Lärande - styrt eller i samspel? : En studie om lärares syn på undervisning och lärande
This study?s purpose was to examine which main forms of teaching methods that occurs in the Swedish nine-year compulsory school and how often learning through social collaboration take place. The study contained literature and interviews with eight teachers. Our research-questions were: What is the teacher?s opinion about different teaching methods, their opinion about learning and teaching and if there were any difference between the teachers teaching younger or older students regarding teaching methods? Our conclusions of this study were that ?lecture-methods? is the most common among teachers.
En studie om ett bibliotekssamarbetes gemensamma arbete kring resurser : HelGe-bibliotekens resursfördelning
This bachelor thesis explores the library collaboration "HelGe-libraries" goals, guidelines and strategies for their resource sharing of library books and digital resources. The questions asked were: What does the resource sharing look like when it comes to media and services? What goals and guidelines do they have for the resource sharing? What common strategies do they have for the resource sharing? What challenges have they encountered with resource sharing and how have they dealt with them?The theoretical framework consists of Jennifer Rowleys theory of innovation strategies for libraries and Rosabeth Moss Kanters theory on the art of alliances. The method used to collect material was interviews and document analysis. Four informants were interviewed.My study concludes that the "HelGe-libraries" has formulated goals for their resource sharing and that the resource sharing is connected to their goals.

Denna artikel presenterar en Learning Study som innehåller tre forskningslektioner.Syftet med studien var att analysera på vilket sätt variationsmönster inverkar på enelevgrupps lärande och förståelse för vad som påverkar blodomloppet. Studiensdesign baserades på Variationsteorin och undersökningsgruppen utgjordes av 45elever i årskurs sex. Resultatet visade att alla elever utvecklade sina kunskaper omvad som påverkar blodomloppet. Genom att åskådliggöra blodcirkulationen som ettsammanbundet system och hur en väska transporteras i ett helt system gentemot ettsystem med hål i fick eleverna se att oavsett var i systemet brottet är påverkas alla delarna..
Ålandsfrågan : En studie ur ett medieperspektiv
AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to study in what way teachers in preschool work with pupils enabling them to gain influence and involvement in their learning.Influence means being able to make your voice heard which is an important component of a democratic society. Involvement is about being part of a community in which everyone is welcomed regardless of beliefs and opinions. Several of today's researchers believe that learning occurs in interaction between people. Teachers providing meaningful assignments to pupils, they become more motivated to learn.The study is based on observations of how teachers work with influence and involvement in controlled sessions, and interpretations of them. My results show that children become involved in their learning when they are confronted with a variety of pedagogical approaches to learning.
Vilken roll spelar förskoleklassen i vårt skolsystem? En studie av läroplanerna för förskolan och grundskolan : Med fokus på rådande diskurser om barns lärande och utveckling
The aim of this essay is to get a view of the contemporary approach to children´s learning and how children´s learning and development are influenced by the preschool year for six- year olds, by analyzing the Swedish curriculum. What is the purpose of the preschool- year for six year-olds? What does the curriculum say about what children need when entering primary school? I also wish to investigate how through the curriculum common norms and standards, as far as children´s learning are concerned, are shown and discussed. My result show that the curriculum does not mention much about the preschool year for six-year-olds at all. It seems that this year in school is not given priority, which makes it difficult for the teachers to work with the children of this age and to know what their assignment is.

The purpose of this study is to, based on qualitative interviews, understand the home care staff's experiences of insufficiency and also which strategies they are using to deal with these experiences.The questions of this study are:In which situations are home care staff experiencing insufficiency?What copingstrategies do home care staff set out to deal with these experiences? Method: Interviews has been used as a method to gather empirical data.Theory: Theories of coping-strategies has been used as theory in the analyses of the empirical material.Results: The result of this study concludes that experiences of insufficiency mainly promotes in situations of lack of time for various reasons. The main strategies home care staff is using are planning, adapting, accepting, compensation, get themselves together, control and manage their emotions and understanding. Other situations that promote feelings of insufficiency are lack of competence and when the eldery person doesn't want to receive a planned effort. Sinnesintegrerad undervisning : En kvalitativ studie av tre pedagogers syn på lärande och integrering av ett synskadat barn
SammanfattningEn lärare måste vara förberedd på att i sitt klassrum möta elever som har olika behov och förutsättningar. Elever lär också på olika vis och behöver olika mycket stöttning. Detta gör att läraren måste ha kunskap till att anpassa undervisningen utefter individen och gruppens behov. När man som lärare får en elev till klassen som har ett ovanligt funktionshinder så bör det ställas högre krav på arbetssättet, för att eleven ska kunna tillgodogöra sig undervisningen på bästa sätt.Syftet med undersökningen är att belysa hur pedagogerna i klassen uppfattar lärandet samt hur de anpassar undervisningen utefter individens behov och förutsättningar. Mina frågeställningar är hur bedrivs undervisning i ett klassrum i skolans tidigare år där det finns en synskadad elev? Samt vad innebär det för ett barn att ha en synskada?I mitt arbete har jag gjort en litteraturundersökning för att få en vidgad bild på ett synskadat barns behov.

