The invasive species raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) is currently under establishment Sweden and it is vital to discover invading individuals to prevent colonization. The use of wildlife cameras to discover dispersing raccoon dogs have been implemented in the north-European raccoon dog management program. In this study, I test the ability of four commercially available scent lures to attract raccoon dogs to camera stations. The study was conducted in the Åland Islands where raccoon dogs are abundant and the results could improve the effectiveness of the camera stations used in the program. I used 12 sites with five camera stations in each and tested the four lures and one control with no lure in each site.

Syfte: Att undersöka ambulanssjuksköterskors upplevelser av att omhänderta pediatriska traumapatienter med fokus på prioriteringar, beslutsfattande, behandlingsriktlinjer (beslutsstöd) samt uppföljning av patientfall.Metod: Kvalitativ intervjustudie med beskrivande och utforskande design. Urvalet bestod av åtta ambulanssjuksköterskor, sju män och en kvinna, med tre till 16 års erfarenhet inom yrket. Data analyserades genom kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: I mötet med barn inom ambulanssjukvården har ambulanssjuksköterskans eget föräldraskap och barnets föräldrar en betydelse. Praktiska och mentala förberedelser samt ett gott bemötande är viktigt. Att prioritera och bedöma barn är svårt då det föreligger anatomiska/fysiologiska och psykologiska skillnader.

Dark Tourism is a relatively new concept, but as a phenomenon it has existed for centuries in the form of pilgrimages and gladiator games. The term includes visits to places associated with death and disaster, and has in more recent years become a highlighted tourist niche. This paper addresses the phenomenon of Dark Tourism and the reasons behind a visit to such an attraction. To find out the motive behind people's visits, interviews were conducted with respondents who have previously visited one or more Dark Tourism sites. A total of 32 people were interviewed about what influenced them to go to such a macabre place.

2. SUMMARY A small garden exposed to a harsh coastal climate can be difficult to design. Limitations in space and in plant varieties increase the needs of an in-depth knowledge to achieve wanted goals. In this degree project the challenge has been to create a functional and position adapted garden for a very small beach house lot in Mölle, a little harbour village at the south coast of Kullaberg. ?Villa Malm?, is situated directly on the bedrock in a close settlement where the gardens, in most cases are very small and exposed to strong salty winds.

Detta kan leda till att barn och ungdomar utsätter sig själva för ökad risk för akuta skador och överbelastningsskador. Syfte: Att applicera och anpassa Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center (OSTRC) svenska enkät till ett pojklag inom juniorishockey under en fyraveckorsperiod samt att genomföra en skaderegistrering mot de fysiska hälsoproblemen (akut skada, överbelastningsskada och sjukdom) och belysa dessa inom juniorishockey. Material och metod: Samtliga spelarna i ett pojklag (ålder 15-18) i ishockey fick under fyra veckors tid fylla i OSTRC enkät en gång i veckan.

The spatial population structure of the saprotrophic basidiomycete Tulostoma brumale was investigated at a site in south eastern Sweden. Sporocarps were mapped and collected, and somatic incompatibility tests between mycelial cultures cultivated from the sporocarps were used to identify genets. Calculations of the size and numbers of genets and their distribution were performed. The spatial distribution of the tested sporocarps and the identified genets are presented graphically in a grid. The total number of identified genets within the investigated area (1210 m2) was 27 based on 48 tested sporocarps.

The risks of facebook is the difficulty in educating the staff about the site and the fact that facebook dominates the policies and rules which suddenly can change.

B Locket AB is a large ad-company from Sweden, located in Stockholm.Search engines on the market today are becoming more and more complex. When they were first introduced, they only had one function and that was to produce search results containing the string that the user had typed. Today, users want it to be able to spellcheck, produce more results and sort search results on specific fields as well. Preferably, all these features should not affect the performance as a whole.The reason to why these demands have come up is that users are getting more and more used to internet services as a whole and they want everything to be as easy as possible.The user ability has become a substantially more important area in the computer industry and this needs to be taken into account when it comes to B Locket AB and its search engine.

