This thesis is based on design theory about how to build an application for the mobile platform, a scientific analysis and an application for grocery shopping and meal planning. The thesis also contains a valuation of the research and of the application. The valuation of the application was done by a usability test and an analysis of the results of the test.The application of the thesis has an easy navigation system, which is time saving and simple to use. Finding recipes with the associated ingredients is a quick fix. The search function can be used for searching freely after recipes as well as for separate ingredients. That makes it possible for the user to create own recipes from available ingredients.

In this Master thesis interest is directed towards approaches toinformation literacy (IL) and critical thinking in the educationalactivities of university libraries. The aspiration of universitylibrarians to promote the critical abilities of students isproblematized. At the center of attention is the project?Lärandemål för informationskompetens? [Learning outcomes forinformation literacy], which in 2006 was carried out incollaboration between the Swedish university libraries, in responseto the educational reforms connected to the Bologna Process.Through the discourse analytical framework of NormanFairclough, documents related to the project ?Lärandemål förinformationskompetens? are studied in order to identifydominating approaches to IL. The purpose is to investigate anddiscuss the possible implications of the dominating perspectives,with regard to the development of critical thinking amongstudents.The study results in the identification of two main discourses, thestandardization discourse and the discourse on employability.

This is a thesis on how to develop and densifythe suburb of Joanneshov south of Stockholm.Based on Stockholm?s urban history,Stockholm master plan in 2010, the currentdensity and sustainability debate, literarystudies, as well as a variety of analysisof the site it all ends up with a proposal onJohanneshov. The goals have been workedout during the work and has resulted inthat we want to extend the inner city streetand linking Johanneshov with surroundingdistricts, but we also want to create a wellused, diverse, urban area where the humanis in focus and a district that is easy to read.Much of the work is devoted to show howStockholm has developed historical and totry to put the future in a context, but also a lotof work has been put in the information andthe analysis of the site chapter. Gullmarsplan is a typical 40thcentury area with a functionalist structure.Johanneshov is with Gullmarsplan,the Globe an the Slaughterhousearea, an important node for the southernsuburbs as a place for communication,sports, entertainment and shopping.Today Nynäsvägen divides the area intoa western and an eastern part.

Physiotherapists treat people with different views of the world and medical beliefs, which require a good understanding of cultural differences. One way to achieve cultural understanding is through self-reflection in a new context. During five weeks the authors, two physiotherapy students, completed a clinical practice at the rehabilitation center Pina Palmera, Zipolite, Oaxaca, Mexico. At the beginning of the period a critical incident was chosen, when the head physiotherapist for the ward Cuidados Especiales intended to sell jewellery to the authors during a treatment of a patient. The authors have by using the reflection framework "Framework to guide reflective process", and Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) for analysis, discussed different ways of communication, adherence, education, and self-reflection and critical thinking.

The!process! also! builds! on! that! ideas! should! come! from! the! users! first,! and! then! being!further!developed!by!the!company's!product!developers.!The!degree!of!communication!between!users!and!the!company!is!shown!and!the!report!clarifies!the!user!involvement!intensity!in!product!development!processes.!!The!involvement!process!that!has!been!developed!has!also!been!summarized!in!a!guide!that! can!be!used!by! a! company!on! a!daily!basis.!This! contains! information!on,! among!other!things,!how!users!are!selected!and!how!to!plan!a!workshop.!!! !.

I dagens hårda globala konkurrens blir det allt viktigare för företagen att dra ner på kostnader och koncentrera sig på sin kärnverksamhet. Ett svar på detta är outsourcing som blir allt vanligare bland företag. De tjänster som outsourcas blir också mer kvalificerade, det kan till exempel vara en hel ekonomiavdelning. Detta sker dock inte helt utan problem, att outsourca något strategiskt viktigt som en ekonomiavdelning ställer stora krav på bra styrning. Undersökningen ämnar identifiera hur en gemensam styrning av en outsourcad ekonomienhet kan utformas, samt identifiera hur styrningen kan utformas för att tillgodose både det levererande och de köpande organisationernas mål.

