However the use of the electrical grid as a communication medium is complex and sometimes problematic. This report handles some of the issues and problems that are important to understand when using the grid as a communications medium. The aim of the "Green forest management plans" is to help forest owners to reach the environmental goal of the forestry act. But are they able to do that? Is it possible to plan preservation of species on single estates? How do single-estate-plans differ from a landscape analysis and how can the landscape approach be used in operative planning? This work was initiated to give an answer to these questions. This study was made in a landscape of 4200 ha in Östergötland county, south-eastern Sweden. A lanscape analysis was made and then compared to the Green forest management plans in the same area. The nature conservation areas (areas that were set aside to be managed with environmenatl goals) differed quite a lot between the two alternatives.

In modern military operations the requirements of transmitting large amounts of information have increased substantially during the last decade. This increases the demand for high-capacity radio networks. It is also very important that military decisions are made on recent and correct information and this implies that low and known delays are required. The existing military radio ommunications, within the Swedish army, do not meet the requirements for capacity and delay. We have investigated how the capacity and average delay can be improved in an Ad Hoc network with STDMA by using antenna arrays.

In 1993 the internal market within the European Union was formed and ensured free movement of goods, services, capital and people. Examensarbetet är en vidareutveckling av ett föregående års arbete vars mål var att skapa en 3D-printad modell av en vakuumlift. Ett hjälpmedel för rörelsehindrade för att plocka upp föremål från marken eller trånga utrymmen. Med det som utgångspunkt har författarna tillsammans med E.MIL Energi & Miljö valt att arbeta vidare med utvecklingen av vakuumliften åt ett mer funktionsinriktat håll. Syftet med arbetet är att göra tester, analysera ingående delar och tillslut skapa en funktionsmodell på vakuumliften som tilldelats arbetsnamnetAG-1305. Genomförandet och metoden har till största del berört tester på två befintliga fläktar, en radialfläkt och en axialfläkt. Flertalet tester har genomförts med ett antal olika vanliga föremål i hushållet.

Detta examensarbete är genomförd som en explorativ fallstudie på ärendehanteringssystem för att se vilken påverkan dessa system har på företagen som använder dem. Tidigare forskning har visat många fördelar från enskilda funktioner inom ärendehantering och ärendehanteringssystem, men det finns en avsaknad av undersökningar som tittar på dessa system som helhet. Examensarbetet genomfördes som en så kallad single case fallstudie på ärendehanteringssystemet SupportPoint som är utvecklat av företaget Syscom..

The cost of forwarding corresponds to about one tenth of the forestry industries raw material cost. This gives a motive to do good follow-ups to get a good overview of the forwarding distance and, thus, enable improvements. Follow-ups are also justified by the possibility to make more accurate calculations of the harvesting costs, if better estimations of forwarding distance are achieved. Today (2009) Stora Enso has GPS and vehicle-computers in most of their forwarders. These are used mainly for the forwarder to follow the tracks of the harvester and for the planning leader to see how the forwarder has been driving within the stand.

The aim of this thesis is to practice the theoretical methods that are concerned during the product development process of two new products. The theoretical concepts that embody the two products are created out of a product specification which is given by a commissioner with a private interest. The primary tasks of the design of the concepts are aimed on the products shape, which is to be created as a flexible structure by using silicon rubber as material.The storage box is a further development of the already known food storage box, or lunch box, which is common used in consumer kitchens. The main idea is to design a flexible product by using silicone rubber. It will able the storage box to be compressed when it is not used, be storage friendly and not consume more space than necessary in a storage compartment.

(The Man Condemned to Death) and ?Mannen från Milesia? (The Man from Milesia). My intention is to discuss a single theme and identity-marks that unites all three works, using Paul Ricoeur?s The Rule of Metaphor (La mêtaphore vive) as well as the ?thematic critique? of Jean-Pierre Richard.What is metaphor for Ricoeur is for Richard themes (theme): an organizing principle, a sort of schedule around which a world is constituted. Hence, I find similarities between the motif-circuits, Ricoeur?s metaphor-theory and Richards?s themes.

Conclusions: A myriad of interpretations are possible when studying and discussing a particular organizational culture. As culture can not be removed from its context, we illuminate the effects that the internationalization process has with regards to unifying the organizational culture in our particular setting studied. Maintaining however, that a reflexive look at this culture shows no single interpretation as being sufficient, we try to expose its richness and ambiguities through a three perspective approach..
