I lokförarens arbetsmiljö ingår, förutom vardagsstressen med tidsbrist och brist på vikarier, hotet att när och var som helst längs spåret köra på en människa, antingen vid en olyckshändelse eller, vilket är vanligare, då en människa bestämt sig för att ta sitt liv.Det finns en lagstiftning som sätter ramarna för hur arbetsgivaren återinsätter lokföraren i säkerhetstjänst efter påkörning. Det finns också en lagstiftning angående arbetsgivarens skyldighet för krisberedskap. Däremot varierar rutinerna kring olyckor och påkörningar över landet och mellan företagen som arbetar med spåbunden trafik.Huruvida psykiska symptom uppträder efter psykiskt trauma eller inte, är dels avhängigt av individens nuvarande situation, socialt nätverk eller privata trauman, dels på det omedelbara bemötandet vid olycksplatsen, vid den akuta händelsen. Risken att insjukna i posttraumatiskt stressyndrom är mellan 5-30 % efter en allvarlig händelse. Det är av största vikt att känna igen den allvarliga akuta stressreaktionen och känna till den drabbades livssituation och tidigare allvarliga händelser, för att kunna förebygga psykisk sjukdom.

The theme of this thesis is citizen participation in the planning- and design process. It turns to everyone that studies landscape architecture or work as landscape architects and I hope that it can function as a ground for discussions as well as a source for inspiration. Rågsved is a suburb south of Stockholm. Just outside the centre of this suburb, a small industrial area called Snösätra, is located. In a few years time the leaseholds for the small industries will expire and the key question is: What will happen then? This is my general concern and it was the main cause for me to start this particular work. How do you attend to a place that appears like blank sheet of paper? To an empty page that can be filled with an infinite number of different formulations.

In my degree project I have focused on how to make it easier for ambulance personnel to remove a motorcycle helmet after an accident. During my research I have interviewed ambulance personnel from different cities and a trauma surgeon to get a better understanding of how they work today and the problems they experience. Some of the problem areas are that you need a lot of force to remove the helmet, that the padding catches the ears and that the chin guard catches the face. Since ambulance personnel always assume that there is a neck injury after an accident, all these problems make it difficult to remove the helmet safely.The result is a motorcycle helmet with a focus on safe removal after an accident, to reduce the risk of worsening a neck injury. The solution suggested is that a small part of the back of the helmet is detachable, to make the opening larger.

Studien undersöker hur psykoterapeuter påverkas av sitt arbete med traumatiserade patienter. Sju psykoterapeuter på tre traumamottagningar har i denna studie varit föremål för kvalitativa intervjuer. I mötet med det otänkbara exponeras psykoterapeuterna för närgångna berättelser som ofta är mycket detaljerade beskrivningar om mänsklig grymhet, råhet och ondska. Variationer i arbetsuppgifter på traumamottagningen, egen handledning och egen existentiell bearbetning är några exempel på hur psykoterapeuterna hanterar det material de exponeras för i patienternas berättelser. I intervjuerna framkom att det kliniska arbetet påverkade det egna livet utanför arbetet.

The purpouse of this study is to find out how and if a Content Managment System (CMS) can benefit from applied User Experience Design (UX). A work project has been executed where a client wanted the students to create a user friendly CMS for adding content to a global hotel review site. A prototype of a CMS was created based on literature studies about UX and CMS. The prototype of the user friendly CMS was then tested through user tests and interviews with key users. After input from the key users the prototype was changed until the users were satisfied with it..

The aim of this dissertation is the production of a landscape management document to protect and improve elements of biological, cultural and economic value found within the site at Tosthult. The study involves both analysis of the current grazing regime, comparison of today?s flora with flora collected in the fifties and a SWOT analysis of inhabitants? views on Tosthult?s landscape and neighbourhood. The resultant landscape management document applies to an area over 134 ha and is valid for thirty years. The proposal contains 26 separate management units, each with necessary information on the area, definition of management goals and the mix of management procedures to undertake.

Virtual communities are a phenomenon that is becoming more common as the information technology comes with in reach for the general public. This report will bring the theories and construction of a virtual community together. The purpose of this report is to describe the different theories that have emerged from the research within this field and to examine the work procedures that have been used during the development of a site for a MDA-community. The MDA-website is a homepage on the Internet that was developed to bring the students closer together. The report describes the work of the project group, why the website was not completed and at the end the theories are looked at on the basis of the construction of the website..

Traumaomhändertagande gjordes där fokus var på den medicinska och tekniska aspekten på vården, vilket innebar att patienters behov av omvårdnad inte alltid prioriterades. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att sammanställa erfarenheter vid traumaomhändertagande på akutmottagningen. En kunskapsöversikt gjordes och artiklar söktes i databaser och manuellt. I resultatet framkom tre områden: att vara i ett kaos, att bli beroende och att få stöd från närstående. Patienters minne kunde vara påverkat.

The aim of this qualitative study was to get a deeper understanding of social workers experience that children who participate in the Trappan-insatsen get a sense of coherence. To achieve an empirical material social workers who perform Trappan-samtal have been interviewed. The study shows that it is important that children get help and support to talk about the trauma they experienced. The support of the narrative, however, differ depending on the child's age, it is important to have a flexible approach as a Trappan-user. It appears that it is essential that parents give their consent to the children so they can talk about the violence.

Abstract ? What is an exhibition hall? ? How do you create tension between art and nature? ? Why should an exhibition hall be situated in the country side; would that add to the experience? ? What are the conditions of exhibiting contemporary art? These are some of the questions I first asked myself when I came to work with this project on an exhibition hall outside Kivik, Österlen. These questions brought me to new places, meetings and ideas. The team working actively to realize this project, calls it ?Art by the Sea?. The team has been working with the project since 2001 .

Uppsatsens huvudsyfte är att undersöka hur vuxna överlevare från sexuella övergrepp i barndomen hanterar sia erfareneheter och läker effekterna av traumat. Kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med fem informanter. De huvudsakliga slutsatserna av materialanalysen är följande: Relationen till make eller annan partner har större positivt inflyttande på läkningsprocessen än relationen till terapeut eller internetbaserade relationer till andra överlevare. Överlevare kan under läkningsprocessen finna en positiv mening i förmågor de tillägnat sig för att överleva traumat. I läkningsprocessen kan överlevare ändra sina grundantaganden i positiv riktning.

The purpose of this study is to facilitate sustainable building by the use of BIM. The goal is to determine which aspects of sustainable building, which can be analyzed mainly with BIM tools, but also other aids.The study is based on literature studies and interviews. The literature review examines aspects important for sustainable building by studying environmental certification systems applicable in Sweden, as well as the BIM tools available on the market to analyze these aspects. The literature also includes the concepts of BIM and sustainability in order to provide a clearer view of its meaning. The interviews have brought the study's overall understanding of the industry and guidance on the subject.The results are presented in a table, where the aspects relevant to sustainable building are listed.

De flesta av Sveriges kommuner har ett mål där de strävar efter att bygga ett hållbart samhälle, vilket innebär att man utnyttjar den befintliga infrastrukturen. Målet med detta är att dra nytta av de obebyggda områdena i stadsbilden genom att bygga nytt. Eftersom de tysta sidorna av byggnaderna ska ligga på en ljudnivå under 45 dB(A) har det här examensarbetet behandlat de möjliga lösningar som kan tillämpas vid bullerdämpning. En platsinventering har utförts där de olika förutsättningarna har studerats, och där resultaten av studierna har granskats med syfte till att planera en vision.Nyckelord: Bullerdämpning, bostadsutformning, platsinventering.