Många medlemsstater inom EU tillämpar idag sätesprincipen. Denna princip innebär att bolag lyder under den bolagsrättsliga lagstiftning som gäller där bolaget har sitt säte (styrelse, huvudkontor, huvudsaklig verksamhet etc.) Vissa medlemsstater tillämpar dock registreringsprincipen vilken innebär att ett bolag lyder under den bolagsrättsliga lagstiftning som gäller i den medlemsstat där det är registrerat oavsett var bolaget bedriver sin verksamhet. Motsättningarna mellan dessa principer har tidigare inneburit att bolags etableringsfrihet varit begränsad. Denna fråga har de senaste åren aktualiserats i ett antal förhandsavgöranden från EG-domstolen bl a Segers, Daily Mail, Centros, Überseering och Inspire Art. Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera vad EG-domstolens rättspraxis har för konsekvenser för bolags etableringsfrihet inom EU.

AbstractAs a developer of database-driven applications you will be faced with difficult choices, when it comes to choosing database, server and programming language. For the result to be satisfactory it requires the different techniques to interact well with each other and also fulfill performance expectations. This is even more important when the application is deployed to the cloud and the response time plays a major role.This paper evaluates different databases and their performance. To test the databases there was an application made in the server script language PHP or Hypertext Preprocessor and it was deployed to Windows Azure cloud platform. The test applications task is to call and load databases by controlled requests which creates, reads, updates and deletes data in an relatively large extent.The results shows that locale databases or databases in the same data center as the server generates the fastest response.

The purpose of this study is to examine the phenomenon ?Living library?, where people are lent out instead of books. First it is looked into what the Living library means to the person who is borrowing a living book and what it means to the living book itself. Than the Living library is put in a public library context. This is done through a case study of the city library of Helsingborg and the city library of Malmö.

Abstract The core is the center of gravity in our body. Injuries and overload in the joints, is the most common reason for not be able to work in Sweden today. A god strength capacity in the core is important for secure and effective movements, as well for active athletes, as for non athletes. The increased number of employees, who report in sick today, has been correlated with psychological bad health. New methods to deal with mental and physical health problems among people can indicate to the fact that Yoga in the western world has increased its members, due its spiritual and physical recognition in favor of well being.

Målsättningen för uppsatsen har varit att ifrågasätta det allmänmänskliga i mänskliga rättigheter, att problematisera en rättighetsidé som marknadsförs av bland annat FN, och som inom internationella relationer framställs som självskriven. Teorier om universalism och relativism har utgjort ramen, medan tre människorättsorganisationer ? Human Rights Center Viasna, Civil Rights Defenders och Amnesty International ? har fungerat som analysenheter. Organisationerna har undersökts genom de framställningar de gjort av MR-situationen i Vitryssland, närmare bestämt i form av nyhetsartiklar om tre samtida politiska händelser.Frågeställningarna fokuserade på allmängiltigheten i organisationernas MR-bild, deras inställning till europeiska och västerländska regelverk och aktörer, samt hur deras egen bakgrund eventuellt inverkar i arbetet. Resultaten visar att organisationerna jobbar universalistiskt, att de har globala preferenser snarare än europeiska, och att de i allt väsentligt arbetar opåverkade av sin kontext.Visserligen bör resultaten sättas i relation till den begränsade undersökningen, vilken kanske främst kan visa tendenser, men de unika dragen i forskningsområdet är inte att förglömma.

Eventmarknadsföring är i ropet just nu beroende på att det är ett sätt att kommunicera direkt till konsumenterna och påverka dem under en längre period. Denna uppsats behandlar hur en arrangör ska gå tillväga för att lyckas med att planera och genomföra ett varumärkesvärdeökande event. Särskilt om eventet har syftet att ses som ett startskott för framtida varumärkesvärde-ökande marknadskommunikation. Vi har använt den planeringsprocess som Shone och Parry gjort och sedan utvecklat denna för att den ska vara användbar till vårt syfte. Shone och Parry's modell innehåller det som krävs för att planera och genomföra ett event, allt ifrån målsättning till utvärdering efter genomförandet.
