.

Academic research concerning how to determine the power situation in a supply chain where an investment product supplier is involved did not exist. Therefore new models has been developed that analyses the power relations and maps out the power situation in a supply chain. In the future these models can be applied on similar cases by modifying the included parameters. The new models show that case company FAS should focus on the big producers of garbage bag which are Trioplast, Rullpack and Miljösäck. By strengthen the brand FAS can make more money in these relations.

The aim of thesis was to, through a action research study and through individual interviews with five students, clarify their perspective on educational assistance in high school. The study shows that students prefer teaching in small groups outside of regular whole class because it gives the them access to the factors they consider crucial for a functioning support-time whit a skilled and dedicated teatcher, in a calm and safe environment. Moreover, the students claim the importance of technical equipment especially in the Swedish subject, but also in other subjects. Today the educational assistance varies from an outside-the-class teaching situation to a whole-class situation with teacher support as well as technicaal equipment. When the student were asked to describe the cinditions under which studies can be conducted with the whole class they tried to imitate the learning environment they have in a small group.

Lidande är en individuell, subjektiv och komplex upplevelse med en negativ mening som en person tilldelar en situation eller ett hot. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av lidande hos personer med kronisk sjukdom. 10 vetenskapliga artiklar har analyserats med en manifest innehållsanalys som resulterade i fyra kategorier: Att leva i hopplöshet: Att tvingas till förändringar i livet: Att känna brist på kontroll: Att inte blisedd. Resultatet visade att personer med kronisk sjukdom upplevde livet som hopplöst och kaotiskt. De tvingades förändra det dagliga livet, framtidsplanerna och kände att kroppen svek.

More and more people in our society take part in adult education. In this study, eight students in adult education, the majority with a diagnosis such as ADHD and/or reading- and writing disorders/dyslexia,have been interviewed about their current study situation. The interviews have so party treated topics related to earlier schooling and the future. Earlier studies and available literature is to a large extent written from the perspective of children?s and adolescents? study situation and the question is if this is applicable to students in adult education.

We also learned that although the work with sexual abuse against children gave birth to different emotions of the social worker, the social workers feel satisfaction with their work, by helping the exposed children. We hope that our paper will inspire and encourage to further studies in the area, since there is still much to be explored. .

Huvudsyftet med studien var att belysa vad socialsekreterarna visste om barn till missbrukande föräldrar, barnens behov och situation både i hemmen och ute i samhället. Ytterligare ett syfte var att få en inblick i vad det fanns för insatser och hjälp för dessa barn. Undersökningen gjordes på en socialförvaltning i södra Sverige. En kvantitativ metod valdes då fördelarna med detta var att man nådde många respondenter och anonymiteten säkerställdes. Resultatet visade att kunskapen bland socialsekreterarna var stor, men mer kunskap om vad det finns för specifik hjälp för barn till missbrukare samt hur man samtalar med barn efterlystes.

Postnatal depression (PND) is a condition which affects about 8-15% of recent parents. The cause of PND is unknown but several underlying factors have been purposed through different studies. This descriptive literature review aims to illuminate the parent?s situation when the mother is affected with PND. In search of literature, the databases Medline (via PubMed), Academic Search Elite, Cinahl, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES and SweMed+ were used.

This thesis analyses how romanies look upon schooling and how they reflect upon the possibility of getting an education. Many inquiries relating to romanies have been published in Sweden but very few are based on fieldwork among romanies. The aim of this thesis is therefore to through fieldwork focus on how romanies themselves look upon their educational situation.The main questions for this study are: How is the image of romanies as a problem constructed in school? How are romanies separated from other students? How is the interplay between romanies and school representatives formed? How do romanies look upon the possibility of getting an education and does their perception differ from the usual official apprehension?An important conclusion concerns how social workers and teachers continuously categorize romanies as different. The group is constantly differentiated from other ethnic groups and is often the target of integration projects.

I Sverige diskrimineras invandrarkvinnor inte bara för att de är invandrare utan även kvinna. Det finns även en stereotyp bild av invandrarkvinnan som beskriver henne som outbildad, underordnad hemmafru. Forskning visar att denna felaktiga stereotypa bild av henne inverkar negativt på hennes chanser till arbete och på hennes situation i arbetslivet. Denna bild måste ändras eftersom det finns forskning som visar att det finns grupper av invandrarkvinnor som har lika utbildning som infödda kvinnor eller högre utbildning än dessa. Fokus för denna C-uppsats är ett antal invandrarkvinnors positiva och negativa erfarenheter av det svenska arbetslivet.

The purpose of these theses is to show the financial economical situation during the change from conventional dairy production to ecological production. The thesis is accomplished by collecting information from literature and interviews where needed. The target group of these theses is dairy producers who will transform their production from conventional dairy production to certified ecological dairy production. The theses emphasise on the economic situation during the adjustment years. For this I have studied a presently producing dairy farm.

Abstract Syftet med att studera detta är att undersöka anledningen till den könsuppdelade idrottsundervisningen samt vilka effekterna blivit med fokus på flickornas situation. Detta har vi gjort genom att bedriva observationer i två olika skolor i Blekinge, där en av skolorna fortfarande har gemensam idrott och den andra skolan övergått till könsuppdelad idrottsundervisning. För att bredda vårt material har vi även intervjuat inblandade parter, det vill säga elever, rektorer samt idrottslärare. Resultatet av observationerna och intervjuerna visade att flickornas situation förbättrats i den skola där man infört könsseparerad idrott. Flickorna tar för sig, lever ut och tycker det är roligare med idrott där de kan vara för sig själva.