In today?s individualistic society, I experience a need to bring forward the importance of collaboration. From a sociocultural perspective, I have chosen to highlight the positive and negative aspects of collaborative learning, with the intention of illustrating the effects for the individual learning and development. I have therefore made an interview with an educationalist, who?s been a teacher all her grown up life, with the intent of illustrating her thoughts on collaborative learning.
IKT-satsningar i skolan En jämförande studie av nationella IKT-satsningar mot grundskolan och gymnasiet i Japan och Sverige
Technological advancements in information and communication technologies (ICT) have resulted ina need to use ICT in schools. Sweden has actively promoted ICT in schools since the early 1980's.In Japan, 1994 saw the government's first step towards active promotion of ICT in education. In thisstudy, we have compared the strategies used to promote the use of ICT in elementary and secondaryschools in Sweden and Japan. Our findings suggest that a similar 3-step approach was used in bothcountries: 1, infrastructure; 2, effective use of ICT; 3, implementation of ICT. A significantdifference was found in the way the two countries planned their strategies.

The aim of this study is through a teacher perspective illustrate and analyze how preschool teachers apprehend children´s learning in relation to the preschool yard.The main research questions asked were:How do preschool teachers apprehend the preschool yard in reference to it as a place?In what way do preschool teachers use the preschool yard in their work with the children?How do preschool teachers view the preschool yard and the significance it has on children´s learning?The research is based on data collected through interviews and observations at four different preschools in the same municipality. The research views place and people as social constructions, a theory of knowledge that is based on the view that the world, places and people are constructed in relation to each other. This perspective as well as previous research is used for analyzing the data collected through a qualitive study based on interviews. The data analyzed show that the preschool teachers involved in this research apprehend the preschool yard as a central part in the learning of young children.
VoIP Revolution - strategies to survive the future of telecom
This essay is a study of the market strategies and situations in the telephone business. Our problem was to examine the telecom companies´ strategies to stay competitive and cope with the new VoIP technology. We chose to do a qualitative study and four telephone interviews were made with Swedish and Dutch companies. We investigated three different categories of companies in the market; industry leaders, cable companies and broadband companies to get a broad view of the market. The theory chapter is based on different strategies that companies have to or can apply to get ahead, stay or survive in a hypercompetition.
Upplevelser och hanteringsstrategier hos ungdomar med IBD. : en litteraturstudie
The purpose of this study was to describe how adolescents aged 12-18 years with inflammatory bowel disease experience their illness and what coping strategies they use to manage their illness and improve their wellbeing. The method used was a descriptive literature study, and the result of the study included 15 scientific articles. Our results showed that IBD affected the adolescent?s everyday life and social life with friends, family and activities. The adolescents also reported that they experienced a feeling of vulnerability, altered body image and that they saw themselves as different from healthy subjects.
Läkemedelsbolagens strategier för att begränsa nedgång i marknadsandelar vid patentutgång
The purpose of this thesis is to increase the understanding on how market leading pharmaceutical companies in Sweden limit the market share decrease when these companies patent expires. In order to respond to the purpose, two research questions have been asked: how do pharmaceutical companies deal with market strategies prior to the expiration of a patent: and how the market strategies is used when a patent has expired and as a consequence, generics entered the market. A case study was implemented based on two interviews with a brand manager and a therapy area manager within the company Pfizer AB in Sweden. The results suggest that pharmaceutical companies implement strategies in numerous ways which differs substantially from the theories, this having to do with Swedish legislation. The main aim with the execution of the strategy, before and after patent expiration is not to limit a decrease in market share hence, rather to retain the pharmaceutical companies strong brand image.
Utbildning och lärandeteori - om lärares professionella utveckling i en Learning Study
Bakgrund:Läraryrkets komplexitet och bristen på lärares teoretiska förankring öppnar för att i en variationsteoretisk ram fokusera ett lärandeobjekt som ett sätt att utveckla lärarnas lärande samt lärarprofessionen.Syfte:Syftet med studien är att undersöka några lärares föreställningar om innehållet i deras undervisning, deras föreställningar om elevernas lärande samt hur detta innehåll gestaltas under en lesson/learning study.Metod:Genom deltagande i planerings- och analysmöten samt genom observationer studeras lärarnas samtal om och deras gestaltningar av ett innehåll i vad som kan sägas vara en mix av en lesson study och en learning study.Resultat:Lärarnas samtal under planeringsarbetet och genomförandet kännetecknades av en låg grad av teorianknytning, där innehållets strukturella aspekter inte synliggjordes. I lärarnas samtal synliggjordes inte heller elevernas lärande vilket däremot kom till uttryck i undervisningssituationerna..
Utomhusmatematik : Hur förhåller sig förskollärare till denna pedagogik?
Utomhusmatematik är en god arbetsform vid inlärning av matematik. Miljön utomhus skapar en lust och vilja för barn att utforska med hjälp av hela sin kropp och alla sina sinnen. För att stimulera barn i sin matematiska förmåga har förskolläraren en viktig roll. De behöver vara lyhörda, utmanande och engagerade i arbetet med barngruppen för att därmed kunna synliggöra de matematiska möjligheterna. Syftet med den kvalitativa studien är att undersöka hur förskollärare på olika förskolor förhåller sig till utomhusmatematik, samt hur de synliggör denna pedagogik i verksamheten. Litteraturen berör tidigare forskning kring ämnesområdet och utomhusvistelsens påverkan på barn. Undersökningen bygger på semistrukturerade intervjuer där resultatet visar att förskollärare anser att utomhusmiljön är en god plats för stimulering av matematik.
