This is a study of how emotional engagement can be measured and be taken into account in the development of websites. We believe that emotions become relevant only when viewed in correlation to how users experiencing a webpage. In this study, we developed a tool for use together with user tests where the information about the user's emotional engagement can add new value to the evaluation. The tool allows the user to mark, on the website, his/her emotions and level of engagement represented by colored circles, generating quantiative data on how users feel about the website. The tool is part of a method for evaluating the emotional engagement that we have developed which consists of user testing supported by the tool and accompanied by interviews..

The aim of the study was to understand professionals? perceptions and experiences of adolescent stress. In the study I interested myself further if you can identify gender-specific patterns in the professional stories about young people's stress and stress related illness. Five interviews were conducted with professionals in psychiatry and social work. The thesis took its incipience in social constructionism.

Practical and theoretical learning are methods that are used in schools as a way to prepare students for the working life. Within the practical learning knowledge is not only acquired to learn in practice, but the students must also be able to apply their theoretical knowledge to what he/she does. Against this background, the aim of the study was to investigate the importance of practical learning for students in college / university level and how they are experiencing the stress that may arise out of the loss of practical learning during their education, as well as their vision for working life after completing their education. The population of the study consisted of N = 36, which 18 of these had used both practical and theoretical learning and the remainder had only used theoretical learning. The method was a questionnaire survey with a high proportion of fixed alternative answers according to likert scales.

Vårt syfte med arbetet var att få en uppfattning beträffande elevers kunskap om stress och upptäcka stressituationer i skolmiljön, samt finna åtgärder mot dessa. Utgångspunkten var larmrapporter om en ökad stress i samhället och då framförallt bland yngre. Vi valde att göra en fenomenologisk studie genom intervjuer och en enkätundersökning i "här och nu" situationer. Resultatet visade att stress är ett abstrakt begrepp som eleverna endast till viss del kunde relatera till sin vardag. Det framkom faktorer som är stressande i skolmiljön.

Sjuksköterskeyrket är ett avancerat yrke som kan innebära mycket stress. Arbetsmiljön har en stor betydelse för vilka källor som orsakar stress. Det är ofta arbetsrelaterad stress som orsakar att sjuksköterskor säger upp sig och lämnar yrket. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser av vad som orsakar stress i arbetsmiljön. Författarna har använt sig av Graneheim och Lundmans analysmetod där textenheter identifierats för att kondenseras och kategoriseras.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether there was any connection between coping strategies; emotional and cognitive strategy and perceived level of stress among primary school teachers in primary and middle school. It was also investigated whether there was a difference between full-time and part-time employees and perceived level of stress. As a theoretical background Lazarus' transaction theory of stress was used as an explanation of mental stress, Lazarus coping strategies for stress and Karasek?s and Theorell?s model of psychosocial work environment was used to explain unhealthy at work. To measure coping we used Coping inventory resources and to measure the stress we used Percieved stress scale.

Mitt syfte med detta examensarbete är att få djupare kunskaper inom området stress eftersom det blir ett allt större problem i vårt samhälle. Jag vill undersöka elevernas och personalens uppfattning om stress. I arbetet för att motverka stress i skolan är avslappning en del. Jag vill ta också reda på om avslappningsträning ger en positiv effekt på barn. Mina frågeställningar handlar om stress, hur den yttrar sig, vilka orsakerna är och hur man kan motverka stress hos barn.

Finns det någon skillnad i upplevd stress hos förskolepedagoger och grundskollärare? Stress hos lärare kan definieras som en känsla av ilska, spändhet, frustration eller depression. Enligt Krav- kontroll-stödmodellen mår de som har jobb med höga krav, låg kontroll och dåligt socialt stöd sämst på jobbet. En kvantitativ studie har gjorts där enkäter delats ut till lärare på förskolan och grundskolan i en mindre ort i Sverige. Data jämfördes sedan med data från en större ort i Sverige.

Stress is common in today?s society, but the word stress has numerous connotations. The aim of this study was to investigate how dogs are effected by stress and what the veterinary nurse can do to help dogs to avoid or at least mitigate stress within the veterinary hospital. The goal was also to see how dogs perceive the environment in the veterinary hospital and what behaviours dogs demonstrate when they enter the hospital and during their stay. Studies have shown that dogs have a reluctant feeling on entering a veterinary hospital. They can feel stressed by coming to a new environment, as well as by being put in a cage with no control over what is going to happen to them.

This study deals with one of the most discussed work environmental issues in the modern society of Sweden today - work related stress, its causes and how stress can affect people in their working situation. Our study is based on a questionnaire among aid handling officers in two municipalities of the middle of Sweden, and two interviews with their directors. We found that aid handling officers has a complex occupational role. We also found that the officers in these two municipalities experiences about the same level of stress.Further in the study, we will deal with whatever could be the cause of the stressful situation, using the demand/control model of Karasek and Theorell. The result shows that despite the similarity of the stress experience, the cause was shown to be different.

Syftet med undersökningen har varit att ta reda på hur pedagoger kan förebygga stress i barns dagliga rutiner. Vi har undersökt vilka rutinsituationer som pedagogerna anser stressar barn mest och hur stress kan förebyggas. Vidare har vi undersökt hur stress påverkar barn i behov av särskilt stöd och om pedagogerna anser att stress är ett problem i deras verksamhet. I litteraturen fann vi att problematiska relationer är en stor stressfaktor för barn. Enkätundersökningen visade att de situationer som pedagogerna anser stressar barnen mest är matsituationen och tambur- eller korridorsituationen.

The thesis and the product has beendeveloped in alliance with Faveo ProjectManagement with the shared goal to create a toolwhich is easy to use but still covers the essentialareas of project management theory. The tool willbe used internally by Faveo-employees as well asexternally together with Faveo?s clients in aneducational purpose.

Syftet med det här examensarbetet är att studera stress hos barn i förskolan och att undersöka hur pedagoger arbetar förebyggande mot stress hos barn i förskolan. Studien har genomförts med semistrukturerade intervjufrågor till åtta pedagoger i två förskolor. Pedagogerna arbetar med förskolebarn i åldrarna ett till sex. Resultatet pekar på att stressfaktorer i dagens samhälle påverkar båda vuxna och barn negativt och positivt. Det visar också att de vuxna (pedagogerna och föräldrarna) i första hand behöver lära sig att hantera sin egen stress.

Arbetet handlar om hur barn ser på och påverkas av stress, både i skolan och på fritiden. Syftet med arbetet är att skapa en förståelse för vad som stressar barn och genom det kunna hjälpa barnen att hantera de stressande situationer de hamnar i. Stress är kroppens reaktion när vi utsätts för krav. Det finns både positiv och negativ stress. Positiv stress kan vara en drivkraft som motiverar, men när kraven blir för stora vänds pressen till något negativt.

The purpose of this thesis is to present and describe which criteria, according to the systemfamily Configuration Management, should be met when developing a CM-tool to handlemigration data.ACT is a tool developed by Microsoft to gather information about, analyze, test and mitigateapplications in a network when migrating the IT-infrastructure of an organization to a newoperating system. The organization that is being studied wants to present the data about theanalyzed applications in such a way, that a customer can choose what to mitigate and migrate.The goal is therefore to develop a prototype (CM-tool) that will present this data.The study has shown that ACT lacks certain requirements stated by the organization when itcomes to presentation. But when it comes to the rest of the functions, ACT performs as expected.The investigation resulted in specifications and technical solution for the new CM-tool. CMcriteriafor migration data was put forth and parts of the prototype were also developed..