The purpose of this study was to compare naturally regenerated Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris (L.)) against seeded Scots pine in terms of benefits and differences. An inventory was performed at a number of different sites, 4 ? 6 years after soil scarification and data on the number of new established plants, their height growth as well as ground-line diameter was collected. Information about site conditions such as altitude, quarter exposure and frost risk was also collected. A review of previous studies was conducted in addition to the field study.

Introduction: To become acute ill and to be forced to seek treatment involves a difficult but also a vulnerable time for the individual. This acquires a good relationship between the nurse and the patient. At a surgical emergency ward patients with different diagnoses and trauma are treated. What distinguishes this specific type of ward is that care often occurs in a rapid rate and as a patient the environment may be experienced as stressed. The relationship with the nurse at the ward establishes a foundation for how the patient experiences the health care.

I Sverige amputeras cirka 2500 personer varje år, 80 procent av dessa beror på cirkulationsrubbningar, andra orsaker kan vara trauma eller olycka. Vi lever genom våra kroppar och när kroppen förändras kommer även livsvärlden att förändras. När en person genomgår en plötslig amputation påverkas personens välbefinnande och det blir också en omtumlande upplevelse att tvingas in i en ny livssituation, då arbetsliv, sociala livet och personliga livet påverkas av skadan. Då sjuksköterskans uppgift är att främja patientens hälsa och minska dennes lidande, är det viktigt att han/hon vet hur det är att ha drabbats av en plötslig amputation och hur patientens livsvärld har förändrats. Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur patienter upplever att livsvärlden förändrats efter en plötslig amputation.

Background and aim: The number of refugees and unaccompanied children are increasing in Sweden and these people belong to one of the groups that are at higher risk for developing suicidal behavior. At the same time the lack of research on the subject is mentioned several times by different sources. The aim of this study is therefore to investigate suicidal behavior among young refugees between the ages 13 to 18 years in Sweden, from personnel experiences in social services.Method: We have chosen a qualitative approach with seven narrative interviews that each lasted for about one hour and were recorded. The interview guide was semi structured. The respondents in this study consist of one student counselor, workers from two child psychiatry departments and four different residential care homes for unaccompanied children and young persons.Results and conclusions: The respondents had the understanding that young refugees have been through a lot, lost their families and experienced difficult traumas and a tough refuge.

During the years 2006-2010 Gotland University conducted seminars excavations in Västergarn parish on Gotland. Inside the wall a total of six house foundations have been found and a total of 127 combs have been registered. This thesis is based on a material study of the 127 registered medieval combs. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the combs and with their chronology illuminate in which period the society of Västergarn was active. And also to find out what the material remains can tell us about the place and its people.

IKT (Informations- och Kommunikationsteknologi) är något som idag präglar vårt samhälle vilket leder till att dess användningsområden numera enbart begränsas av vår egen fantasi. Att använda IKT vid kriser ser vi idag som en självklarhet, men hur ser egentligen användningen av IKT ut före, under och efter en kris ut bland kommunala skolor?Studies resultat, som baserats på svar från två kommuner belägna i olika delar av Sverige, visar att kommunala regleringar och policys till stor del styr hur IKT används vid krissituationer. Kommunen säger att all officiell information skall publiceras via deras hemsida, vilket begränsar i vilken utsträckning skolan kan använda IKT i krissituationer. Resultat av studien visar också att det är främst verktygen som personalen använder i det vardagliga arbetet som också används till hjälp i krisarbetet och att sociala medier används i viss mån..

Introduktion: Familjecentrerad vård innebär en process där involvering och deltagande leder till professionellt stöd för barn och familj. Detta karaktäriseras av en relation mellan vårdpersonal och familj där båda parter tar åtar sig ansvar för barnets omvårdnad och hälsovård. För barn upplevs en separation från föräldrarna ofta som ett stort trauma, varför det är viktigt att föräldrarna är närvarande under sjukhusvistelsen. Föräldrar kan bland annat bidra med tröst och stöd till barnet. Familjecentrerad vård ger således en möjlighet för familjen att vara delaktig i barnets vård.
